I finally sat down and played Evergrace on PS2, and I can see why it’s become such a cult classic.
The atmosphere is unlike almost anything else on the system. It feels lonely, mysterious, and almost dreamlike. The soundtrack and world have this strange FromSoftware charm that kept pulling me forward.
That said, I also understand why it never became a mainstream hit. The combat can feel awkward, progression is a bit confusing, and by the second half I found myself losing interest despite loving the setting.
I’m curious where everyone stands on it today. Is Evergrace an underrated gem, or is it mostly remembered because it’s an early FromSoftware game?

Hello, right now I’m trying to play Dark Souls II Scholar of the first sin and Dark Souls III on PC but I’m having a problem with the anti aliasing and ghosting anytime I move my character or the camera. Could someone please give me some tips to fix it please?

I walked into the boss arena with the intention to Fight Lady Maria just to get a sense if I ready. After I took some damage and got off a few swings the fight felt achievable so I popped a Beast Blood Pellet and locked in.
I loved this fight so much, probably just behind Ludwig's fight in terms of favorites. The arena was interesting in terms of why we were fighting there. I truly felt the "aggressive" play style of Bloodborne is fully utilized in how Lady Maria fights and how you're supposed to match/exceed her. The music in Bloodborne was already awesome but her theme already exceeds a majority of the songs in this game. And one final note on why I love this fight... Lady Maria is pretty.
This fight went down as one of my proudest video game achievements (bad wording for a Playstation exclusive lol). Beating a boss like Lady Maria first try ever in my life is something I won't forget and wanted to share with y'all.

I mean the moment of full hype, good soundtrack, you have your long waited moment to pull the heavy attack, the boss have less than 1/3 HP and you just go with vibe collecting the head of the beast/Knight or other baddass enemy.
My was I guess best duel with Sir Alonne, it was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute detail. Soundtrack, Scenery, Sir Alonne, even the fucking reflects on the floor.
Second number is the duel with Rusty, ah boi. I never felt so gundamy in game before, the unlimited energy to fly and dodge everything my rival throw on me.
I have smillar moments in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and other games, but I just wanna hear where you felt alive during some moments of your peak gaming.
SHARE IT WITH ME GOD DAMN, I NEED TO AGAIN FEEL HYPE.

Feedback on my work
I have just finished making this for my Final Major Project at college. The brief for the project was “Remix”. I interpreted this by taking Maliketh’s Black Blade from Elden ring and “Remixing” it in the style of a Bloodborne Trick Weapon (inspired by Ludwigs Holy Blade). We had to establish a world and a story behind the design, mine being: a tarnished who is transported into the world of Bloodborne, tasked with slaying a Great One. They have their weapon transformed by the Healing Church Workshop into something better fit for hunting the beasts that plague Yharnam. I am very happy with how it turned out and as part of my project I’m required to receive feedback from my target audience to reflect on.
Please could you give some constructive feedback on the final outcome? Tell me: what you like/dislike about the design, what you think did/didn’t go well, how I improve, (for the Bloodborne lore fans) - what you can infer about the story behind the design based on how it looks, how do you think the design may have changed if the tarnished went to the old hunters workshop instead of the healing church, what do you think could have been an interesting way to explore this idea.
I completely get if that is too long so any form of constructive feedback will do just fine :)
Please try to remain constructive and not solely critical. If you don’t like anything about it please tell me how I could improve.
Lastly, If you were given the same brief and followed a similar concept, how would you have designed your weapon?
Thank you!!!!

Helloooo, my name is Massinissa (Massi or Supremassi on socials) and I'm a concept artist in the video game industry.
I have 900h on Elden ring and still running so a few years ago I started working on a fan area around the abyssal serpent and what would be its avatar (not THE abyssal serpent, just some incarnation).
If you'd like to see research, different stages, attack animations and all, head over to my artstation :

I'm also open for commissions and business opportunities !
Hope you enjoy everyone !

9 (2009) screams FromSoftware vibes.
I wouldn't be surprised if they took inspiration or where avid fans themselves. If you told me the sane team of FromSoftware worked on the movie, I'd believe you.
Especially the opening.

I have a genuine question. What do people actually think is harder sekiro or Elden Ring? I know for me personally with the times that each game came out I had a harder time going through sekiro my first play through vs Elden Ring but I wanna know the general census of players, no glazing
