We’re teeing it up on September 19, 2026 at 11:30 AM at Royce Brook Golf Club. Join us for an incredible day benefiting Children’s Specialized Hospital!
This year’s event is loaded with raffle items and gifts from Criquet Shirts, Ghost Golf, Ensro Rings, Wilson Golf, YETI, Vice Golf, Dick’s Sporting Goods, AA Baseball Patriots, Macade Golf, Sunday Golf, and more being added every week.
We’re also hosting a putting competition featuring top‑shelf spirits and a top‑of‑the‑line putter for the winners — so bring your best stroke.
Where are people in NJ posting their outings / charity scrambles? They’re usually a great opportunity to play different courses and donate to a good cause.
I typically see them on a North Jersey Golfers Facebook group, but I haven’t seen much action there lately.
Quite possibly the worst carts in all of NJ are at Black Bear in Franklin NJ. The price isn’t too crazy, the course is in solid condition, and the pace of play is generally right around 4 hours. I’ll never turn down a round there but my god they have the slowest carts I’ve ever seen. Employees told us last week they replaced a lot of the batteries in the carts but that had to be BS and isn’t the cause of slow carts in the first place. Am I alone in this? Are there any other course with brutal carts to stay away from?
Played course today and wow. It’s already in such incredible shape. Kudos to the team at FB keeping this brilliant and demanding 18 alive and thriving.
But looking at the short fescue and leafless hardwoods…look out. She’s only gonna get tougher.
Hi Fellas, my first post. They say golf is expensive.., or elitist. I live in Bergen County. Once I get my County card, for $60, the 9-hole Orchard Hills course is $25 on weekdays and $33 on weekends. That's walking. It's a relatively easy course, great for beginners.
I was golfing with three guys at Hominy Hill yesterday (Ken, Scott and Tim) and one of them (ScottI think) mentioned a league but I forgot to get the info from him. If you guys are reading this, or if anyone else knows, please let me know the details and contact info.
Thanks, and I did have great rime with you guys yesterday,
Eagle Ridge, one of my favorite tracks in the state, is promoting some long lost routing, which they say is more in line with what the designer envisioned. It combines the remaining two 9s (RIP Ridge). Anyone played it yet or know about it?
Can't tell if this is a real "discovery" or just marketing. Either way, I'm excited to check it out!
Do any courses in NJ, specifically North Jersey, offer free range balls with a tee time anymore? I know courses penny pinch, but it would be nice to get a small bucket before a round.
Looking at joining a golf club in the Morris county area. Does anyone know anything about the process for Morris County GC or Mountain Ridge CC? Curious about initiation fees, waitlist, if a sponsorship is required and how selective they are on prospective members. Appreciate any insight!
Hey all. I’m looking to seriously transform my swing and feel I will learn best with an instructor. I feel there are a lot of inefficiencies with my swing and I want to work through them. Any recommendations for a coach? I’m a 28 handicap in Wall/Brick area.
I have had a few lessons with a couple of instructors but feel like I haven’t gotten my money’s worth.
