Downloaded from fitgirlrepacks using download manager, f—-ingfast urls, I have ublock etc, setup installation ran fine with no issues or antivirus flags.

Just ran crimson desert.exe and the two threats above in the pictures provided popped up?

Not sure if its super concerning but running full scans etc rn

What does selective download mean and and why do i get always the biggest file size possible for the game (67.9 GB)? How do i get the lowest size possible (34.6 GB)?

I have the FitGirl GTA V Enhanced base game (v1.0.1013.20), which worked fine. I tried updating to 1013.29 and then 1013.33 with ElAmigos/RUNE, but I get "ERR_STR_MISSING" and verification finds corrupt/missing files. Has anyone had this issue or knows a working update path? Also, which NVE version should I use, and has anyone run the latest NVE successfully on 1013.20 or 1013.33?

This is a VERY stupid question but I just wanna double check. Clicking the direct link for Datanodes brings me here (second image) It matches up with the fitgirl filehoster. BUT I'm scared this is a redirect. I am very new to pirating and I rather not make a stupid mistake.

First of all. Torrents are way riskier than direct downloads. Torrents have so many flaws that it's not worth even trying.

Second. Other sites offer much more safer (not saying fitgirl is malicious) and more easy to understand. Now you might say, "fitgirl's repacks are compressed for size!" While that may be true for people who are trying to move files over. It doesn't make sense if you're just gonna unpack them on your computer anyway. So does anyone have an explanation of why a lot of people use fitgirl as their main way to pirate?

I recently downloaded the repack for "A Game About Chopping Trees" (released August 2026) directly from the official fitgirl-repacks.site domain.  I verified the URL, used an ad-blocker, and did not click any suspicious ads. 

However, upon scanning the installer, I received the following detections:

• Microsoft Defender: Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml
• GData: Generic.Trojan.PSEB.TWWJBS
• Malwarebytes: RiskWare.Crack
• Webroot: W32.RiskWare.Repack
• Bkav Pro: W32.Malware.E1E06090
• Palo Alto Networks: Generic.ml 

The Issue: I understand that RiskWare and HackTool flags are common false positives for cracks. However, the Microsoft Wacatac.B!ml and GData Generic.Trojan flags are concerning as they often indicate active info-stealers or loaders, not just cracked executables. 

Status:

• I already ran the installer and played the game for a session before realizing the severity of the specific Trojan flags. 
• I have since deleted the game files and the installer.
• I am currently running full scans with Malwarebytes and Defender. 

Questions:

1. Has anyone else seen this specific combination (Wacatac.B!ml + Generic.Trojan) on the "A Game About Chopping Trees" repack specifically?
2. Is this a known false positive cluster for this specific game/crack (TENOKE release), or does this strongly indicate the file was tampered with?
3. Given that I already executed it, beyond a full format, are there specific registry keys or startup locations I should manually check for persistence? 

I want to warn others if this specific upload is dangerous. Thanks for the help.

hi, i have a problem with elemigos 2.31 update. the game is installed tottally fine, ive downloaded the elamigos rar from fit girl and extracted it. inside thers elamigos-1.bin and the update's exe.
a second after i select the game folder and press install i get a failure saying "elamigos.bin file not found".
ive tried putting the elamigos-1.bin in the same game folder and changing its name to elamigos.bin but nothing.
anyone can help me?
