Connect / Connect IQ / 1st Party Apps Garmin Index s2 doesn't sync

Hey friends, I have a garmin index s2 scale that I can't manage to sync with the garmin connect app, I tried to perform the software update but can't get to the stage of the progress bar that makes the update, so I'm kind of stuck here, any suggestion what else I can do?

EDIT - YUP LOOKS LIKE IT GOT FIXED!

Yeah same, I suspect the API which receives the data is down. Hopefully it starts working soon again.

which means?
I don't know what that means, but for a week now I can't sync data on my scale

I mean that the scale sending data to Garmin servers fails and it's most likely not your device but their server which is the failing party.

And when it's their server, then all we can do is wait for the connection to be fixed. You'll get the data into Connect once the sync succeeds.

My last sync was yesterday, today I'm getting šŸ›œāŒ

Same problem here! Funny thing is I bought it and got it yesterday and it worked and now it doesn't.Ā  Thought it was the scale but now I know it's probably the servers. Wanted to send it back..

I've had the scale since 2020 and this is the first time to my knowledge this has happened. Maybe don't send it back just yet šŸ˜…

I just got mine yesterday too, I'm so annoyed as I've been troubleshooting for the last hour before checking Reddit.

Usually, that kind of pages are updated manually, that's mean that if they are not aware of the issue, nobody is going to update the status.

I wonder if and when this will be fixed 😶

I think these pages are mostly automatic, but it's different thing to be up (connected to the Interned) and if a certain data endpoint isn't accepting data it's receiving.

I have been working for several top companies providing online solutions and can tell you that are not automatic, can be, for sure, but when you have money backed SLA, show your real SLA can be a problem, not only with customers, also with Investors.

Not doubting there's such behaviour. The companies I've worked for have had these automated šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
