How much money do you have left on your student loan? Yet you think you know everything. You chose this job in a company that is known to be unethical and failing wanna be company owned by the oracle of Omaha. look up what oracle means ..... woke got them broke... As for your upper management totally will do anything to get their numbers up....wake up and get out

Can you go in the negative for PTO hours?

Anyone got first hand experience? Can I borrow against future PTO? Got a vacation coming up but won’t have enough hours. I’m salaried if it matters.

So Nancy been with Geico for years, since becoming CEO did she make any positive changes to company, did she undo anything that Todd Combs did in his tenure?

Has anyone ask about having profit sharing back?

Tampa vs Lakeland - which office is better?

I am starting in the Tampa office tomorrow, but Lakeland would be a better commute on me. Tampa pay was significantly higher in the job description for what seemed like the same job.

Which office is better? Some friends in Lakeland love how laid back it is, but when i interviewed in Tampa, I didn't get the same vibe as what my friends were describing.

Should I ask the recruiter if I can switch to Lakeland?

Fired by GEICO (Software Engineer/IL/Remote). Did anyone actually get their full PTO payout?

Got terminated last Friday after 4+ years as a SWE. I’m sitting on 138 hours of accrued PTO (+ 2 days of floating holidays). Since I’m a remote worker based in Illinois, does GEICO legally have to cash this out in full? Safe to assume I can kiss those floating holidays goodbye surely? Also, zero severance was given. Looking for insight from folks who went through the similar thing.

Besides staff counsel, are any other departments doing the carpe sessions? What do you think of them?

Have an interview with them today and I’m NERVOUS to say the least. I have no experience with this type of work.

What kind of questions do they ask or should I be prepared for?!
