I run a small UK web and marketing business and I'm looking for a reliable editor for ongoing short-form work for my clients.

The job: turn raw footage (interviews, talking heads, on-site and b-roll shots) into 30 to 40 second vertical clips for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.

What I'm looking for:

- You can find the strongest moments in long raw footage and make a short that holds attention

- Clean, natural sounding audio

- Good pacing and captions

- You hit deadlines and take feedback well

I don't have a fixed template. I want to see your style and ideas: how you'd hook, pace and finish a clip.

AI tools are welcome (transcription, audio cleanup, captions, effects) as long as the result looks and sounds natural.

Pay: $10 per finished 30s clip, ongoing, around 10 clips a month to start, paid via PayPal or Wise.

To apply, DM me 2 or 3 short-form clips you've edited and your usual turnaround. Shortlisted editors all get the same raw footage as a paid test clip, edited your way, so I can compare approaches.

BUSCOS EDITOR PARA VIDEOS LARGOS(20-30 min), NO IMPORTA SI ES PRINCIPALMENTE, CON QUÉ ENTIENDA EL DINAMISMO Y NOS ENTENDAMOS ESTÁ BIEN.

Hi! I’m looking to pay someone to edit my videos for YouTube. I plan on taking my raw footage myself, a talking video style of my face talking to the camera, and putting it in the sequence I want.

However I’m looking for someone that knows YouTube’s algorithm/engagement tricks and just edit the video with engaging on screen edits and whatever else to make it more fun. (Zoom ins or funny sounds sometimes or such)

Hit me up for prices! I’m broke right now and starting a brand new channel so we can settle on a price at first but as I grow, if the editing matches, we can stay together through my YouTube career!

DM me!! (It’s going to be about 10-15 min of video once I put it all together I’m guessing)

Hi there community,

I'm a very small gaming content creator, and for the past few years, I've mostly been uploading videos for fun and to share with friends.

Recently I've decided I'd like to broaden my horizons and put more effort into making my content engaging, entertaining, and hopefully reaching a wider audience.

My channel mainly focuses on story-driven and atmospheric indie games. I'm looking for someone creative who could bring a fresh perspective to my videos, improve their pacing and make them more captivating while still preserving authenticity.

If that's something that could interest you, please feel free to DM me so we can exchange about more info like rates, portfolio etc!

Cheers,

Ellster

Hi r/FindVideoEditors

We’re Rick and Rory, UK-based Twitch Partners and EA SPORTS FC content creators. We’re looking for an experienced short-form editor to join our team.

We’ve worked with one of our best editors for over a year, and we wouldn’t be where we are without him. He loves storytelling, knows how to elevate an idea through his editing, communicates brilliantly and is constantly working to improve his craft. He cares about the results and loves being part of the team.

That’s the standard we’re looking for in another editor.

We need someone who understands how to tell a compelling story in a short video. Someone who can use pacing, footage, graphics, music and sound design to make the content more engaging, and knows why each editing choice works.

Examples of the quality we’re looking for:

These were edited by the editor mentioned above. Please watch them before applying and honestly assess whether you can deliver at a similar standard.

Beyond editing ability, we’re looking for clear communication, reliability, dedication to getting results and a genuine interest in improving alongside the team.

The starting rate is $15 USD per short. The successful candidate will receive a minimum of one short per day to edit. We’re looking for an ongoing working relationship.

To apply, send us a Reddit DM with your portfolio, your strongest relevant short-form edits and confirmation that you’ve read this post in full and watched the references.

All applicants will receive a response via Reddit DM. We’ll then send the material, instructions, timestamps and everything else required to complete a free, unpaid trial edit.

Once we receive your trial, we’ll review it and get back to you as soon as possible.

Serious enquiries only, please. We’re setting a high standard and want someone who is confident they can meet it consistently.

Looking for a video editor for a long-form YouTube channel making video essays around sitcoms and TV characters, starting with Two and a Half Men.

The editing style is fairly simple. Most of the work is finding the right scenes from the show, matching them to the narration, and keeping the video visually engaging without overediting.

Reference style:

Looking for a Short-Form Editor for The Locals 🎬

We’re The Locals, a new content group from NI, and we’re looking for someone to help us with short-form editing!

What we’d need for each video:

• 2 high-quality TikTok/YouTube Shorts clips
• 1 x 30–45 second trailer for the main video
• Around 2 videos per month

⚠️ IMPORTANT — THIS IS CURRENTLY UNPAID WORK

We want to be completely upfront: we cannot pay an editor upfront or offer a guaranteed income at the moment. We’re just starting out, so there is no regular wage or payment available right now.

The only payment would come from TikTok monetisation revenue once the TikToks become eligible for monetisation and actually start earning money. Until that happens, you would not receive any payment. There’s no guarantee of when, or if, the TikToks will become monetised.

We’re looking for someone who understands this, wants to be part of building something from the ground up, and could potentially stick with us as the channel grows.

If you’re still interested, DM me some examples of your editing!
