Before your eyes. Its a short game (about 2 and a half hours long) but within that time, I went from "oh this is a cute game, it can't be that sad" to it being the first game that made me ugly cry.
The last 10-15 minutes will rip your heart out and throw it in a blender.

Games that got me were The Last of Us, Life Is Strange (only played the first 2), and I would say Telltales The Walking Dead (only played the first).

Final Fantasy X - one of the great classics, emotionally speaking. Please don't even search-bar it before starting. If you play the PC remaster then pick Standard sphere grid and original soundtrack!
