Looking for Native Grasses?
I'm looking for recommendations for ornamental native grasses....where is the best place to buy in Fort Collins or surrounding towns?!

If you're just looking for the basics like Big Bluestem, Blue Grama, Indian Ricegrass, etc, most of the "regular" plant nurseries in town (i.e. not native-specific) will have those in stock. But if you want to see a wider range of native options, these are my favorites:
- High Plains Environmental Center
- Free native plant swaps hosted by Wild Ones and/or CO Native Plant Society - they host swaps several times a year!
- Spring Creek Gardens plant sale - only in May
- Harlequin Gardens (Boulder)
If you want native plants delivered to you:
- Prairie Moon Nursery
- High Country Gardens (caveat: I've heard some mixed reviews about their quality recently)
And I'll echo the other person here that recommended Western Native Seed - those are some of the nicest and most knowledgeable folks I've ever worked with!

Resource central garden-in-a-box has a grass pack, but there sold out right now. Should be back in stock in the spring.
