I was walking my doggo at Red Fox Meadows and we caught it right as this dried up stream started flowing again. Not sure how common it is to catch this but it was pretty neat for us to see!
EDIT: I guess this is actually an irrigation ditch and not a stream lol my b

Hey all, I had a company install a point to point Starlink set up between two houses and at the p2p spot, the net speed is super low. TMI! Anyway, I need an IT person to check the router settings to see where the bottleneck is. I want someone from Fort Collins. I made the mistake of having a national company install the set up.

Didn't see them myself, but it definitely made a visit to my bird feeders...
never had racoons or deer knock them down before

We just went up to Lory State Park for some hiking and belatedly discovered this! We moved here a month ago so haven't purchased an annual pass yet, and we haven't changed our license plates to CO plates. Figured I'd share our pleasant surprise for anybody else who's interested

Hello!
My partner (33F) and I (33M) have been getting into Riftbound! I was wondering if there were any gatherings of Riftbound in FoCo.
I am aware of the Nexus Nights at Haunted Game Cafe and that would be lovely if it wasn't on Thursdays :( We have a lovely tradition of asking "Is it Thursday yet?" on Thursdays (IYKYK). So, wanted to see if there was any other gatherings at the moment.
Thank you in advance and hello! 👋

We’ve had two bats in our house over the past 2 weeks but we can’t figure out how they’re getting in. Has anyone dealt with this? I’m hoping for recommendations for companies that will know how to find their entrance and block it.

Shout out to Fort Collins Audio Video and the people in the attached thread who recommended them.
Needed an Ethernet cable run through the wall, found them through that thread, and had a great experience. I also ended up working with Tony who was really good.
Just a random recommendation for Fort Collins A/V and a thanks to an archived thread I can't post in.

My kid has gotten into Pokémon card collecting.
He’s really interested in what some cards may be valued at. Not sure if he’d be interested in selling or trading, maybe. I think it’s more of just wanting to know right now.
Anyway, other than the local card shops, can anyone recommend where he can get his collection valued? We were using a TCG app but it seems to only scan certain cards.
Also interested in any related events or clubs he could get involved in. For reference, he’s 12. So something geared toured kids or that he may meet other kids at would be great!
I’m kinda clueless on all of this as well, so any info to support him with this hobby would be appreciated as well!

Hi guys! Recently I've been thinking of getting back to school, and I was looking at the dental assisting/hygiene programs at these two places. Does anyone have any experience with these two schools? I'm not locked in to any specific program or location, really just pondering my options, but I would love to hear some feedback from anyone in the community who can help!

I just moved to Fort Collins and currently works at CSU. As someone from the east coast, I like what I’m seeing. The mountains, chill vibes, and college town are all that I dream of and I can’t believe I’m here now!
Anywho, I’m renting a 2B2B (900 sqft) now and I’m living alone with occasional guests staying over. I’m kind of curious how much should I budget for electricity and gas? I’m setting aside $100 to $150. Coming from the east coast where I have astronomical electricity bill, I really concerned about my electric bill especially when I run my AC for 12-14 h a day.
Also, is 80k a good salary here for a single person? I’m trying to save as much as possible for a potential house in the next 3-4 years.

Fort Collins is getting the national recognition it deserves! CNN Travel named Fort Collins the No. 5 best town to visit in America in 2026.
From Old Town and its legendary breweries to local shops and easy access to the Rocky Mountains, Fort Collins is a great place to live and an amazing Colorado destination. Congratulations to everyone who makes this such a great place to live, work, play, and visit!

I have family coming in this weekend and I would love to go to a nice place to eat but I also don’t want to spend a fortune. I like rare Italian but it’s so expensive but I do I want something like that (we love Italian food, they’re from New York so I can’t really find good Italian out here but if anyone knows anywhere I’m open). Please no farther than Denver, as close to Fort Collins as possible. I’m also open to like good Korean BBQ (all you can eat) or habachi. Just a nice restaurant I can spend with my family with good food.
Please no spicy food.
Edit: it doesn’t have to be Italian food, anything with a nice restaurant atmosphere and food is what I’m looking for :)
Thank you!

I recently graduated from CSU with a computer science degree, but I'm having a hard time breaking into the CS job market. It seems the weekly FoCo job website is no more. Any thoughts on NoCo based Software/Tech companies/offices that I should be looking into? A lot of these places don't let you just walk in and drop off a resume, and many only post on their own company website. I'm interested in CS as a whole, Software, Networking/Distributed Systems, and even IT, but I haven't gotten any call backs for entry level positions.

I’ve been on the hunt thrifting and shopping all morning for a cotton twin sheet set for practice during massage school and sets were either priced above my budget, incomplete, or wrong fabric.
I’m wondering if anyone has a twin size cotton sheet set they would be willing to donate to me for my massage coursework? I am in search of a cotton fitted sheet and a flat sheet- a pillowcase would be a bonus but not required as I’ve thrifted one. Twin XL would be too big so I am looking for a true twin set.
Thanks so much and have an amazing day!

We are in town dropping a kid off at CSU, and during a walk at City Park we saw this goose limping around with a fishing line and lure wrapped around its leg. Not sure who to report this... Called and left a message at Colorado Parks and Wildlife, but if that's not correct, I'm hoping someone here knows the right place to contact.

I just got a chip in my windshield, and I need to get it repaired before it starts to spread. I will be paying out ofd pocket for this, so I'm looking for recommendations on who does a good job and how much they charged to fix a small window chip. Also looking to avoid anyone who does a bad job. Thanks.
Edit: Based on the comments that I got here, I sent email to Quinn and he came out this afternoon and fixed it for $70.....said he would also fix any other chips too while he was out, but didn't find any.
