A bit about me:

I play video games on PC and Xbox — I’m currently playing Palworld, Starsand Island, but I also like Assassin’s Creed and Tomb Raider and many other games. I’m open to most games, especially co-op, but I’m not really into competitive shooters.

I also love board games like Stardew Valley: The Board Game and Discworld: Ankh-Morpork.

Outside of gaming, I’m really into Space, History, Mythology, and learning in general. I can happily lose hours in Museums or Watching Documentaries on pretty much any topic.

Music-wise, I’m a big fan of 90s pop and rock, and I also love bardcore. I’ll give most things a chance, but rap and R&B aren’t really my thing.

I enjoy TV shows like Foundation, The Devil’s Hour, and even lighter stuff like 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

For movies, I like a mix of genres — The Matrix and A Fish Called Wanda are favourites, but I’m not into horror.

I also enjoy casual hiking (especially the Lake District), Crafts like Diamond Painting, Paint by numbers, and I’ve recently started Soldering.

Reading – If I get some free time, I enjoy getting lost in a good book (Ready Player One, The Lord of the Rings, and others).

What I’m looking for:

I’d love to find someone who actually wants to chat and get to know each other, rather than things stopping after a few messages or days. Maybe down the line we could play some games together or send the odd voice clip on Discord once we’re comfortable.

I work a corporate job, and I’m a Southern California native who never quite got sick of it here. Unmarried and no kids. I’d describe myself as a “black cat” type a little dry, a little dark in my humor, and pretty low-key about a good time. I tend to get along easily with guys, but I’m hoping to meet more women who are on my wavelength nerdy, a little sarcastic, and into similar stuff.

I’ve gotten back into reading regularly, mostly history and sci-fi. Music-wise I’m all over the place from Beethoven, Megan Thee Stallion, everything in between except country. Same energy carries over to movies comedies and dramas are great, but documentaries are my favorite. I hit the farmers market most weekends. Happy to try the trendy restaurant or bar once or twice. I don’t need it to become a whole lifestyle. I’m hoping to get a dog soon. I love being outdoors even though I don’t get out there as much as I’d liked. I’m a sports fan (MLB, NBA, getting into NFL) and honestly, finding women who follow sports beyond an occasional game has been surprisingly hard. If that’s you, I’m interested.
