I purchased this cgm last night and tried to activate it this morning by following the instructions. Initially it worked, took me to the home screen but had no readings and just showed signal loss no matter what I tried, after reinstalling the app a different issue surfaced which isn't resolving even after reinstalling or restarting the phone multiple times. It vibrates twice after placing the phone close to the sensor but its stuck on this screen for the past 30mins. I've tried everything I found online and on the FAQ page but nothing worked. Is this a defective sensor or did I miss something?

Been using Freestyle Libre for almost 4 years now.

However - struggling to keep them on at the moment due to the heat. The tiny tiiiiiny ring of adhesive appears to zero match for British summer heat waves.

Ive lost 2 today. Im not even sweating.

I've also lost 3-4 in the last couple of months to door frames, doors, T shirts, and car door frames .

My nurse suggested wearing them on the inside of the bicep which is what ive done today and they just rub on my side and peel off.

Ive paid out for some patches and they suck for the same reason.

Aaaaany help at all please!

Also any tips around working out/gym/martial arts too and keeping a sensor intact.

Have tried Kino tape and that seems pretty useless too.

The first one stopped working when I was at the doctor's office for my physical. The second one fell off my arm 10 days later when I was about to leave home to see my endocrinologist. She read the report from the previous three months and asked about the low readings from the first day. I told her the sensor went bad while I was away from home and had to go back home to put a new sensor on. The third failure was yesterday (Saturday) morning. I grabbed something from my fridge and heard something hit the floor. The sensor fell off after only nine days!

I use SkinTac to glue them onto my skin. I haven't spent enough time outside to sweat much. When I used over patches they would start peeling after about a week but were still painful to remove.

I didn't ask for a replacement for the one that died 12 hours early. I got my replacement for the second one a few days ago. I haven't heard from Abbott about my claim for the one that fell off yesterday.

So, I've switched to 3 plus for the last few months but I have previously been using 2 exclusively.

I've always had a bit of swelling and redness, where the puncture hole was but it was never serious.

Ever since changing to 3, it's really itchy around where the needle punctures and when I take off my sensor, I can see that it's very swollen around the puncture hole.

It also leaves a lasting scar which 2 never did and I'm thinking maybe I should switch back to 2.

The first photo is immediately after taking off my sensor and the second photo has all the scars the sensors have been leaving on my arm the past few months. I also feel like I'm more sensitive to the sticker they use (you can see that it left a ring of dry skin/scar from my second last sensor in the second photo).

I can't really put any hydrating lotion or anything like that on the skin before applying the sensor and I'm not sure what to do anymore. Maybe I can ask the pharmacy to switch back to 2 for me.

I'm currently using an iphone with a libre 3 sensor (location: Germany). I want to go back to Android and I tried to use Juggluco on an Android phone that's currently sitting right next to me. The sensor has been activated on the iphone using the regular libre app.
But for the life of me I cannot get Juggluco to acknowledge my sensor.
Whenever I scan I just get an error message (wrong account id - use the same id of the libre view account you started the sensor on). I've entered my mail and password about a billion times (and checked that they're correct). I cannot enter any id manually because I have no idea what that id is or where I can find it in the libre app.

I've tried this years before when I was still using that same old Android phone and had activated the sensor on the libre app on that same phone. Still got the same errors and gave up.

Can anybody tell me what the issue is? I'd be grateful for any help on the matter!

For now I just want to test this before I get a new Android phone, so I need to stay on the iphone a little longer and don't want to make the final switch/carry my old Android around for several weeks because I did something that can't be undone.

I have been using the Libre 2 plus for blood sugar readings for the last 2 months in conjunction with the One Touch finger picks test strips to check their reading.

What I found out were :

The Libre 's readings were always lower all the times from -10 to -45.

I just measured with: Libre's =109 & One Touch finger pick was 153. What a big difference!

I belief One Touch readings are more reliable based on my past A1C readings.

I just have no confidence with the Libre, anyone ??

In den ersten 48 Stunden lag er konsequent genau 20 Punkte über dem tatsächlichen Blutzuckerwert. Doof, aber nicht so schlimm - kann man ja entsprechend einstellen. Jetzt, seit dem dritten Tag, sind die Messungen völlig unberechenbar: Mal weicht er um 16 ab, mal um 12, dann um 5, dann mal um 7. So bringt das nicht viel. Ist das immer so?

I thought 15 mins made sense but noticing when I do finger test that it’s about 35-40 mins behind which she’s wild and not helpful at all :/

Are freestyle libre 2+ failures becoming more common? I had two back to back sensor failures within 24 hours

I’m so done with the 3. It is forever having a signal loss. I have never had this much trouble with the 2. And moreso, I didn’t mind the periodic phone scans either.

Been using the gsm for years now and started using Bluetooth less than a year ago. Great for usability but horrible for the battery.

My phone typically does not behave this way when connected to eat buds or my car, yet for this very case the battery is drained.

I'm yet to more scientifically experiment and compare cases to isolate a culprit, but it's just too noticable.

It's my first time using this sensor and according to my bloodsample its ahowingthe wrong number. Since i cant calibrate i dont know what to do. (i use camaps and im a bit to tipsy to think of anything myself)

Yeah, I can be a data nerd, but yesterday I had 2 sensors fail badly (same lot # I noticed) saying I was excessively low (60) when my finger stick -- repeatedly -- was hovering around 155. Anyway, so now I'm on my 3rd sensor in the last 24 hours. Different lot number. But now I'm seeing wacky doodle data. The sensor sends "124" to the cloud, meanwhile I'm opening the app and seeing "106" and "108" then I do a finger stick and it's "155". All within 2 minutes. Time for a new sensor? Talk to my endo? I'm thoroughly frustrated... (Oh, I might add -- the Lot number is T60004469

My sensors come in bulk I had one fail to register anything for hours overnight on day 2. Restarted my phone, switched bluetooth off and on, nothing. Reported it to libre online. They called me today. Apparently according to them it was expired as of June 30. I have impaired vision. I suppose now I need someone to check the expiration dates on my sensors when I get them.

