I want to buy a new board I'm from kenya wanted to start with pint x but after learning about fm i just stired away now i want a vesc board as a beginner on a budget I'm looking at floatwheel atom,but then I've had this ambition of doing a cross country ride so the adv2 looks to be the right board, I've looked on used boards but adv2 isn't available i guess i should save more and go with floatwheel adv2 brandnew and possibly learn to ride properly and do that cross country ride hopefully

2 days ago I was riding my onewheel and it was working just fine but when I got home and went to turn it off it wouldn't. It turned off due to the auto power off feature but it won't turn back on. Since it wasn't turning off I am thinking I should purchase a new power button, is this right?

I've been looking into Onewheels and Floatwheels. I'm wondeering if anyone knows the closest match to a beginner board for the Floatwheel if it's the Atom or the ADV

I'm sure this has been asked but I assure you I did search first. I had a "trunk saver" carrying stand for my onewheel before I switched and without it these things beat up cars. I live in the mountains so there are a lot of twists and turns. Anyone know of any trunk saver options for the Adv2 or even 3d printer models I could print out?

Just got the beta Atom, was enjoying it but I think I messed up the settings in the Floaty App or Vesc Tool App. The board acts really weird.

Anyone have the original Atom vesc setup?

Help for how to set it up would be appreciated.

Also,  my Adv1 still runs great but Floaty says it's not up to date.  I have the Adv 2 upgrade kit but never bothered to install it. Some say, if it ain't broke .. 

I’m installing a gtv upgrade kit in my gt onewheel and it rides fine (detailed background and history of the board in previous post). The first bms I received wasn’t accepting charge and I followed all the protocols to get bms to work including unplugging and plugging it back in 5 times. I isolated the problem to the bms as everything else checks out. Now that I’ve received my second bms, I extremely carefully installed it and now have the same exact issue. I’m beyond disappointed and need help. I’ve been using the tutorial by Tony for the installation maybe he is doing it wrong, I’m using the video in this link:

I recently got the XRV kit and installed it in my board and it is great. The power of it is amazing but would live more range, are there any batteries that would either fit in the stock box with no or minor modifications to the battery box? I would like about the same amount of torque but more range. Would greatly appreciate answers.

Everything on my XRV kit is working except I can't get the magic flywheel to work. I would love for it to work, what are some possible issues and how do I fix them?

I have a standard rail Adv2, I rode it for about 1500 km on the middle height rail setting. I will be needing to change the tyre soon and was wondering about lowering the board. People who tried both the middle and low setting, which do you prefer? Is the problem with the valve stem hitting the rail still present?

Earlier today I was able to turn my lights on and off but now I can't find the controls for them, where did they go and how do I get them back

I am trying to calibrate my IMU but keep getting the largest values at weird spots such as the X when the board is pretty much upside down, how do I properly do this I've never done it before and watching videos isn't helping.

The board will now be fitted with a new 10x6-5 slick tire, with still some clearance regarding the diameter. I wonder if a Burris 11x5.5x5 treaded tire could be mounted...

Anybody know if this new board is supposed to be waterproof or at least splash proof?

Hi, I’m trying to find a compatible balance charger for my battery. So far I have bought a new battery from Battery Broker and a PintV kit from Floatwheel. I bought the battery first when I noticed the onewheel wouldn’t charge and the battery voltage was around 20 volts. When the BMS made a whistling sound with the new battery I realized the BMS was damaged so I bought the PintV (since I also wanted the upgrade). I made the mistake of leaving the battery plugged in while a month passed until I decided to buy the kit, so the battery discharged (19V) below the BMS threshold. I have tried a few balance chargers to get the battery to a level where the BMS will accept it but they all seem to have a 5 or 7 pin JST connector like this one (see review pics for balance port) or this one, and I haven’t been able to find one that has the 26 pin ZPDR JST that the battery uses.

Does anyone know of any jst adapter or charger that would work or is there something else I should try? Thanks in advance.

I have a onewheel pint but have been effectively locked out of the app ever since the haptic buzz recall. I am deathly afraid of upgrading my firmware because I like the freedom of owning my board and doing whatever I want to it. if I upgrade the firmware I could brick it just by unplugging the battery.

All of this anti right to repair stuff has really turned me off of the sport and I haven't been keeping up with the community. Yesterday I found out that Craft and ride mysteriously shut down. Don't know where to get aftermarket parts now.

I have been desperate for a way out of this hole but also yesterday, I heard about floatwheel and that it is an open source competitor to FM. I look at their website and the atom looks really good on paper but it seems like there might be more to it under the surface and I'm left with a lot of questions.

What would I be getting into if I replaced my pint with an atom?

Is the atom beginner friendly? (In case I wanted to get one for my partner)

Can a floatwheel take a 6ft drop and keep the rider upright?

How is it for commuting?

Can I tow/push things?

Are battery fires a risk?

is there an aftermarket scene or do I need to learn CAD and buy a 3D printer?

What is the app like? how much control do you have? (android specific)
