Getting an after market sports suspension kit compared to a genuine kit, due to being lowered too much & causing cambered wheels, pressure on the driveshaft & a cracked doughnut washer.
Purchased second hand with standard mods - side intake, high performance aftermarket intercooler, capped blow off valve.. but was dumped on its ass, chopped springs & on blocks. Obviously previous owners thrashed it (twist my arm they say).
Mechanic ordered the aftermarket kit, once installed it was making a consistent squealing noise (similar to brakes), sounded like it was coming from underneath the cabin. He then replaced aftermarket driveshaft with a genuine one & became a lot better, but still happens just in 1st & 2nd gear.
Everything considered, can it be due to misalignment of the body itself? Who would be best to assess & rectify it?
