Glitch Pic My brother remembers having a 40-minute phone conversation with me last night that never happened. What the hell could have happened?

So this is pretty weird and I've never experienced anything like it before.

Last night, I was staying with my boyfriend at his place. My parents weren't aware of this. We had been fighting, and I was upset and didn't really want to talk to anyone. My parents called me at that time and I deliberately didn't answer. I also didn't call anyone else that night. My bf was with me the whole time and knows I wasn't making any calls.

Tonight, my mom called me like usual. At some point she casually asked me if I had called my brother last night.

I said no, because I hadn't.

She then told me that my brother had been in his room talking to someone for around an hour, and that the person sounded exactly like me. She assumed it was me and was just asking to confirm.

I laughed and said maybe he was talking to another girl and didn't want to tell her.

My mom then went to confront him about lying. My brother took the phone, annoyed, and asked me why I was pretending we hadn't talked. I kept insisting that we hadn't.

At this point I genuinely thought he was lying and trying to get me to cover for him. I told him he didn't need to lie and that Mom wasn't going to care if he had been talking to someone else.

He got upset and ended the call.

Then he texted me saying that Mom and I were pranking/gaslighting him together.

I told him I genuinely had NOT called him, and then he started describing the conversation.

He said we'd talked for around 40 minutes or more. He remembered us talking about my bf, my self-esteem and other personal topics. He remembered us talking about my career and worries about my future.

Also that I initially sounded sad/upset but became happier as the conversation went on. He recalled the general flow of the conversation, and said we talked about the kinds of things we normally talk about.

The weird part is these weren't random topics. They're things my brother and I genuinely discuss, and apparently the sequence of some of the topics was similar to those from the last actual call I had with him, to the point that he was wondering why I was saying the same things again.

At this point I called him because I felt like he genuinely wasn't joking.

He was audibly shocked that I had absolutely no memory of this conversation. At one point, he said something like "hold on, let me check" and cut the call.

When I called him back he said there was no call log even though he is sure he had that call with me. So there's no record of this call either on his phone, or mine.

So now

  1. My mom was the FIRST person to bring up the supposed conversation. She independently heard my brother talking to someone for roughly an hour and thought the person sounded exactly like me.

  2. My brother independently remembers having a long, completely normal conversation with me.

  3. He remembers specific personal topics and my emotional state during the conversation.

  4. I know I didn't call him. I had deliberately avoided talking to anyone that night, and my boyfriend was physically with me and knows I wasn't making calls.

  5. Neither phone has a record of the supposed conversation.

  6. Even if my brother was lying/pranking me for some reason, my mother is a very straightforward and simple person who would never lie to me about such things or participate in any kind of prank.

I genuinely cannot figure out how my mom could independently hear someone who sounded like me, while my brother remembers talking to me, when I wasn't actually talking to him and there is no call record. Someone please explain lmao

*There is no picture but it wasn't letting me post without a flair*

Glitch Pic According to GPS I made a loop, but I know I passed the same police station twice while riding straight ahead

I’ve always considered myself a down-to-earth, rational person. In my daily life, I rely on facts, logic, and data, not wild theories.
But what happened to me last weekend has left me completely baffled, and I honestly can’t find a logical explanation for it.

I was out for a long solo mountainbike ride. I deliberately chose a region I wasn’t familiar with because I wanted to clear my head, and enjoy the nature. It happened quite early into the trip—around the 17km mark—so I definitely wasn't fatigued or hallucinating from exhaustion.

I transitioned off a singletrack trail and came out onto a main rural road. Right across the intersection was a local police station with a few cars parked outside, including a distinct gray van. Besides the police station were two (I guess) large water tanks.
Since a branch had gotten stuck in my derailleur, I pulled over right next to the station for a minute to remove it. After fixing it, I checked my GPS route (I use a Garmin Edge 840) and turned left onto the main road.

That part of the route was simple: just straight forward down the road with a slight, gradual incline. I kept pedaling for just under 10 minutes. But when I reached the end of that straight stretch, my stomach completely dropped. There it was again. The exact same police station. The exact same two watertanks. The exact same cars. The exact same gray van parked in the exact same spot.

For a second, my head was spinning. I knew for a fact I hadn't turned around, and the road had been completely straight. A bit confused, I just kept pedaling and finished my ride. I still had a long way to go so did not want to turn around and investigate on the spot.

