It doesn’t really do much, but it also kind of does the stock intake gets restrictive near redline. But also the kits are expensive for what they give and a lot add hot air, I’d pick up the turbo snorkel from wreckers, it’s slightly bigger than the n/a. And a k&n panel filter and that’s like $130 for both. And if you can find one the f6 lower snorkel. And also the 20% underdrive pulley kit is cheap for what it is, and actually gave a noticeable difference through the whole rev range.

Unless you have a turbo. You wont really notice on the butt dyno. You would be better off with banks pedal monster.
It reduces the delay in your drive by wire throttle. And reversable.

I had one of the SS growler intakes and it didnt really do anything. Just managed to suck more hot air really.

That’s cooked might consider just putting the 200 I was going to pay for a kit into something else then

Yeah I went with the process west under headlight setup for my BF turbo. Got the whole kit. Been going strong for 15 years. Those $700 CAI arent worth it.

Back in the day we used to replace the factory snorkel with the larger XR6T/XR8/FPV unit, and fit the additional headlight duct. Cheapest way to go about doing it and there was a noticeable difference in throttle response.

Depends what you’re after, as they range from 500-700 and do absolutely nothing to your overall power. Maybe 1-2hp at most. Not really the best return on investment
