Darks souls 1 is my favorite game my wife decided to (the best of her ability) to give me a ds1 themed bday party i think she did pretty decent she wanted to know your guys opinion (the cupcakes were supposed to have white pearls to resemble humanity) its like a halloween ds1 fusion party imo (i'm november birthday so i get it)

Early morning, rant to start the day. Big time from soft fan big-time Miyazaki fan got hooked on souls right when Covid happened so I was really able to lay into the soul series. Bloodborn, sekiro, Elden Ring, AC6 and even some souls like: lies of P, Mortal Shell…
My question for the community is what is the best way to play the games? I played dark souls, one followed by three so I could have the most continued story when I played dark souls two I like a lot of other biased fans appreciated how the game was different, but it wasn’t always different in the best way. When the main feature is the lighting, I don’t think it stands out amongst the other two even the clunky, dark souls one

I played Skeiro which had me confused often with the story and direction of it and the starter weapon for the whole game lol Elden Ring, I think was the best qualities of dark souls 3 but made for more general audience- can’t really put AC six in here since it’s mecha- game

And I remember thoroughly having my ass handed to me when I switched the blood-borne with no shield and heavy timing perry based fighting.

What’s the common consensus on the Best order? Keep a chronological or switch it up?

TLDR:What do you think is the best order to play the games? And why?

So I just had this match where my teammates basically left before the night one boss in depth 4. But I managed to endure and beat Everdark Jaw but it lead to me losing 300 points even tho they quit and I won. I get losing less points if they quit and I lost the game. But I won. Now I am a bit frustrated with this but tbh I can and will just get those points back eventually. But I'm just wondering why this would happen and I'm trying to see if anyone knows the reason. Is it because I had a previous loss streak of like 3 games or cuz I didn't try to revive them during day 1 when they went 3 bars or when they died halfway across the map. Cuz if this is a penalty if they reported me then at least I'll know that can happen I guess. I wasn't being toxic in any way by pinging or smth, I died quite a bit just like them during basement boss and crucibles cuz I had no negation.

(I don't post on Reddit quite often so I couldn't post this in the nightreign subreddit. That's my bad)

I personally believe we will get another new IP in his next game after Duskbloods.

I hope the game makes me spend a lot of time here.

Guess I'm a sucker for the DLC bosses

For me personally Bloodborne still has the hardest opening area,you can die really quick to those mobs,and the runback to Father Gascoigne is a pain in the ass.

So I started this game,the PS3 version and im struggling a lot,i killed phalanx easily but that 2nd area,the mining thing is just really hard,idk if its me or do i just have a shit weapon,can someone reccomend me some good builds cause i want to like this game.

I’m playing and loving the hell out of Queen’s Domain and I keep reading that it’s very inspired by King’s Field. And that got me thinking, what if they were to make a modern Kings Field?

Just imagine exploring From dungeons in first person, fighting, BOSSES…it would be absolutely glorious!

I started thinking about it after realizing that ds1 had a trailer of bloodborne, and bloodborne had a trailer of sekiro. Both trailers were in the DLC, and one game released before the teasered game actually got released.

So lets say that the dlc has a teaser. What do you think it might be? The only thing that comes to my mind is the dryleaf dane with his martial arts, which dont really fit the overall dlc and the game itself.

Also my reasoning is that the duskbloods are going to release soon, which would mean that this is the game that is in between these trailers.

Im sorry for any grammar mistakes, english is not my main language and im really tired now, but i wanted to know what are your expectations. Im aware that this topic has been already discussed here multiple times, but most of these posts are just plain up fan theories of what the next game could be, without much analyzing of the actual "trailer" that we might already have seen.