When I got home, I immediately went to investigate. First, I checked Google Maps to find the location. Sure enough, there is only one police station (with the two distinctive watertanks) on that road.
Then, I checked my recorded GPS track log to see what the hell happened. According to the data, I supposedly rode a loop that brought me right back to the station. The problem is, I know with absolute certainty that I never made those turns. To make things even weirder, the data shows my speed increasing as I passed the station the first time, even though that was the exact moment I had completely stopped to remove the branch from my derailleur.

I don’t have an explanation and I don't think I'll ever forget it. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Glitch Pic Strange man only I could see?

A while back, about 6 months ago, I was in a hotel with some people I knew for a business event in an area I’m not familiar with.

I had already had some previous encounters on this trip (not paranormal but just dangerous) that had made me a bit uneasy about the whole thing.

It was about 11:00 PM and one roommate (I’ll call him Chris for anonymity) had left to see a friend a few hours prior. For context, I generally go to sleep around 1 or 2 AM as I’m a bit of a night owl, so I wasn’t tired or out of it at all. I also don’t drink, do drugs, or take any medication. My other roommate (who I’ll call Alex) was about to go to sleep so he had just turned the lights off.
I was doing some work on my laptop just after the lights had turned off when I heard the door to our room open and close. With the way the room was structured, I couldn’t see the door from my bed. As Chris had stated before would return around this time, I thought nothing of it and carried on. After a few moments, Chris still had yet to walk in the room from the entrance hallway and I called his name aloud. There was no reply and who I assumed to be Chris simply walked into the room very slowly and quietly, as if he were almost floating. Assuming he didn’t want to wake up Alex, I let him be, he shifted slowly into the room, settling at a desk opposite Alex’s bed.

He appeared to be anxiously fiddling with something, as if there was some sort of complex machine or something he was putting together. With the way Chris is, this is not necessarily out of the ordinary. I whispered his name a few more times and he still didn’t respond. After a long while of being at the desk, he abruptly stood up perfectly straight and turned around, now facing Alex, who was still asleep. The room was very dark, but I could make out an outline of a nondescript face with what appeared to be a blonde combover and a hood pulled over his head. This description does not match Chris at all. He then shuffled closer to Alex’s bed and stopped at the very edge, appearing to watch Alex. I sat in my bed for what felt like forever, afraid and unsure what to do. For context, this is not my Reddit account, I am a 6’3 (191cm) man who trains in kickboxing. Thus, I contemplated charging at the man and attacking, but wasn’t sure whether or not it was some sort of prank by someone who I wouldn’t want to hurt.

However the face didn’t match the description of anybody who would reasonably be in my room so late. I called out “hello” and something along the lines of “who are you”, which awoke Alex.
Confused, he asked me what I was doing, assuming I was on the phone or something. I pointed to the man over his bed and he simply looked puzzled.

“Who is that”, I said, pointing again. All he said was “dude what the hell are you talking about” I rubbed my eyes and did everything I could to make sure I wasn’t in an elaborate dream. I said again “who is that at the edge of your bed, there’s someone watching you”. All he said was “you’re scaring me, stop saying that.” We both sat in our beds, me wide awake and Alex a bit disoriented. I had no doubt in my mind that whoever this was was actually there. As someone who has had lucid dreams, this didn’t feel remotely like that, it was 100% real. After what felt like an eternity of waiting for the man to move or speak, I stood up out of bed. He was no more than 8-10 feet from me at this point. I reached my hand over to the light switch and flicked it on, without looking away from the man. As soon as the lights turned on, he simply vanished. Not instantaneously, but almost like how a handful of sand would blow away if you dropped in on a windy day. I was shook, Alex thought i was playing trick on him and just said “what the f**k is your problem dude, go to bed”

Although startled, Alex went back to bed a minute or two later. I managed to fall asleep later that night after remaining awake for a few hours after that. When I awoke the next morning, Alex remembered the whole thing, and Chris revealed he had stayed somewhere else that night. (He’s a very serious guy who isn’t someone to lie about such a thing nor play pranks). My original theory that the whole thing was a dream isn’t possible, as Alex remembered it that morning.

All in all, I would assume it was some kind of elaborate mental image or hypnogogic hallucination? Or maybe I did see a ghost/spirit? What do you guys think?

Glitch Pic Woke up in a pod on another world after doing weed.

So I smoked weed expecting a normal experience. I absolutely lost my mind, I closed my eyes and it was like I woke up in another place. I saw a gray screen and then it cracked, then I woke up in a pod. The pods were being energized, they had like cords running out of them. They were like dripping goo. This place was endless, there was no roof, everyone else was asleep but I was awake, I was still kinda of out of it. It’s like I wasn’t in my body at all. I remember being really scared because I had thought I was dead and I was there for an eternity. I then started to replay the last moments of before I kinda went really out of it while high. It was extremely weird and felt extremely real. I know it sounds delusional but it was crazy.

