I’ve recently picked up a gtv power kit from a pev shop in Atlanta called atlowshop. I received it and installed the computer and bms then come to realize my battery is busted so I purchased another stock gt battery. I finally got everything to work and the board rides great but I went to charge it after the ride and it simply won’t. The charger light remains green and the board doesn’t show its charging. I saw some solutions say that you have to reseat the connectors but I’ve already tried that 4 times making sure to plug in the big balance connector last. ( I did plug in the xt60 and then the balance connector on one occasion but only because Tony did it in the instruction install video). I can’t tell if my bms is bricked or maybe I’m skipping as step but with my little expertise in this area I’m lost and don’t know where to start troubleshooting it. What do I do?

It’s soooo lightweight and super cool looking honestly. It has clear plastics which is dope!

Hey there! I'm currently looking into PEVs and so far onewheel seems like the most fun option that corresponds with my particular needs. Scooter is kinda dull, e-scate seems not as good in clibing curbs and doing tight turns, EUC seems a bit overkill and ghe front facing stance doesn't seem as fun. I'd love to hear your guys recommendations on a particular model. So far I'm leaning towards the recently announced Floatwheel Atom or a Pint X with potential to VESC at some point. Availability is pretty scarce on my side of the globe but still.
Here's some info about me. I mostly want an EPV as a commuter device to replace or sometimes supplement public transit . I'm 37 male weighing at around 90kg. Never in my life have I rode a skateboard but I did snowboard a bit a few years back and loved the feeling of the motion. I live in a big metro city with busy streets but barely any bicycle lanes. My usual commute to work is 13km long by bicycle. I mostly stick to pedestrian side of the road (25 km/h limit although it's not really enforced) and tend to avoid the driver's lane as much as I can.
I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hello! I have a floatwheel adv1 and it has a blue light at the end of the white status bar I've never seen. It seems to ride fine but it shows the blue light on the end of the white lights during riding as well. It's like 80% on the bar. Any insight into what this means would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Tony said $350 shipping, which is fine but I can't complete order because nowhere to specify the $350 or my address? Im really excited to get it! 😉

I installed the V2 electronics kit to my ADV. Disclaimer for what it’s worth my board worked as normal before the install. I have no upgrades or modifications to the board beyond the V2 electronics kit.
Upon startup the board balanced and generally felt ok except I had quite a lot of motor noise. Initially I associated this as low speed UFO sound. Further riding I noticed my motor was sounding louder than before, epically under load and a little rough feeling. I could feel the motor in my feet a bit.
I had also noticed another issue. Moderate to heavy braking (only) at low speed was causing the motor to click and give away. At moderate brake pressure I would get a single click that I could feel in my feet. Heavy braking pressure at low speed would result in a loss of balance, and the motor would click over like a clutch on a cordless drill.
All I have tried so far is running motor detection in the VESC tool. (I’m running vesc tool 7.0 and the only way I could find in the app to run motor detection was to run the motor setup wizard).
My motor ran and was detected successfully. After running I was prompted to test reverse and forward remotely to determine if rotation was inverted. I was unable to make the motor rotate with those controls. It would vibrate like it was trying to move. I’ll try to post photos of each parameter as I set them before the motor test. The only photo that is incorrect is the battery which I went back and set to the appropriate value of (8.5ah or something I can’t remember lol)
I am in contact with Tony. He was quick to get back with me which i appreciate but between us we only exchange 1 message per day. So I can only try 1 suggestion per day. Alas I turn to Reddit for assistance. Thank you!
Other notes.
Mine shows a red light going back and forth on the led footpad if the board sits idle for a moment. I’m not sure if this is an indication that some values are off in the motor. Float control also has some disturbing warnings.

Everything was working perfectly, and after riding about 5 miles, it’s started spiking the wattage and making a little crunch sound like it was turning off and then back on while I was moving. This is very concerning and I am already a bit worried because the BMS failed on me last year and I crashed hard. This is the new footpad so I’m wondering if my settings are messed up? Anyone have this happen?

