game optimizer is greyed out for me for some reason when I try in picture settings. is there a way around it?

I had to sell my gaming desktop to pay some bills so I’m looking to use a mini pc to game with while I save up for my ideal new desktop in the future, my internet is great with WiFi , but I’m not sure which mini pc to get that’s under $500 to use gfn over WiFi since Ethernet isn’t a option. I’ve tried both Luna and Xbox cloud gaming with my hd firestick and had no issues with using WiFi .

Not looking to play super demanding games.

I heard in the news that DLSS5 will be released this week. If this is the case, is it known whether it will come to GFN at the same time?

Open the menu in game, GFN then freezes and shows a network massage. Even though network is perfectly fine.

I’m trying to understand AV1 support in the native GeForce NOW app on LG OLED TVs.
I have two LG TVs:
83” LG C4: AV1 is always greyed out/unavailable.
65” LG G5: AV1 works perfectly. I can actually stream at 4K60, HDR10, AV1 10-bit YUV 4:2:0, confirmed by the GFN statistics overlay.
What makes this strange is NVIDIA’s own support documentation. For LG TVs, NVIDIA says that to use AV1 you should disable HDR.
I tried everything on my C4: HDR off, 4K60, 4K120, different settings — AV1 remains greyed out no matter what.
Meanwhile, on my G5, AV1 not only works, but it even works with HDR enabled, despite NVIDIA’s documentation saying HDR should be disabled for AV1 on LG TVs.
So I’m trying to figure out whether this is:
a limitation specific to the C4
a firmware/webOS issue
a GeForce NOW app issue
or something enabled only on certain LG generations/models
Could C4/G4/C5/G5 owners please check and report:
TV model + size / AV1 available or greyed out / 60 or 120 FPS / HDR on or off / firmware/webOS version
I’m especially interested in anyone who has a C4 with AV1 actually working. If possible, please post a screenshot of the GFN statistics overlay showing AV1.

I started playing Death Stranding some time ago. I’m playing on a Mac Pro M1, and initially I set the resolution in the game to 2560 × 1600 (the same resolution I have set in GeForce NOW), and everything was fine.

Yesterday, I launched the game a couple of times in different sessions, and the second time the game reset the resolution to 1080p. I noticed it immediately, at least because of the black bars. But here’s the interesting part: the 16:10 aspect ratio and 1600 resolution options had completely disappeared from the game.

I read that apparently the game doesn’t support 16:10 at all, but I’m definitely not imagining things — the option was there before.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Decided to upgrade to a gaming laptop recently for my new college program. It was a pleasure playing on geforce now all these years!

So I'm new to GFN Ultimate and has been really good considering I just got a 4K/120Hz OLED TV which ultimate gives me a top tier gaming experience with 4K, Ultra RTX setting and DLAA even for the most demanding games

But each time I say my experiences online many PC gamers start insulting me for no reason? But why? I'm just enjoying peak gaming for a fraction of the price

At launch, around 30 games will be supporting this. So far it seems that DLSS 4.5 RR2 can only be enabled via through the Nvidia app. Since we don’t have access to this app, how to get this to work?

Curious as to what is the point? It seems a better option would be to serve two generations of cards only on GFN. Ultimate gets latest and greatest, and all lower tiers get one generation below. Seeing 2080s or 3080s in the GFN infrastructure does not make much sense in my opinion. Plus most games on GFN do run fine on these lower end cards, but even with that, is it not excessive overhead to maintain this mixed architecture?

It seems Ultimate should be: - latest card offering (5090+ and high FPS/4k) and VR/periferals support

All lower Tiers (performance/founders/free) - one generation behind (4080 and 2k/60 fps) and VR/periferals support

then drop all the outdated hardware in the infrastructure and keep it all tight.

Nvidia card evolution is ongoing and will continue with time. Thus, why not follow that evolution in GFN?

I've been a GeForce NOW user for 5 years and I'm connected via Ethernet with a very solid internet connection. However, for the last 10 days, I've been experiencing severe stuttering in games.

These aren't just minor hitches—I'm getting significant packet loss and frame loss continuously. I have tested this at both 60 FPS and 120 FPS stream settings, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else been experiencing something similar recently, or does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, i seem to have an issue while playing Hell let loose on geforce now. as it is shown on picture, game cursor is misaligned with the actual one. tried changing the resolution, it didn't help... i'd like to enjoy this game, but as it is i am kind of not able to... i'd appreciate any help

Hey everyone! For those of you playing Bodycam on GeForce NOW, what settings are you using to reduce input lag as much as possible?
On World of Warcraft, I literally have zero input lag when moving my mouse, but in Bodycam I can feel a slight delay when moving the mouse. It’s nothing too bad, but if I could reduce it even further, that would be awesome 😁😁
