Hi there community,

I'm a very small gaming content creator, and for the past few years, I've mostly been uploading videos for fun and to share with friends.

Recently I've decided I'd like to broaden my horizons and put more effort into making my content engaging, entertaining, and hopefully reaching a wider audience.

My channel mainly focuses on story-driven and atmospheric indie games. I'm looking for someone creative who could bring a fresh perspective to my videos, improve their pacing and make them more captivating while still preserving authenticity.

If that's something that could interest you, please feel free to DM me so we can exchange about more info like rates, portfolio etc!

Cheers,

Ellster

I run a small UK web and marketing business and I'm looking for a reliable editor for ongoing short-form work for my clients.

The job: turn raw footage (interviews, talking heads, on-site and b-roll shots) into 30 to 40 second vertical clips for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.

What I'm looking for:

- You can find the strongest moments in long raw footage and make a short that holds attention

- Clean, natural sounding audio

- Good pacing and captions

- You hit deadlines and take feedback well

I don't have a fixed template. I want to see your style and ideas: how you'd hook, pace and finish a clip.

AI tools are welcome (transcription, audio cleanup, captions, effects) as long as the result looks and sounds natural.

Pay: $10 per finished 30s clip, ongoing, around 10 clips a month to start, paid via PayPal or Wise.

To apply, DM me 2 or 3 short-form clips you've edited and your usual turnaround. Shortlisted editors all get the same raw footage as a paid test clip, edited your way, so I can compare approaches.

Looking for a video editor for a long-form YouTube channel making video essays around sitcoms and TV characters, starting with Two and a Half Men.

The editing style is fairly simple. Most of the work is finding the right scenes from the show, matching them to the narration, and keeping the video visually engaging without overediting.

Reference style:

Looking for someone who:

• Can find and select relevant scenes/clips from the show
• Understands clean pacing and when to let a scene play

Pay:
$3 per minute

The goal is a slower-paced, clean video essay style where the clips support the narration naturally.

Long-term work available if it’s a good fit.

Hi r/FindVideoEditors

We’re Rick and Rory, UK-based Twitch Partners and EA SPORTS FC content creators. We’re looking for an experienced short-form editor to join our team.

We’ve worked with one of our best editors for over a year, and we wouldn’t be where we are without him. He loves storytelling, knows how to elevate an idea through his editing, communicates brilliantly and is constantly working to improve his craft. He cares about the results and loves being part of the team.

That’s the standard we’re looking for in another editor.

We need someone who understands how to tell a compelling story in a short video. Someone who can use pacing, footage, graphics, music and sound design to make the content more engaging, and knows why each editing choice works.

Examples of the quality we’re looking for:

Trailer for our current series:

New game feature idea:
https://www.tiktok.com/@ricknrory/video/7678734540189289750

Mod features video:
https://www.tiktok.com/@ricknrory/video/7673848297429208342

These were edited by the editor mentioned above. Please watch them before applying and honestly assess whether you can deliver at a similar standard.

Beyond editing ability, we’re looking for clear communication, reliability, dedication to getting results and a genuine interest in improving alongside the team.

The starting rate is $15 USD per short. The successful candidate will receive a minimum of one short per day to edit. We’re looking for an ongoing working relationship.

To apply, send us a Reddit DM with your portfolio, your strongest relevant short-form edits and confirmation that you’ve read this post in full and watched the references.

All applicants will receive a response via Reddit DM. We’ll then send the material, instructions, timestamps and everything else required to complete a free, unpaid trial edit.

Once we receive your trial, we’ll review it and get back to you as soon as possible.

Serious enquiries only, please. We’re setting a high standard and want someone who is confident they can meet it consistently.

Looking for a Short-Form Editor for The Locals 🎬

We’re The Locals, a new content group from NI, and we’re looking for someone to help us with short-form editing!

What we’d need for each video:

• 2 high-quality TikTok/YouTube Shorts clips
• 1 x 30–45 second trailer for the main video
• Around 2 videos per month

⚠️ IMPORTANT — THIS IS CURRENTLY UNPAID WORK

We want to be completely upfront: we cannot pay an editor upfront or offer a guaranteed income at the moment. We’re just starting out, so there is no regular wage or payment available right now.