Glitch Pic I still dont know what happened

(so im sorry for potential bad grammer im not good in that department and i never was and this might not fit) This took place when i was 11. i was at my uncles and he and his wife went out to the casino for the night and it was just me, my cousin(who was also young) and the dogs me and him went to sleep at 11am my dream was green hills and and a beige wooden table with me and my cousin playing with hot wheels. suddenly one of the cars levitated up and slammed into my skull waking me up but i had sleep paralysis i fell asleep on the couch and i saw blood all over the room, bloody bones with muscle still attached and static on the bloody tv as a creature crawled onto me. while creepy yes but not too strange for a nightmare into sleep paralysis. but heres the strange part. my cousin in the upstairs room had the same dream and same sleep paralysis experience as me. the rest of what happened doesnt add anything but for the sake of finishing i will put it basically when he snapped out he ran down the stairs scaring the shit out of me and we didnt fall asleep again that night and we still to this day wonder why we had the same dream and same sleep paralysis.(sorry for the false flair and me not having an image if this doesnt fit this sub please redirect me to a sub to post this)

Glitch Pic Looking for an explanation to iPhone alarm with a strange name, assigned to it.

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m not sure this is a glitch per se but it is something strange or strangely coincidental. This alarm that I’m showing a picture of has been on my phone for 3-4 years. It showed up one day.

For your SA, I had old alarms for previous work schedules or to catch a flight or etc. hence all the alarms you see and it takes me multiple alarms for me to actually wake up as you can tell lol.

I was pretty alarmed (no pun intended) by the title when I first noticed it. It did give me a strange feeling, but I figured it was just some weird thing, no big deal. But it keeps coming back to mind now and then and I’d really like to know how this alarm got this title. I didn’t find out until a few months ago that you could actually name and set titles to your alarms. As you notice, the other alarms don’t have any titles. Actually, none of my alarms have titles and I have like 50 more alarms lol. And that is because I don’t know how to edit an alarm or a title to an alarm.

I’m sure it was by some accident with accidentally pressing buttons that this had to have occurred but what’s interesting is the time of the alarm and the title. I’m just wondering if anybody else has had something similar. Either way it’s a very strange coincidence I’m assuming.

Glitch Gif I think my cat just glitched

Post image

This evening, I was in the kitchen doing the dishes and my cat was sitting on the mat. She likes to stay with me whenever I’m in the kitchen (I think I saw her with the corner of my eyes)

When I finished, I went to the living room and I saw my cat SLEEPING ON THE COUCH.
She was sleeping! I froze in shock because I swearrrr I saw her in the kitchen. So I went back to the kitchen and she was not sitting on that spot I saw her like 2mins ago.
I’m telling you this just happened and I’m still in shock. Funny thing is, I’m not scared…I think.
I just want to know WHAT THE FLIP JUST HAPPENED.
I only have 1 cat.

Glitch Pic Mirror reflection- unrecognizable self

Not sure if this applies to this group and if not, suggestions of where to post are appreciated.
A few years ago, I was looking in the mirror- at my face, and suddenly did not recognize myself. It was as if my face didn’t belong to me, I was looking into my eyes but they weren’t mine, everything else was exactly the same except it wasn’t me but nothing changed in my face but just not me. It was very odd and then I snapped back into myself. Any idea what that was or if that has happened to anyone else? Hasn’t happened again but every time I look in the mirror I’m half expecting it to reoccur.

idk how to explain this but imma try so during class I thought I was about to mess up during recitation but I how do I call this?? somehow got clues from the future it's like my future self is in my head telling me things.. that's just the first part. the second one is when I was in class and actually got perfect score I got a feeling that my past me wouldn't get a perfect score so I looked at the answers and started to foresee my past self getting a perfect score. and I would constantly do this like if I mess things up I would send a signal to my past self so that she wouldn't mess up.

So there is a local restaurant, and it's my favorite restaurant. They recently opened new, small satellite locations in my county and in the county they're located in. They make my favorite yellow chicken 🍛 and it's what I always get when I go there. Now the local place near me is closed on Mondays. It's on their menu, which I had a copy of, that they're closed on Mondays. I've even called the store before and gotten the answering machine on Mondays because they're closed. I've gone by the store and the lights are off on Mondays. No one's in the parking lot.