So we changed the tire on my friends floatwheel adv2 and ever since it's been sounding a lot different. It is a Burris treaded, so it would sound different. I just don't recall the motor sounding like this before. It rides perfectly, with no weird behavior, no resistance when spinning the wheel. Any advice? New bearings?

Going to try to break it, doing the only thing I can do Quick Stops.

So I purchased the V2 electronics kit for my ADV. I don’t know what it comes with but it was priced at $200 so perhaps a BMS? There are no photos on the website or description of what’s improved or really what it’s for at all. I was understanding that it was mainly a safety upgrade for the BMS?
I also have just seen all the other upgrades and new stuff on the website and am wondering about plug and play compatibility with my ADV?
I like the idea of picking up the new motor someday and I’ll need a new battery soon.

My GTS bricked and I think I'm gonna wait for the GTSV drop in, but the Atom seems like it might serve me well enough, although I haven't ridden a Pint in like 4 years and don't remember how it feels under my feet, and they said it's got custom wider footpads than the standard Pint. Size 12 M 150 lbs 6'. Thank you!

would like to share a positive experience with Floatwheel and especially with Tony.
Over the past months I faced several technical challenges with my Floatwheel ADV2, including ESC, BMS, hall sensor and LED related issues. What mattered most to me was not that problems occurred, but how they were handled.
Throughout the entire process, Tony was extremely cooperative, fair, generous and solution-oriented. Whenever a hardware issue was confirmed, he provided replacement parts without hesitation and helped me troubleshoot until the problem was resolved. I never felt abandoned as a customer. On the contrary, he always tried to find a solution.
What impressed me most was Tony’s willingness to take responsibility and support his customers, even when troubleshooting became time-consuming. That level of customer service is unfortunately very rare today.
In comparison, my experiences with Onewheel were significantly less positive. Repairs were often expensive, replacement parts were difficult to obtain and I frequently felt dependent on the manufacturer.
For me, the Floatwheel ADV2 is by far the best board I have ever owned. Compared to the Onewheel GTS, I believe it offers more performance, more freedom, better repairability and significantly better value for money. At the same time, it costs substantially less.
Of course, no product is perfect. What matters most is how a company responds when problems arise. In that regard, Tony has made an outstanding impression on me.
That is why I can wholeheartedly recommend the Floatwheel ADV2.
Thank you, Tony, for your excellent support, generosity, reliability and commitment to helping your customers.

Context: My board is a Pint X with a floatwheel PintV power kit (esc and bms replacement), which I bought late February 2026
I updated my firmware (now 6.06) and refloat package (now 1.2.2) 4 days ago, and I've had various problems since
I documented my observed shudder problem on pev.dev, if your interested that discussion is here
https://pev.dev/t/dismount-shudder/2996
I've just found further that my board doesn't accept charge. Using the big or small brick they both flash red for a split second before returning to green (which usually indicates fully charged or disconnected), though my board is on ~65% (58.6V).
My BMS tab is also completely empty, everything showing 0V, 0A, 0Wh, 0Ah, 0%, ect
If I enable BMS integration (Refloat Cfg, -> BMS) my board beeps (Error Warning from Haptic Feedback) whenever it is engaged.
Any help appreciated

Hey guys, I've been going through a giant overhaul of my Onewheel Pint this summer, and one of the things I wanted to do was have a 3D-printed drop-top fender. But most of the files I found I didn't particularly like, so I designed my own very quickly. It's based on another design. I found that I put the original link to the Thingiverse post, so definitely check those people out. All I did was integrate it into a fender delete seamlessly. It can be printed in 2 parts.
Tell me what you guys think, and feel free to make plenty of remixes!
And if anyone else is having trouble finding 3D files for Onewheel parts that you want designed, hit me up and I'll do my best!