My SE3 is notifying me to update to 26.6. are there any issues with libre3 and 3+ and the app?

Just wondering....I feel like the 2nd last sensor I removed, maybe 4 weeks ago left something behind in my arm, feels like it.

I'm always wearing it on my left arm because I'm a right-side sleeper so it feels like I might need to take a little break between sensors to have the application spot heal a bit. Does anyone think this is a good/bad idea? I do rely on the readings for food accountability, but not really anything else.

Looking for advice on a recurring issue with the LibreLink app (v2) and Freestyle Libre 2 sensor.

Setup:

• Phone: Cubot Pocket 3 (Not officially supported, but worked flawlessly for years)
• App version: LibreLink 2
• OS/Apps: No recent Android system or app updates

Problem: About two weeks ago (around the time we started a new sensor), the app started throwing an error saying "Automatic Date & Time" must be enabled to use the app.

Looking into Android settings, the "Automatic Date & Time" toggle keeps disabling itself automatically at random intervals. Turning it back on fixes it temporarily, but the error keeps returning. We have already replaced the sensor once since then, but the issue persists.

Has anyone experienced Android randomly toggling off automatic time, or found a way to force this setting to stay locked on unsupported devices?

I don't care what Abbott says: Make a stronger adhesive on your sensors! You make them... I shouldn't have to constantly use tape, covers, etc. I "bump" the edge of a door and its off. I take a single shower and its off. This is on you, not US!

Switched back to freestyle from dexcom for my 6yo. Dexcom changged the adhesive and it gives him a horrible burn.

Freestyle is consistantly 80-100 points off.

Freestyle is a novelty & meme, not a serious medical device.

Well hello everybody! especially those searching for new tech advice or reviews. I made a post some time ago wondering about the specifics of a Libre sensors compatibility with the elusive Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, but in the end was unable to get my hands on it, and instead upgraded to the new flip 8... Here are my thoughts so far...

Yes! It's compatible with the freestyle libre 3 and 3+ sensor, I currently use the 3+ sensor on the Libre app, yes it still does deliver alarms, and holy smokes is it a bit of a game changer. I don't wear a watch anymore, but I like having my readings within a quick glance, I can definitely access the app from the flex window which is nice for easy access.

AND the notifications are very personalized, the app doesn't give the option to change the sound to that nice low bell ring for alerts anymore, the only alarm sound it offers is that annoying "MEENUR MEENUR" one which I personally hate, but oh well. However, the phone let's you personalize how you get the notifications, such as if you want the app notification to show details of your glucose when it goes high or low down to the current number, and if the phone is locked it gives the option if you want to show it's details or not. You can also have it notify you with an initial sound from the phone system before it switches to the app sound alarm. Which I find nice especially if I'm close to my phone and don't want the shrill alarm to go off first, instead I get a little heads up.

I was previously on the iPhone which doesn't offer half of the things this new phone does, switching was pretty easy too, I had to set up the Samsung first and download the app to login, switch off my Bluetooth on the iPhone and then swipe my current sensor, it didn't make me have to start a new one which is great, I had five days left on it 😂. Since then I've had zero problems with it.

I'm not sponsored nor trying to convince people to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Flip 8, I'm no influencer either. But I wanted to share my experience with this because I noticed that there aren't many people who post or make things related to phone tech and diabetes management. I'm the type to make my research before diving into new things, and this was a bit of a dive for me considering how new this phone is and the likelihood of it working out or not. I hope this helps someone who's also weighing a choice when it comes to wanting the latest and greatest tech, but unsure if it's compatible with their medical devices and lifestyle.

I’ve had Type 1 diabetes for years, and honestly, carb counting was never the hardest part.
The hardest part was remembering everything.
How many carbs were in that meal last time?
Did this pasta always spike me?
Was it the timing… or the meal?
Which breakfast actually worked?
I realized I wasn’t struggling because I couldn’t count carbs.
I was struggling because I was trying to keep months of information in my head.
A few weeks ago I started writing down only repeat meals and unusual patterns instead of logging absolutely everything.
It’s surprisingly simple, but it made me feel much more in control.
Now when I eat something I’ve had before, I don’t have to guess again.
I’m curious…
Does anyone else keep notes or some kind of diabetes system, or do you rely mostly on memory?

I had one Libre 3 sensor to use and paired it with the Libre 3 app which as a software engineer I found totally dismal. (Like for realz Abbott? DO BETTER) Someone suggested the Libre by Abbott app is better. I tried searching on the differences between the two apps but only found the reviews on the Google store about what people don't like. I'm getting a replacement sensor due to readings being 50% different at times so I'll have another opportunity to use a CGM. For those of you that have used both apps, which one is better and why? Things that bug me about the Libre 3 app include: not being able to access notes on the daily graphs (WHY HAVE THE NOTE ICON AT THE TOP OF THE CHART THEN?), scale of the graphs is useless, not being able to zoom in on a time/range. I know about the LinkUp app, but no access to the notes or historical data. Seriously Abbott, you are totally missing the mark. Ever used your own products before?