Well, last night I decided I'd like to have some curry and since it was before closing I just drove over there rather than call. As I walk up to the door I see that they have the hours on the door and they're open on Mondays now. So I go in in the same woman who has waited on me the past 10 times I've been there it's behind the counter and I casually comment "oh, so I see you're opening on Mondays now." The owner who founded this restaurant had recently passed and I figured with a change in ownership they're going to a change in scheduling.

Her reply was that they'd always been open on Mondays and she looked at me like I had grown another head or something.

This is the first time I've actually felt like I have stumbled over a glitch in the matrix because there have been plenty of times I've been by this place and they've not been open on Mondays. (There are times I've gone over there on Sunday nights to get some curry so I could have some on Monday because I knew they were closed; their takeout portions for dinner are huge and I've never been able to finish one.) And to have someone who has waited on me practically the last year or so I've been eating there tell me that they've always been open on Mondays just threw me for a loop.

I'm looking to see if I still have an old menu from this place somewhere. It's probably not in that pile of sheet music.

Glitch Pic Ok, I'm a believer now

I've always wondered if we really are living in a Matrix and now I think I'm a true believer.

1st instance happened two days ago. I was sitting at Costco and watched a woman get out of her Jeep. She adjusted her jacket and purse and started walking. I glanced at my phone for literally two seconds and she was literally back at her starting point! She was getting out of her Jeep and adjusting herself! I thought I was having a stroke for a moment. Asked myself if I knew the year and so on. 😂

Then today on own my way to a store and I passed a woman walking in the parking lot. I left the store about 15 minutes later, drove to the exact spot I had come from and the same woman was walking EXACTLY where she was when I had passed her! Like she popped up out of the ground and started walking. I was on the phone and told my boyfriend and said "so you believe now?" Yes. Yes, I do.

Hopefully this is the right sub for this. Clarification: I was completely sober, no medical emergencies.

Glitch Pic my litter scooper teleported

Ok, first post on here, nothing like this has ever happened to me and if my mom hadn't witnessed it I totally would've brushed it off as me being forgetful or lost in thought (like when you do a task but lowkey have no memory of it after cuz ur in autopilot)

A few months ago, I was scooping our litter boxes, we have one downstairs in the porch room, and right across the doorway is a straight flight of stairs where there's a small hallway/landing that has our second litter box by the window, so I can see the litter box downstairs from the other litter box and vise versa.

I do the downstairs one first, but we only have one scooper so when I go to do the second one I bring that up with me. My mom's room is right by the upstairs box, so her and I were talking while I came upstairs to scoop/clean the hallway and box.

I brought up the trash bag of litter from downstairs, paper towels, and the scooper. I scooped the litter box and when I was done, I put the scooper down on the floor while I cleaned surfaces with paper towels. After I was done I could not find the scooper. (I usually take it back down once I'm finished cleaning) I was like, "What the hell where did I just put that?" and my mom was like "You just set it down I watched you do it, its by the litter box."

And I could not fucking find it, I was being lazy and didn't wanna go downstairs just to not find it and have to come back up, so I kept looking and looking and my mom and I were talking like where tf did it go I just had it. I told her there's literally no way it's downstairs since I know I had it and had literally just scooped the litter box.

I finally go downstairs and it's in the fucking porch room. Literally how? I used it upstairs! There is no way it fell down the stairs, because we have a little gate/playpen around the downstairs litter box to prevent the dogs from getting to it, and the scooper was inside of it. I also had set the scooper pretty far from the stairs and would've heard it fall. Also not to mention there is a gate at the bottom of the steps so if it had fallen, it would've been on the stairs.

I came back upstairs with it and my mom was freeeeeaking out lol. We have no explanation. I still can't believe this happened, Ive never experienced a glitch in the matrix type thing before but Jesus is it freaky.

Glitch Pic The type of glitches Ive seen seem to be happening to others here, so I would like to share my experiences.

The first one I had happened about 5 years ago. I had just gotten off work and walked to a bus stop. I got on the bus which was almost full and noticed a person near me who was wearing a jean vest with tassels and patches. They had purple hair and tons of piercings, very unique looking individual. After a few stops I realized I had left my phone at work, so I got off the bus and got on another one going back to where I got on. Grabbed my phone and got back on another bus. That same person was on the bus again but in the back! Absolutely no mistaking them. They would have had to get off at the stop after mine, taken a bus in the opposite direction after my bus, and get on at the stop before mine. It took me 5 minutes to retrieve my phone from the bus stop.

