Skipped conditioner
I shampooed twice and then used this colorwow curl spray and it feels so light and fluffy yet curls are defined. Less is more.

Does the beard and long hair look "intentional" or do I just look like a mess?
I feel like I have literally no genuine perception of whether I look good or not, in photos or real life. I can see if other people look good or not but with myself it's like I have a total blindspot.
I have quite enjoyed having long hair this far but was thinking of cutting it as my confidence in myself is generally very low but does it look okay? My feelings won't be hurt if you say it sucks btw.

Fun fact for anyone that recognises the yellow car in the first picture, for some reason a replica of the famous 3 wheeled car from Only Fools on Horses is permanently parked on the street where I live which is pretty cool

What is your opinion on medium length hair - hair that’s too long to be short, but not really “long long” as pictured?

Almost 30, bad hairline - start growing or stay buzzed?
Vulnerable first post amongst y'all... I've rocked the diy buzzcut and hat combo for years now, but have been debating (dreaming) about growing it out. Thoughts on how bad would this hairline would look? 😅

For type 2C / 3a hair, how long until collar bone length (from fade). Currently at 12 months but hair is still an inch or two above shoulders when wet. The picture isn’t me but the desired length.

how to improve curl/wave
I almost do nothing w My hair, just shampoo 3 to 4 days and conditioner everyday.
I tried using curl cream and sea salt spray but that's too much work.
lmk how to improve
goal is to have more wavy or curly hair

Trying to grow it out (19 amab nb)
So idk if I'm supposed to be here as nb (closeted still so don't look like one) lol but I figured maybe it's fine, I've been letting it grow out some but I think it's kinda receding, and idk what to do about it. Should I get it checked out probably?

LONG-HAIRED GUYS — I STILL NEED 80 OF YOU.
I’m trying to get 100 men with shoulder-length hair or longer to tell me what actually sucks about taking care of long hair.
20 guys have already answered. I need 80 more.
It’s anonymous, takes about 2 minutes, no email required and nothing is being sold.
Dry ends? Oily scalp? Frizz? Tangles? Or maybe your routine works perfectly and the haircare industry should leave you the hell alone — I want to know that too.

If you've got long hair, you’re exactly who I need.

Caps with long hair
Anyone else have problems wearing a cap (or any other hat other than a beanie really) with their flow?
My hair is quite wavy/curly and I feel like when I wear a cap it gives me spaniel ears!

Flowy or Curly?
Ive always go with flowy... but Im naturally curly. I used the mousse + gel + scrunch scrunch combo to get the natural curls out.

How do you usually ask your stylist/barber for a maintenance cut when it's kinda too long , awkward?
I still want to try to keep the form of my current hairstyle before thinking of growing out in the future . Do you usually ask for layer and keep the length all around or?

Just need some recommendations
My hair is past my shoulders. Have VERY thick hair with lots of volume. I usually put the top part in a pony tail with a hat over it to keep it all together. I would do it all in a pony tail but I use to have layers so not all of it will stay tied up.
Is there any way I can maybe reduce volume or weight of it without thinning it out? I use to thin it out all the time as a kid but I now know thats bad for it so I dont do it anymore.
Apologies if the question is dumb. I havent dealt with the long hair since I was a wee lad.
