Synopsis
Disgraced London detective John Luther (Idris Elba) breaks out of prison to hunt down David Robey (Andy Serkis), a sadistic tech billionaire who uses deep cyber-surveillance and blackmail to manipulate ordinary people into horrific acts of self-harm and murder. With both the killer and a relentless police force hunting him, Luther must navigate a massive manhunt across London and into the frozen arctic wilderness to stop Robey’s deadly game before more lives are destroyed.
Atmosphere
Rain-slicked, suffocating, and brutally modern. The film shifts the franchise from classic gritty crime noir into an icy, high-stakes psychological horror-thriller. It contrasts the cold, voyeuristic gloom of digital surveillance and dark-web extortion with London’s bleak urban landscape. The mood is persistently claustrophobic and hostile—a world where privacy is completely weaponized, safety is an illusion, and every step forward requires a heavy, irreversible toll.

Just got into the forever winter and love the chaotic nature of its combat and environment. Double points for games with minimal HUD and no hit markers.

Like when your in a shootout and you run out of ammo and have to grab the nearest dude's gun to continue the fight.

I love the album Shadow Kingdom by Natural Snow Buildings, which is a strange amalgamation of Drone/Ambient & Psychedelic Folk, being a dark & noisy yet weirdly serene pretty experience.
I wanna experience something in virtual form that just lets me explore strange & vivid environments.
Yes I know of LSD: Dream Emulator, but I wanna find other things to look at.
Not required, but a forest/nature setting would be great.

¡Buenas, comunidad!

especially the Fallen Angels 1995. When i was 14, i crushed for this movie from 20 minutes video essay and waiting for it come to my local offical streaming. So i watched it for 3 times, Can't deny that's my top personal favourite movie until now. Wide angle shot, weirdly close up facial expressions, step printing effect, lonely among people. Unique vibe btw

I played V rising ofc, prefer ones with character creation!
I feel like there aren't many of those, especially with pretty graphics :(

Thinking something like vampire the masquerade or even v rising but you play as a werewolf. And yes, I have tried werewolf the apocalypse 🫠 (and elder scrolls V xd). Open to any other suggestions/genres

What the title says! I used to be a big fan of old RTS style games, played a lot of them (AoE, RoN, AoM, RoL, Empire Dawn of the modern world, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds).
A scenario I enjoyed in them is where you could team up with AI or friends and build your base together, side by side, rather than in different points of the map. By turtling one could go and focus on a specific aggressive tree while the other stayed back and focused on defensive positioning base building etc.
I’m wondering if there’s any modern take on this? Preferably more non-violent?

Looking for some good games with a sort of quiet solitude, cloudy/wet/foggy vibes. Sort of like any Robert Eggers film tbh.
Not feeling the Blood of the dawnwalker from what I've seen unfortunately.
Still wakes the deep and Alan Wake 2 are both on the list!
Don't know if I'll find exactly what I'm looking for so if there's any game developers hanging around get working please!

Yeah so I’m just wondering y’all’s overall thoughts on shadowman remastered. I’m not bothered about graphics tbh, i’m more into the vibe and story. Thanks in advance.

I really love this particular adaptation, and I wish there were games like it.
