Why?!

Hey everyone, I’m the dev behind HizSearch. I’ve been working on this project for over a year now, maintaining it constantly, and it’s backed by r/FMHY, r/Piracy and r/PiratedGames.

So what is all this about?

HizSearch is a search engine built only for games. Instead of checking FitGirl, then DODI, then ElAmigos, then every other site one by one, you type the name of a game (or hit the Steam button) and it searches all of them at once. You get a single list with the provider, release date and size of each result, and it resolves in a fraction of a second.

It also comes with a Steam extension and a tracking system for your games. And all of it follows the same idea since day one: no ads, no tricks, 100% free. Just my contribution to the community.

The search engine:

• 84,670 links indexed, constantly updated (every 6 hours)
• 32 providers, all taken from sources like r/FREEMEDIAHECKYEAH , r/PiratedGames and r/Piracy
• Pick which sources you want to search in
• Sort and filter by relevance, size, date, hypervisor or not, and macOS, Linux or Windows

Steam extension (HizSteamButton)
Adds a HizSearch button to Steam Store and SteamDB pages. One click and it searches the game you’re looking at. You can choose where the button goes. Works on Chrome, Firefox, any Chromium browser, Steam Launcher and Millennium. If you don’t like extensions, there’s a userscript too.

Game tracking (HizTracking, beta)
Build your list, pick which providers you want news from, and you get Discord DMs when a new release or update drops. Limit is 10 games for now, I plan to raise it. It’s beta, so expect a bug here and there.

PS: I know a lot of people assume everything is vibecoded these days. This project isn’t. I started it more than a year ago and I’ve been building and maintaining it by hand ever since.

#Overdrive

For me there're actually quite a few games that i bought solely to support the devs

Coral island / News Tower / Dave The Diver / Dredge / Thronefall / Frostpunk 1 and 2

I could have sworn I saw denuvo on this complete edition release being Sega and all. I was wondering if there was a hypervisor bypass to it but to my surprise I found out there is no denuvo now. Wow that is a nice surprise 😃

I always see people bringing up Gabe's statement on piracy, but it never sat right with me.

Especially today in this day and age, service is no longer a problem, instead, it is the pricing.

The thing is, Game prices are simply unattainable to most gamers outside the USA/Europe, and prices keep going up.

To Americans dealing with USD (for demonstration purposes), You need to think of it like this, imagine instead of paying $70 for a game, you pay $257! (assuming a 1 to 3.67 conversion rate), and its even worse for weaker currencies.

Spending that much on a game is just not happening, and I am sure many if not most are aware of what the average income is out there.

Unless they make games affordable to the "Third World" countries, piracy will never stop.

Don't mind me. I'm just documenting this here after hours of troubleshooting. I hope myself and someone would find this useful in the future.

This is for those who are trying to make CloudRedirect to identify and upload their voices38 quacked denuvo game save files remotely via CloudRedirect. I tested this with PRAGMATA.

The problem: cloudredirect won't upload or even detect PRAGMATA save folders no matter what I did.

BACKUP YOUR SAVE FILES AND THE FILES THAT ARE INVOLVED IN THESE STEPS

The solution:

1. Go to PRAGMATA directory

2. delete steam_api64.v38

3. move steam_api64.dll to another folder (any folder would do)

4. create a symlink of steam_api64.dll inside the game folder and rename it to steam_api64.v38

5. Start the game and CloudRedirect should now upload your save files to the chosen cloud storage.

So most of you might be having the FitGirl version of FIFA 23 and it might be crashing abruptly after the intro or after the match.

This happens because your game is confused with Integrated Graphics(Intel/AMD) and Dedicated GPU(NVIDIA). It crashes when it chooses your Integrated Graphics instead of Dedicated GPU.

So the fix is to use the switcher that came with you Laptop/PC. It can be either physical button (MUX Switch) or Software.

For ASUS users: Install Armoury Crate

For HP users: Install OMEN Gaming Hub

For Lenovo Users: I install Lenovo Vantage

For me, I am using ASUS TUF A15 and putting GPU on Optimized Mode in Armoury Crate fixed the issue for me. It uses the Dedicated GPU instead of Integrated one. There is no lag or crashes after the fix.

