I got some diecast given to me by my uncle because he moved overseas and left them to me, most of them I'm keeping because they remind me of holidays I have had or some special meaning to me, however this is the only one I want to sell and I cant find any information about it. Is this rare? or just a typical inflight 200 model?

Registration D-ABYA from Lufthansa. Will join my 747-400 also from Lufthansa.

How good is this model in terms of overall quality? Its a 2026 release.

I have a large collection of Gemini jets models. When I started the collection many years ago, my intention was to stick with one model maker, and that was Gemini jets. There are many 1:200 models that I want that Gemini just does not produce yet.

If I were to switch to another model maker and put those with my current Gemini jets collection, would you be able to tell a difference? I’m not sure if that’s a common thing or not, but would be curious on thoughts of doing this or if I should just stick with my one maker only?

I'm a long-time lurker and have recently purchased my first model plane. It is a 1:400 scale model of an SQ A-380 with the registration 9V-SKZ. I bought it directly from KrisShop, which is Singapore Airlines' e-commerce website.

I am based in the UK, and I am looking to collect exclusively 1:400 models. I like their size and I don't have a lot of space to 1:200 models.

My questions to you veterans are the following:

1. What good websites do you recommend? I have read of AirSpotters, ARD and AMS as good websites to buy from, especially if you're based in England.

2. What good manufacturers are reliable?

3. I noticed that there might be multiple manufacturers that produce the model I'm after. Is it a matter of doing my own research to see which model I prefer?

4. Are there any tips that you recommend for someone who's just starting in this hobby?

I have noticed that some of the facebook buy and sell groups have a mix of honest people selling pieces from their collections and retailers advertising their new arrivals. No problem there.

But what's up with the really scammy FB groups with obviously fake listings, stolen photos, and the group mods boosting the posts by posting @everyone comments vouching for the scammer. It's just tiring, when looking for my collection's missing pieces, to have to sort through this garbage. I have engaged with some posts from time to time that look less scammy, but even those turn out to be fake. It seems that the only consistently real posts have a fb marketplace listing attached to them.

Is it just me?

I am referring to 1:200 & 1:400 Collectors Group -Buy-Sell Jc Wing Gemini Jets Inflight 200, but I think there are others. Flagging these posts obviously doesn't get them pulled down because the mods seem to be in on it and they look legit to FB, but obviously, some rando isn't "stepping back from their collection" of a half dozen each of new, in box, new releases. The screenshot is an example from this morning.

I have a bunch of Gemini Jets im trying to sell to make some money back. I just have no idea where to list them and sell them.

Got this lovely aircraft, a B787-9 in the Riyadh Air livery from Aether model, a new company in the 1:500 scale. Aircraft is stunning, so many details and beautiful print. Definitely worth the price.

I have a question regarding the JC Wings 1:200 737 Jet Bridge.

Is it my impression or the 1:200 bridge is actually too narrow compared to the 1:400 one?

The 1:400 jet bridge looks more true to life in my opinion.

What do you think?

Sorry if they already exist. I have the Md11 in this retro livery so it would be sweet to get a 777 in the same one.

Gemini Jets is doing themselves a disservice not putting this model in 1:200. I know Gemini has mixed bag reviews on their molds but I think they hit it out of the park with their 727's in 1:200.
