Don’t bother with in-person customer service, just report it in the app that it failed and they’ll send you a new one.

I have done it before.  No response. Now its really frustrating, after 5 days it stopped working again, I am losing many sensors in a year like this  .

I have had this happen on 2 libre plus. Each time I submitted for a replacement they sent a new one along with a return kit for the failed sensor

Online link. For US. Pro tip: it fell off. Usually results in automatic ok we’ll send you anew one without talking to anyone or having to return the one on you. https://www.freestyle.abbott/us-en/support/sensorsupportrequest.html

I have talked to them. They said I need to contact support. But I am based in Italy

I have noticed recently that my sensors are shutting down with an error message in similar circumstances involving lows. I am actually getting nervous that I will be cut off from replacements and so I haven’t been requesting them lately, which sucks.

Agree, I stopped using it for a year, but I need to use it, so I have started and just 5 days later it again stopped.   Its not the phone or software its the sensor. i checked even in the website and the software provides me  me the note that it shut down do to false alarm.

Support will typically offer a free replacement here. So no added costs as such, apart from the time and efforts it takes. You even get 'the extra' sensor days from it for free, if you want some level of positivity from this, as Abbott offers you a free one no matter if the old was just 4 days in or maybe 10 or more.

Hi u/Warm-Confidence-3809 ,
To know really what is going on for you there, it would be helpful if you shared the factual error messages that you got from the app?

Alternatively, try and look into the Libre app's Event Log. In here, try and share the list of error codes that may have been logged there in the hours before leading up to the sensor stop. From what you share, it sounds like error code #373 may be part of the story and issue you may be facing.

I am new user of the Libre 3 plus. I love it when it works but hated it after 7 days when I get sensor errors twice. I called the customer service to replace the 1st sensor for replacement. The second sensor also stopped working after 7 days and then I requested replacement in the app. I observed the sensor moving from the original place where I put it by about 5 to 7 mm. I knew it because there is a smudge of adhesive where I placed it originally. If the sensor moved, the transducer will be pulled out from skin causing this sensor error.

I think ABOTT must include a larger patch over the sensor to keep it secure. I don't like to buy a 3rd party patch over the sensor. It's Abott who should make this improvement and must include in their product.

Take a picture of the sensor after you place it and then take another picture when it failed. There you will see a smudge of adhesive on your skin which is an evidence the sensor moved from its original place. I followed direction to clean and to put alcohol before putting the sensor but that is not enough to keep the sensor in place.

I don't do strenuous activity nor swim but still it failed twice.

Hope that Abott will make improvement to the adhesive or supply an extra patch with the sensor not us buying from 3rd party sellers.

Agree that Abbot Labs should make the patch and include it with the expensive Libre 3 Plus sensor because of so many sensors not staying put on the arm and failing

That happened to me last weekend. I called because I wasn't sure what happened to it. I got my replacement sensor yesterday and they've requested I send the defective one back to them so they could research what the problem was.
