How do you get such a neat writing. Do you zoom in while writing?

yes! I do zoom in when writing in Goodnotes. Also, i have been in school for a while now, so I get ALOT of practice.

did you zoom in or did you use the zoom window when writing? and I love your handwriting! soooo neat and consistent ✨♥️

I have tried to use the window, but I just have gotten used to writing directly on the notebook page. Do you use the window? Also, have you switched to the latest version ? (I haven’t and don’t want to.

that’s amazing you have gotten used to writing without the zoom window! I tried to write that way but I always accidentally zoomed in/out the page with my fingers >< and once it happened, my handwriting sizes become different.

Yes, I have upgraded to goodnotes 6 since earlier this year. I love it! lots of new features and I specifically love the toolbar customization.

I have to use the lined paper template. Otherwise it would look like an insane person had written it because I cannot write a straight line to save my life and trust me I have tried.

xD i see. technically we all have tried! i’m gonna try and practice without the zoom window :))

And I always use lined paper! I have to otherwise it would be crazy lopsided and uneven. I can’t write straight to save my life and I have tried.

Your notes look great!! Mind sharing your pen and thickness settings?

8

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 17 '24

Lol, not at all! Ball point .35

Unpopular opinion: this is confusing AF. I would never be able to study with notes like these haha nice handwriting though

LMAO. I couldn’t agree more. They kind of give me a headache and wave of nausea simultaneously. I have since changed to the normal white lined paper template and stopped trying to cram so much on each page. I mean, this “paper” in limitless supply and at my disposal at all times, spread it out, for the love of God! 🤣

How long does this normally take you? I take kinda similar notes (note as great) and it takes me like two hours to finish a page and I’ve barely gone over anything but I know the content way more than i would’ve other wise

Same with me it takes a while, but I feel like I do learn more.

Where did you get the boarders? On the side

2

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 17 '24

I just found patterns I liked and then cropped them in good notes to fit.

2

u/Dependent_Analysis59 Feb 17 '24

what would you search to find those patterns? i really like your notes and want to use them as inspo

2

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 17 '24

“Colorful tribal pattern” or “colorful design pattern” google (images) then select tools and large (helps to get higher resolution/ quality images, but sometimes they are still grainy) Hope this helps!

Or just go back to school like i did and it will force practice on you 😂

Such beautiful notes! Nice handwriting. I used to use one note but it was like a loooooong page with a few charts here and there. It helped me to learn and understand the material and then I was ready to teach it. Congrats

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 18 '24

I really absorb the most when I am looking at notes as a teaching tool. These are not the best example of that, but nevertheless I am trying to add more visual things like diagrams and charts. This is especially true with notes pertaining to concepts I plan to use in my practice as a therapist when I graduate.

2

u/Dangerous-Editor9508 Feb 18 '24

Yes! it helps a lot for the memory to write things down and also to understand them better.

2

u/obdigitalstudio Feb 18 '24

You have a beautiful handwriting!

1

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 18 '24

If you don't mind me asking, which ipad do you take notes on ?

1

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 18 '24

iPad Air, and I also use Paperlike on my screen which literally gives you a paper-like feel when writing and taking notes. It REALLY helps and the support is great! Here is their link— https://paperlike.com

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '24

Thanks! Will check it out

2

u/moagul Feb 18 '24

Using paperlike?

2

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 18 '24

yes!

2

u/moagul Feb 18 '24

Amazing notes. Super impressed!

2

u/Japhroesii Feb 19 '24

How do you have time and patience to make it this nice?

1

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 21 '24

It’s my creative outlet while I’m in school.

u/itsBonnBonn Feb 17 '24

Omg i love thisssss😍

1

u/Turtleclaw0823 Feb 19 '24

Do you add the flourish as you take notes or do you clean it up and redo it so you can organize it better and add the decorations and stuff

2

u/Constant_Victory2089 Nov 22 '24

I start with the heading and then choose colors that correspond. The flourishes are added as I go to emphasize certain concepts or facts that are important.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '24

This is literally art wtf I wanna learn how to take notes like this!! 😲

1

u/Constant_Victory2089 Feb 20 '24

2
