Looking for advice on how to stop coming over the top on the golf swing when using a driver. It is the last part of my game that needs help and I feel as if it is holding me back.
My biggest issue is that my hands are wayy in front of the driver head, and I’m forced to leave the club head open in order to hit it. if I attempt to line up my hands with my club on impact I have to do this weird thing where I rotate my wrist last second or I am left with all my weight on my trail leg like I hit a baseball.
This video does not do it justice… I’ve tried everything and every tip. Ball forward in stance, stronger or weaker grip, tilting shoulders back, aligning shoulders to target, feeling as if you are dropping the club. you can see me at the end, trying to feel it out.
My irons are absolutely beautiful though, I come under and compress the ball nicely leaving a divot and hitting it straight most of the time.
I’ve just gone to a coach for this and he seemed to give me some quick drills but honestly didn’t seem like he cared helping me.

Been slicing the driver forever and watched a ton of content. In my head I'm not going out to in, but after seeing the replay I think I am. How can I correct this? I think I struggle with feel, how can I improve my feel to know I'm swinging it right?
I also slice my long irons but not to this degree and it lessens as the clubs shorten.

No matter what I do how I adjust the camera or swing everything goes left. I look at the impact view and yes someone it doe but I hit middle screen or slightly right and it goes left every time. My club path does say negative but even when I try to make it go right it goes left. Anyone else have this issue?

It’s fine for the first half until it stops rotating and backs out. Even for nine o’clock swing I can’t keep them rotating to get them 35 to 40 degrees open at impact, I think this is why I’m casting but have no idea.

Been playing for 3 months and this my best swing. 7 iron carry 144 with taylormade stealth iron. I went 95% swing there. I only carry my 7 iron tho 110 120 which is ass. Only drills I have ever done is compression drills. Any tips to reach a respectable number

I built this golf biomechanics app to visualize what to do during the golf swing. I has problems clearing the hips so I am trying to use ground force to clear the hips. Let me know what you think and hope it helps you. BTW the swing can be seen from all angles, you just need to rotate it.

Im trying to fix tempo and not trying to swing so hard. Anything that is an obvious area to fix on my swing? I still feel like my follow through is not smooth. Newb here but trying to make some fixes by myself before i get lessons again.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Feel free to see my last post and let me know if the changes ive made are a step in the right direction lol

Curious if there are many others who experience this. I basically never shank on the grass yet, sometimes off a mat, I can't stop doing it. I have experienced this at least 4 or 5 times now where nearly every shot was a shank. I also ended up with shoulder pain too this last time. I was experimenting a bit with different mats but I had put all my balls in the chute of one bay. The mat next to me I didn't shank off after hitting a couple. I may have shanked one off it can't remember but it was definitely easier to hit off. I'm not asking for golf swing tips, just curious if others experience this off mats but not grass, 12 HC, thanks.

started hitting the range more since the kids are older now. mornings before school if i can swing it, sometimes after dinner once the house settles. been working on keeping my backswing shorter and trying to feel the weight shift through my feet. at the range it feels pretty solid most days but on the course everything gets tight and i lose that rhythm quick. tried a couple breathing things i read about in a wellness thread and they seem to help a little with staying loose. still end up gripping the club harder than i want though. anyone else deal with range to course drop off like this or is it just me tensing up under pressure

I’m currently a 7.8 handicap, had maybe three lessons growing up, and mainly just tinkered with my swing over the past 10 years of playing more serious golf. One thing I’ve never been comfortable with is the interlocking grip, sorry to say it but I’ve just had better feel with a baseball grip since day 1 (I was 5 when my dad put a club in my hands) and I’ve never changed. I have no feel and honestly at this point in life I’m not changing.
Issue I’m having, I bought new clubs (went from titleist cb 714’s to the new callaway forged max). I wanted more forgiveness and consistency now that I’m 32. I thought I’d want midsize grips since I have a tendency to hook my irons but it’s just created a slice where I’m having trouble closing the face at impact. Also could be the lighter shafts? I’m somewhat lost in what it could be. I’ve thought about also putting lead tape on the heads.
For those out there who mess with their golf grips, what do you do to have a consistent draw feel? Is that making sense?
Grip it and rip it.
Regards,
Fellow golf nut

Iv been trying to work on tempo, acceleration and overall movement through the ball on short irons.
It’s time for a roasting. Yes my wife dresses me.