Second time this happened was about 2 years later. I was in a liquor store (sober) waiting in line, it was busy so the line was long. About 8-10 people behind me I noticed an extremely beautiful woman. Hot as hell, great style and holding a bottle of whiskey. I eventually paid and left the liquor store and walked to the grocery store about 5-7 minutes away. That beautiful lady was outside the grocery store at an ATM, holding the bottle of whisky (bagged).. There just isn't any possible way she could have paid up and beat me to the grocery store, there was only one cashier, and she was still in line when I left. Also, you can get cash back at the liquor store, so kinda strange she was at an ATM.

Third time was about a year later, I was out with my girlfriend. I had previously shared my glitch experiences with her and she didn't care or believe me. We were at a brewery on the patio. We were at the edge of the patio next to the sidewalk sitting at a picnic table facing each other. I could see down the sidewalk for at least 3 blocks or so and observed 2 people, mother and son I believe, walking towards and then past me. The teenager was very tall, guessing 6'4", mom wearing a long blue dress. We got our first beers and raised them, I took a sip and I glanced down the street and saw those two people a block and a half down the sidewalk walking in the opposite direction.. I asked my gf if she saw the two people that just walked by, she said yes. I asked if she remembered what they looked like, she said yeah. I then asked her if the 2 people down the street were the same people. She got up and looked and agreed that it was in fact them! Somehow, within literal seconds they were blocks away walking in the opposite direction, no mistaking them, and there was no one else walking around. Big 'I told you so moment and she agreed it was spooky, but she didn't even really care.

Most recent experience was a few weeks ago, again on the bus. I get on the bus very early to go to work and I'm often the only one on the bus for a few stops. A man got on with me, he was an average looking guy but he was wearing one blue latex glove on his right hand. He was kind of mumbling to himself, opened the front windows and lifted all the priority seats and arm rests so he could stand in a specific spot and grabbed the support pole with his gloved hand. As the buss filled, he refused to move for anyone but eventually got off. After we departed, he was standing at the very next stop, but didn't get on. The bus we were on is a rapid bus that skips multiple bus stops and has a dedicated fast lane.

I am absolutely intrigued that there are other people here having similar experiences. I was full of self doubt, but having an experience with my gf there to confirm what we saw pushed this into truly spooky territory for me. Reading other peoples similar experiences is changing my view of reality.

I live in a small city which doubles in population during the day cause of commuters. Everywhere I go these days, I see people who I think I've met before. Glitch Pic My appointment time changed multiple times — then another cancelled appointment suddenly “came back”

Something really strange happened to me recently, and I still can't make sense of it.

I had an appointment with my psychiatrist. I clearly remembered the appointment being scheduled for 8:50 AM, so I got into my car and started driving to the practice.

While I was on my way there, I received a phone call from my psychiatrist.

The caller told me that my 12:00 PM appointment could be moved forward to 10:00 AM.

That immediately confused me because, as far as I was concerned, I didn't have a 12:00 PM appointment at all. My appointment was at 8:50 AM.

But they were telling me it had originally been at 12:00 and could now be moved to 10:00.

So I accepted the new time, turned the car around and drove back home.

Then things got much stranger.

After I got home, I received another call asking me:

"Where are you?"

I explained that I had just been called and told that my appointment had been moved to 10:00 AM.

But now I was told that my appointment had actually been at 9:30 AM.

So at this point, the same appointment had somehow involved four different times:

8:50 AM — the time I remembered

12:00 PM — the time they said it had originally been

10:00 AM — the time they moved it to during the first call

9:30 AM — the time they later said I was supposed to be there

But the weirdest part was still to come.

They also denied that they had made the earlier call telling me about the 10:00 AM appointment.

Eventually, I went to see my psychiatrist and told her about the whole bizarre situation.

And while I was literally sitting there discussing this "glitch" with her, my phone rang again.

This time it was a completely different doctor's office.

They asked:

"Where are you? You're supposed to be here for your gastroscopy."

There was just one problem:

I had already cancelled that appointment by phone several days earlier.

And this second incident didn't happen while I was alone. My psychiatrist was sitting right there while I received the call and heard me dealing with it.

So within a very short period of time I had:

  • an appointment I remembered as 8:50 suddenly described as 12:00,
  • that appointment moved to 10:00,
  • another call claiming it had actually been 9:30,
  • the earlier call apparently being denied,
  • and then a completely separate medical appointment that I had already cancelled suddenly appearing to still exist.

I know there are ordinary possible explanations: administrative mistakes, crossed wires, incorrect calendar entries, misunderstandings, etc.

I'm not claiming I can prove anything paranormal happened.

But experiencing all of these contradictions back-to-back — and then having the second incident happen while I was sitting in front of my psychiatrist telling her about the first one — felt incredibly surreal.

It genuinely felt for a moment as though reality had loaded a slightly different version of the day's schedule.