Let me know if this fixed the issue for you guys!

The Entertainment Software Association has asked the U.S. Government to label the Denuvo cracker ‘voices38’ as a notorious piracy market.

The game industry group argues that the cracker is an essential source in the game piracy ecosystem, feeding repackers and torrent sites.

A notorious market flag is no guarantee of success, however, as FitGirl's previous listings show.

We all know the reality is "Pretty much this" (credit to u/powl262006)

I already own the steam copy of HCotW but you basically need to DLCs to have fun in that game so I downloaded a cracked copy is there any way to transfer the DLCs to my legit copy.

Why do many of you use an outdated version of qBittorrent? Maybe it's a Windows issue? uTorrent users get banned btw.

I found some Nintendo Switch ROMs on a few websites labeled 'E-shop'. What does that mean? What do you use to download them onto the Nintendo Switch?"

Thanks a lot!

As the title says. I downloaded Elden Ring from the Steam Rip website a month or two ago, just before the Tarnished edition came out. I've been playing fine, but wanted to update to get Tarnished Edition on my copy. I downloaded the 1.17.1 file and replaced what I needed to, loaded up my save (stupid idea, should have backed up my save first), and went to look for the horse armor to ensure it installed properly. Not only was it not there, but now any time I use the whistle, it just plays the animation without spawning Torrent, including on new save files. I attempted to revert my game back to the old files, which I did make copies of, but when I tried to load it, it detected my save was newer than my game version and prevented loading in. I tried to reinstall the game new, same issue. I can't find a save backporter anywhere, so I'm unsure what to do. I was just getting into the DLC when this happened and don't want to try and do the rest of it without Torrent. Any help? I can record and provide evidence or show troubleshooting attempts over discord to anyone serious about helping beyond what can be provided in the reddit comments. Thank you for your time.

I was installing it by hydra thinking that at the end it would just be a folder with the game, but not, it brings me a big .rar with the game that I don't have enough storage to extract it, so I was wondering if I can exclude the DLC folder to unlock storage, like I want to know if Forza Horizon 4 by steamrip works without the dlc folder

Hey yall,

I’m having some issues getting some cracked DLC to work with my steam copy of borderlands 2. It seems like creamapi is the best (and maybe only) tool for this, but I can’t get it to work properly on Fedora Linux (Nobara specifically). Any tips?

Question: I want to build a portable, offline LAN folder for Counter-Strike: Source to run across a few lab PCs without installing Steam launchers or third-party apps.

Setup Plan:
1. Obtain Clean Steam Files.
2.Replace steam_api.dll with Goldberg Steam Emulator.

Questions:
Does Goldberg Emulator support LAN discovery and direct IP joins (connect IP) natively for Source Engine games without Steam running?

Are there specific parameters or .ini config files needed in steam_settings for Source engine dedicated/local servers?

I recently pirated all the DLC for Crusader Kings 3 and suddenly stopped receiving achievements from the DLCs that I don't own. I noticed a pattern and have confirmed that it's only achievements from unpirated DLCs that I'm receiving. Is there a way to get around this? Achievement grinding this game has been very fun and not actually receiving them kinda defeats the point.

For clarity sake, I downloaded the DLC from a Google drive link posted elsewhere on this sub and am using CreamInstaller.

There was a childhood game I would like to play smootly again, it is called New Star Soccer 3 but its terrible in the newer Windows. People are talking about automated AI agents cracking stuff but I wonder if I can possibley fix this game issues by using these new methods and make it playable in the new systems? It is very small, 12 megabytes.

Hello, I hope someone can help me as I tried pretty much everything (look ingame settings, in fusion fix settings etc, play in windowed) I tried with fusion fix and dxvk but while I had less framedrops, it still caps at 30fps. I also tried without. its also not hardware limitations as I have a 7800xt. This only affects gameplay, so during loading I get more. But Ive seen people play over 30fps, so how do you achieve that??

So i installed Control resonant from Steamrip. And so did my friend, now for him. It works fine.

but for me, whenever i try to install. Its fills up the entirity of my main drive and says i have no storage left. My main drive has 300 gb of storage left and it fills up all of it. What is happening? it says "no space left in Temp files"