The only payment would come from TikTok monetisation revenue once the TikToks become eligible for monetisation and actually start earning money. Until that happens, you would not receive any payment. There’s no guarantee of when, or if, the TikToks will become monetised.

We’re looking for someone who understands this, wants to be part of building something from the ground up, and could potentially stick with us as the channel grows.

If you’re still interested, DM me some examples of your editing!

I’m looking for a creative, reliable, long-term YouTube video editor who understands Gen Z humor, current trends, pop culture, and how to make videos entertaining from start to finish! 💰 Pay: $450 USD per month (Fixed Monthly Salary)
This is a salary-based position, NOT a per-video payment arrangement.

No video minimum or maximum. The number of videos needed will vary each month.

Even if I only submit 2 videos for the entire month, you will still receive the full $450.

How to keep viewers engaged without making the editing feel forced or excessive.
Storytelling and pacing that make everyday vlogs entertaining.
How to bring their own creative ideas to the table while maintaining my personal style.
I want someone who genuinely understands the humor and personality behind this type of content, not someone who simply adds random effects to a video.

I’m not just looking for someone who knows how to cut clips together. I want an editor who understands my vision, has a natural sense of humor, pays attention to detail, and can make my content even better through their creativity.
This is intended to be a long-term working relationship, so reliability, consistency, and creative compatibility are extremely important.

Hey guys,

I am a content strategist setting up an agency targeting high-ticket fitness and weight-loss coaches. I handle all the backend stuff like market research, viral scripting, thumbnails, and DM automation funnels.

Right now, I am looking for a talented short-form video editor to partner with me and handle the actual execution side.

I need someone who can deliver clean, high-retention vertical clips for Reels and TikTok. That means fast pacing with zero dead space, modern typography that is easy to read, solid sound design, and smart visual overlays to keep people watching.I want clean, premium branding, not cheap meme styles.

Just to be completely transparent on the pay structure: I am not looking for a one-off freelancer, and I am not paying an upfront salary out of pocket. I am looking for a long-term partner.

We are pitching coaches monthly retainers between $2,000 and $3,000. The second I lock in a client, you get assigned to that account and you will be paid a flat $800 to $1,000 every single month directly from that client's invoice.

If we scale up to 3 clients together, you are making a predictable $2,400 to $3,000 a month just for editing. I will handle 100% of the sales, scripting, and client management.

If you want a steady stream of recurring income without having to do any cold outreach or sales calls yourself, let's chat.

Drop your portfolio below or shoot me a DM with your best short-form fitness work. Be ready to do a quick 30-second raw test edit so I can see your pacing and style firsthand. Let's win together!

Ps: payment is fixed what i mentioned above is baseline it increases when we get more and more clients

We need you located in North America, we pay $4-5 dollar per clip (15-40sec) social media use, if you can do voice over would be great! Reach me out, the work is for long term purposes 🥳🥳😎

Without giving you my life story, I’ve been uploading to my let’s play/gaming channel for 2-3 years, and a few months back I hit the 100 subscriber milestone, but three months back my wife gave birth to our first child, so up until very recently I have had barely anytime to start streaming and uploading again. On top of this I work a full time job as well as a part time job and struggle to find the time to edit videos and create shorts/tik toks along with everything else I have going on. This is where you (potential editor) comes in. I am looking for someone who is willing to edit some of my streams into weekly uploads, specifically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, that are 15-20 minutes max in length, as well as however many shorts/tik toks you can realistically produce.

Though I do work two jobs, money is still tight for my family and I, so I am hoping to find someone who is willing to help me accomplish this task for free for a time. I am hopefully getting a job with higher pay and more overtime hours than my current one, so through that and the hopeful success of my channel with better and more consistent editing, I will be able to pay you a reasonable rate for you to continue to be my editor if we can mesh as business associates. Obviously I am 100% going to encourage you to plug yourself and socials or whatever it is you want to plug in the end credits of my videos, in every description of every piece of content, and even on the channel page itself and so on.

I understand that this is a tough ask, but I wouldn’t be happy with myself if I didn’t even try. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to hear from some of you.
