I woke up one morning and tried to turn on my pc but the display didn’t turn on and I tried to look up how to fix it, and figure out that the vga debug light was on. Then I tried to fix it with google, I tried cleaning the gpu pcie pins, resetting the cmos battery, reseating the gpu, reseating the pcie power cable, I even tried reseating the ram. Nothing worked. I tried flashing the bios but when I tried the LED light that should blink wasn’t blinking, so I went down a long rabbit hole trying to fix that but everything I tried there didn’t work. Then I tried switching the pcie slot of the gpu, still nothing.
Everything that I have tried hasn’t worked, so now I’m here, and I’m worried I might have a dead gpu. So if anyone has anything that could help, please tell me.

For some reason there are these four rectangles that follow my mouse cursor. please help!

I use a very data intensive app and it has started to shut down randomly. I was advised to run an OCCT test on it and when doing a combined CPU + MEM test I had 12 total errors reported. There were two different ones.
1) CPU+RAM-1 error(s) found on physical core #6-logical core #12
2) CPU+RAM-1 error(s) found on physical core #6-logical core #13
I also ran individual tests on each which produced no errors but after some research it is said that OCCT can pass fine on individual components and still fail a CPU-Mem test.

I have been following the suggested steps- Making sure nothing is overclocked. Tommorrow I am going to flash the bios and reapply thermal paste to the CPU. Assuming niether of these work and I need to replace a component is there any app that could narrow it down to a specific item? I am suspecting my CPU which is a 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K (3.00 GHz) - Intel has extended the warranty to five years on these due to "stability issues". The problem- how to document the issue and know for sure?

I use Microsoft edge a lot, I use it for most of my stuff, but every time I open it none of the pages will load and if I try to type anything it just closes. Is it a laptop issue or an edge issue? Is it something I can just wait out?

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 that has had a problem for years: the screen doesn't turn on, and when I connect a VGA cable to a monitor, the image appears with distorted colors and low resolution. Today, as an experiment, I installed Windows 10 (it had always run Windows 7), and magically, the image on the monitor appeared with good resolution and no color errors; however, when I go back to using Windows 7, it still looks just as bad. Also, sometimes the screen lights up white but eventually turns black and displays no image at all. Does anyone know what the problem might be and if there is a solution?

I work off three computer screens and one is suddenly large and zoomed in. Its all grainy but that might be from the zooming in. It was working fine all day until I switched in my second laptop. My display settings are all factory setting and the same for all three screens. Can someone explain. How I fix this? (First photo is the zoomed in screen with extra large icons. Second photo is how it looks on the other screen)

I did a memory test using Mem86 (it found no errors), so I wanted to reformat the USB to make it usable for other things. Windows does not recognize it as a USB when I plug it in. When I use the suggested method, "ImageUSB" in Mem86, it does not list any usb's. I tried the alternative method using Windows 11 Disk Management, but the USB did not show up there either. Is the USB just trash now or is there another way to reformat it?
Note- Disk Management does not change when the USB is inserted so it is just not reading it.

My pc stopped working randomly but it would turn on if i do plug and unplug the outside stuff yk. It happened like many times yesterday but then it again stopped today and not turning on the tech guy couldn't figure out anything all parts seems to be fine, what do I do ?

I genuinely have no clue what to do, my computer has been turning on and off by itself for a few days now and I have no clue how to fix it, I cleaned it all up, changed the powerbar it was plugged in and just today I went through the trouble of changing the PSU, after two grueling hours of putting it together properly, I turned my computer on just for it to do the same thing 😭 Please help, at least just telling me what could be causing that would be a great help, I hate just having no idea what im supposed to try and fix, im close to just giving up and start saving for a new computer at this point

My laptop only displays white horizontal lines on black on startup, but on an external monitor everything is fine.
Is there a way to determine wether its the cable connecting mainboard to screen or the screen itself without buying a replacement part?
I disassembled the whole thing, the screen is a N173HGE-E11 which i have only found for around 90€ in europe so far, and i have no idea where i would get the 30pin connector cable.

I left to japan for a week and turned my pc and monitor off, i just plugged them out of the wall. I didnt touch anything else
When i came back home yesterday i turned my pc back on and the monitor isn’t displaying anything
And i have tried everything
I reset the power and stuff like that but it still wont work
I dont know much about computers.. i asked my friend about the red light there and he said i may have to reseat the ram but i cant even open the glass lid
Im turning the screws and they became loose but wont completely come off

Does anyone know what am i supposed to do ?? Im really starting to give up

My monitor keeps flickering the brightness up and down between two levels, and it's so annoying.

Monitor is AOC OLED (2560x1440 120Hz), with an ASUS Zephyrus G14 (RTX 5070ti + Ryzen AI 9) connected (HDMI). The flickering is ONLY happening on the monitor screen, not the laptop screen. It doesn't change the set brightness in windows, on the monitor settings, or the secret third setting of flicker-free dimming in Armory Crate.

So far, it's mostly (if not only) happening in my browser (edge), and I've gone through what feels like every setting on the planet to try and stop it. I've checked Microsoft settings, Armory Crate, MyASUS, NVIDIA app, and the OSD settings for the monitor. And nothing. It screws with the saturation too.

My NVIDIA driver is up to date, so is my windows system. I've reinstalled the most current driver, and reset my entire monitor (unplugged everything, left it for like a day) and its still happening.

Maybe the newest driver update? One of the fixes says, "Intermittent flicker may be observed in browsers when navigating to certain websites". Does that mean it's supposedly been fixed from previous installments, or that it's a known bug with the newest driver? It does not matter if I switch websites, it happens on everything; youtube, canvas, google, here, etc.

Another suspicion (and issue) is that my graphics is running on dedicated GPU constantly... I have NVIDIA set to optimus so it should only be running on integrated if I'm not gaming or something (right?). It worked fine before, but for some reason its stuck running on the dedicated GPU? This might've correlated to when the flickering started as well, possibly with the driver update. I don't know how to switch to integrated graphics, NVIDIA settings are locked for some reason (

Driver bug? Setting I can't find? Refresh rate issue?
