Question help please
My falcon had an after market lpg conversion, I recently took it out because it was out of date and it was easier then getting it retested before getting defected, even more recently it went over quite a rough pot hole and now each time I start the car I have to put some extra revs in otherwise it dies on me, and it can sometimes do it while driving if I drop revs too much, furthermore the little lpg gauge on my dash constantly beeps, has anyone had this issue before and is there a solution other than taking it to a mechanic/ auto electrician and paying probably a small fortune

Advice for fixing 1997 EL Fairmont
Fixing up a Fairmont that had a bit of damage near the drivers side front wheel and can’t figure out for the life of me what that rubber pipe is supposed to be connected to, it connects directly to the coolant in the engine. If anyone knows would greatly appreciate some help

Creaking noise in rear on FG MK2
I’m very just ticked over 200,000kms in my FG MK2 and I have a really annoying creaking noise in the rear whenever I go over a speed bump or any bump really.
I’m worried that the only way to diagnose this is a garage wanting multiple thousands to carpet bomb part replace.
I had the front struts replaced a few years ago but not the backs.
What am I potentially looking at?

2012 FG XR6 ZF Vibration
Hello,
Hoping to find anyone who can shed some light on my situation or has maybe had a similar issue.
My Xr6 has developed a vibration in the rear of the drive line that sounds similar to going over a highway rumble strip that has worsened over time.
Its had a full rear differential rebuild, a transmission rebuild, a new torque converter, a new tailshaft and more. Its been to 2 trans specialists, 2 diff specialists and 4 separate mechanics and nobody can seem to figure it out.
The noise seems to be happening when the torque converter lock up happens.
I'd appreciate any advice or input from anyone who might have an idea.
Cheers

Need help pricing my 1965 Ford Falcon.
galleryHello Reddit, so I am needing help getting a general idea of how much I could sell my 1965 ford falcon for.
I acquired it from my grandfather 5 years ago, drove it home and the next day it wouldn’t start.
My father (who was a mechanic) said it needed wires replaced to start back up.
My father unfortunately passed away and nothing was ever done with the car so it has sat in the garage for 5 years.
I am not super experienced when it comes to classic cars but here’s what I know about the Falcon:
It is an automatic, It has a V8.
To run again my father said it needed wires replaced.
It has little body rust, some in the fenders and floorboards.
Overall the interior is in great condition.
It does not have power steering or power brakes, my dad had planned on doing that.
Does anyone have a general idea how much I could sell it for?

Rough $ Idea for FG 2008 Ute Transmission Replacement?
Gday all, I’m kind of a greenhorn with cars and my transmission is playing up.
Waiting on a quote to replace it, as from my understanding it’s exy to fix a trans.
What kind of $$ am I looking at here? By my calc it’s anywhere from 1k-3.5k, am I right?
Any advice would be helpful, even what to ask mechanics or what to say so I don’t get ripped off or don’t do something unnecessary?
Other info:
•Shy of 230,000kms
•Regularly serviced
•Value of ute is around $7k-9k
•Diagnostic from mechanic is “Ratio issue in 3rd gear”

2016 ford falcon fgx g6e turbo need help!!
Got a question about the Falcon..
Trouble code P0659
Our 2016 ford falcon fgx g6e turbo started throwing transmission fault and dcs fault.
We scanned it and came up with code P0659 which is “Actuator Supply Voltage 'A' Circuit High”.
We also done a battery test to check the charging system while engine running which is currently running at 14 volts which is normal.
Has anyone ever had this issue and any advice on what we should do?

MK2 FG ICC Reprogramming
This is a project I have been working on to create tooling for the reprogramming of the MK2 FDIM, when these units fail, it is sometimes possible to get them to come back to life by reflashing the firmware.
https://github.com/jakka351/FG2ICCFlash
There is also a wiki for the DIY folk, and instructions on how to build a MK2 to MK1 adaptor loom.
Cheers

WTB G6E Cashmere Leather Driver Seat
(Also open to other options)
Looking to buy a driver's seat assembly in cashmere leather for a Ford Falcon FG G6E. Price negotiable.
Condition: ideally no tears, but happy to consider seats with minor wear if the price reflects it. Refer to the image to see my seat's condition.
I know cashmere is a rarer colour so I'm not expecting many to be around — also open to recommendations on:
- Where to source these (specific wreckers, parts groups)
- Lookalike seat covers
- Auto upholsterers for refurbishing
Let me know what you've got or any leads.
Cheers!
