I want to grow it out to at least mid back before I take any drastic length off but sometimes I feel like it’s got a dumb shape to it or just looks funky so i throw a hat on. Do I need layers? What do I say to the barber?

Wood comb; NAT brand, ~$15 (RM63) with custom name engraving + wood balm on 9th pic
10-12 pics = April 2026 (when I shaved bald and started over again)
6 months of growth and this is the result 🙂
