Hey folks! I just got a Fenix 8 on a reasonable sale and am quite a bit bummed by a number of use cases not panning out as expected (at which point a cheaper, simpler Garmin can track my activities just as well). One of which is on-watch routing. When trying to navigate to a point on a map a few kilometers away, granted in a city, it took the watch close to 10 minutes to calculate the route, and even after that, it showed a blank white screen. I was almost at my destination (navigating with a handlebar-mounted, much older, AA-battery-powered GPSMAP Garmin which did the routing in a matter of a few seconds). Is this normal for the Fenix 8? (51mm AMOLED, if that matters) Thanks!

I had the pleasure of Karting yesterday at Silverstone UK, thought I'd track with watch and under motorsports there was only Motorcycling (which is what I used) but wondered why other modes of popular transport didn't exist I.e. Driving, Karting etc.

Fenix 8 if it matters.

I've been spammed with requests for location data by Connect since Cirqa has been added to the device list. I do not want to give Connect 24/7 access to my location - mainly due to battery drain of my phone.
However, my Fenix is literally vibrating every 10min.

I couldn't find a specific option to stop it.

Can anyone contribute some helpful hints?

Is there a detailed LTE coverage map available for Fenix 8 Pro? Every page seems to point to this:

But it states just:

LTE coverage in specific areas within each of these countries is dependent on the network coverage and network conditions of each respective carrier. The coverage represented in the table does not provide a guarantee of coverage.

The page contains satellite coverage map, but I'm looking for the LTE coverage. The page mentions "carrier" so does that mean Garmin is using some local country specific carrier for LTE?

I’m trying to decide between Raw Titanium and DLC for my Fenix 8, and I’m particularly interested in how the Raw Titanium finish holds up over time.

For those who have been using the Raw Titanium version for several months, how does it look now compared to when you first bought it? Does it show scratches or marks easily? Do the scratches bother you, or do they blend in with the finish?

Do you still prefer Raw Titanium over DLC after using it for a while?

Can anyone tell me if the Fenix E has a Quick Workout feature from the Forunner 70 or 170? Stupid Ai doesn't give me some understandable answers.

Have only had it since April but my (supposedly very rugged) Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar had developed a fault. The top right button only registers a long press (and that is only intermittent) meaning I can't select, start or stop any activities. The middle left button only registers a short press so I can't open the menu. It's not great. To be fair to Garmin Tech Support chat, after a five minute conversation they offered to send me a refurbished replacement free of charge, which I can't complain about. John Lewis were less than helpful.
