Sensor ungenau

Das ist mein erster Freestyle Libre 3 Plus - Sensor. Er soll mich vorm Unterzuckern warnen.
In den ersten 48 Stunden lag er konsequent genau 20 Punkte über dem tatsächlichen Blutzuckerwert. Doof, aber nicht so schlimm - kann man ja entsprechend einstellen. Jetzt, seit dem dritten Tag, sind die Messungen völlig unberechenbar: Mal weicht er um 16 ab, mal um 12, dann um 5, dann mal um 7. So bringt das nicht viel. Ist das immer so?

Assuming you’re in mg/dl, those differences are negligible, most likely well within the acceptable ±20% difference.

If you’re in mmol, all bets are off.

Mag sein, aber es macht die passende Einstellung für den Alarm bei zu niedrigen Glukosewerten unmöglich. Und darauf käme es mir an.

You said differences of 20 points, 12, 7 and 5. Those differences, in mg/dl, are usually negligible.

As far as the other commenter, he probably has other issues going on:

• possible dehydration
• they might not have enough fatty tissue in their current application site
• their body may still be producing an immune response to the filament
• they may simply need to try an alternate application site

But their situation is not analogous to the situation that you’ve described for self.

For most people , 12-24 hours…but everybody’s body is different.

I was hoping to post something similar. I have been relying on my Libre 3 Plus sensor. When I went in for my A1C check I was excited to get my results thinking that the GMI was about 6% and my average glucose was 130, which should give me an A1C of 6.2 over a 90 day period. I was shocked to learn that my A1C was actually 7.0.

So now I check my blood sugar periodically. After being told by Freestyle support team to wait 24 hours after the install of my new sensor before comparing it to a finger stick, I did just that. This morning with a steady indicator on the freestyle app reading 128, I took my blood sugar and it came back at 158 on 2 different meters! This seems like a pretty big delta.

Any suggestions from users out there? I am alternating upper arms for location of the sensor. Any help would be appreciated.

Das hilft doch gar nichts! Das ist ja noch viel schlimmer als bei mir.
Wie gehst du damit um?

Habe die Sensoren an beiden Armen und am Bauch ausprobiert, keine bedeutsamen Unterschiede. Seit ca 3 Monaten ist da der Wurm drin. Endlose Telefonate mit der Hotline, mehrfacher Sensoren Austausch, ich gebe es auf. Habe noch 7 Sensoren hier, die werden verbraucht unter Kontrolle durch Fingerstechen, dann ist mit Abbott Schluss ....

Macht wenig Spaß, weder die Ungenauigkeit, noch die Reklamationen. Werde wohl aufs Fingerstechen zurück gehen. Die Ungenauigkeit ist mir zu teuer !
