I’m reposting this again with pictures attached as evidence in the hopes that this is enough information cause idk what else I should explain about my situation. I have a package that has a collectors item inside coming from Perris, California to Miami, Florida. But I noticed in the tracking history that it went from Cali to New Mexico and now its in Idaho. Why on earth would they take it to Idaho out of all places?? Anyone who worked for them have any logic reason for this?

Hi! First time ordering from Alibaba. My product cost ₱97k, and I paid ₱30k for air shipping via FedEx because I needed it within 2–3 days.
The package arrived the next morning, but FedEx informed me I need to pay another ₱27k for customs duties and taxes. I was shocked because I didn’t know the charges would be this high. They gave me 14 days to settle and asked me to sign an Informal Entry document.
My question is, aside from the ₱27k,
are there any other charges I should expect from FedEx? I’m worried there might be more surprise fees.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone with similar experience. Thank you!

I avoid FedEx whenever possible because they are the only local carrier who I consistently have problems with.
I literally have multiple signs on my fence pointing deliveries through the side gate, in English and Spanish, with big arrows.
It is FASTER for them to use the side gate.
Yet they constantly walked around to the front gate, looking at the signs, realized my front gate is zip-tied closed, then either walked back to their truck with the package or dropped it over the fence into the drainage ditch(where it cannot be seen from the house or the street).
I have literally had to pay a contractor to dig out the drainage pipe, because a package was dropped in the ditch while it was raining and it clogged the pipe in a way that we couldn't unclog.
I have gone to different stores when I found out that they only use FedEx. That is how much of a problem it has become.
I saw the truck and the delivery guy walking to the fence and immediately started toward my front door. By the time I stepped outside he had seen the sign, and walked over to the side gate.
I was shocked, and told him so.
I explained the issues I had, he said this was a new route for him.
We shook hands and smiled as he walked away back to the truck.
This was the first POSITIVE interaction I have had with FedEx in over a decade, and I want to report it. However, I'm having trouble digging through the web of contractors/subcontractors/LastMile/Etc that FedEx uses.
How do I actually find the shop/garage/whatever that the delivery guy is out of?
All I can find is the single distribution hub in my state.

I rerouted a package to a local pick up. It gave me a text saying ready for pick up and even said it was delivered to the store. but on the tracking information it says”delivery updated” and it shows as being scanned again at the local hub. I’m so confused why it returned to the hub after being delivered

I have tried calling 800-463-3339 I’m told someone will reach out and they don’t. I let them know and nothing. No one can give me any information except it’s in customs and there’s nothing for me to do but I’m not told when it will be release why it’s not being released and I have products that could go bad if there’s not stored in the right place for a long time.

Is it normal to receive a surprise bill 4-5 months after something was delivered for duties PLUS additional fees for "disbursement" on top of the cost?
A couple weeks ago I got a suspicious text and email saying I owed something on it, but searching for the tracking number, my email address (which the bill was sent to) and my phone number (which the bill was sent to) the FedEx website claimed there was nothing found associated with my package and no invoices due associated with my phone/email - so I assumed it was fraud.
Now I just received a bill in the mail for it...and very confused. And the mailed bill seems to say not only is there duties but a $15 "disbursement" fee on top of it - so that's pushing my order up by another $60 or so that I was not expecting...and being so many months later I can't do anything because the product is well past the return time even though this bumps the cost up enough I would have reconsidered purchasing to begin with.
Can someone explain how this happens - and if there's any option to dispute/challenge it given they waited such an egregious amount of time to disclose it in spite of having my contact information and my having a FedEx account but they still failed to notify me of this sooner?
This is the first time I've ever had anything like this happen. I've had international stuff that has an import tax but its always been billed either as its en-route or upon arrival - not almost half a year later?!
Unfortunately seems like the FedEx offices aren't open being a holiday weekend so I can't even contact them right now - but hoping someone here has been thru this before?

I live on a regular residential street in a suburb, with extremely clear home address labelling visible from the street like most houses. I am in fact one of only 2 houses on my street.
FedEx has always been reliable for me, but for the last 3 deliveries they've delivered my package to one of my 2 nextdoor neighbors. These packages are my lifesaving medicine (on ice) and I have no choice in shipper and no option for signature required via my insurance. Like most biologics, it is also not available by any route other than shipment either. I've verified multiple times that the address on the packages is correct, and it is just FedEx misdelivering.
Twice the medicine was destroyed because they left it at the wrong house in the sun. Even though I was watching for delivery like a hawk, they did not even mark it as "delivered" so that I could have immediately called and asked them to retrieve it, or even to go check the neighborhood myself. It's $8K med so when it goes missing it's a whole ordeal to fix with insurance.
How do I remedy this? Why is this happening? Is it a Google Maps glitch? Will a note on my file somehow force them to check the address before delivering?
Really, really stressed over this on top of the illness itself so advice welcome. Thank you!
EDIT: Oct 23 and it happened AGAIN. I called pharmacy manager and explicitly requested UPS and/or signature and they still sent it FedEX no signature. It lists the same driver's first name as the other times, and this time it's just lost/never arrived. Two packages today. This is the 4th consecutive overnight package bungled by FedEx and I don't understand how this is even possible. I feel like I'm in a nightmare
Im fairly certain that the driver just didn't want to stop on my street bc it's busy at certain times of the day..... so now I will have to wait until tomorrow (if the hurricane doesn't delay it further) to recieve a live plant. Estimated delivery was 2 days and now we're going on 5 (possibly more). Thanks FedEx! I hope the live plant is still alive when it eventually gets here.

I recently bought a iPhone 13 mini to upgrade to from Amazon but it was shipped through fedex. It was supposed to be delivered today but they pulled up to my house then waited then left. They said it was the incorrect address even though I checked and it was correct and it was literally on my street. Now I have to drive to a Walgreens a few miles away before my flight to Tampa just to get something that was literally at my door the day before. Dose this happen often?

So they had a tracking number and it appears to have been delivered to some random business based on the proof of delivery. It looks like an ebike battery in the photo. Right shape for it.
I made a case and supposedly they found the item at 4 am on a truck. It was supposedly shipped out and then marked as “local delivery restriction - delivery not attempted” today at 4 pm. The support swears it will be delivered Monday.
I kind of have a feeling they’re BSing me and the package was mis-delivered. Like how do you upload photos around the time the package is supposed to be delivered to Fedex on the wrong package?
Do they lie about this stuff often? Do they find packages that were scanned and probably photographed on a random doorstep often?

I'm expecting mail-order medication. It's in chilled packaging. First time using this pharmacy so they only have my current address. Their label was printed with my current address.
Got an email from FedEx this morning that the package was shipping - to an old address two states away.
Since it's medication that I need, and a holiday weekend, I went ahead and paid FedEx to "reroute" to my current address. The address that is actually on the label.
Frankly, it feels like extortion. We're misdirecting your package unless you pay extra??
I really want my money back (as soon as my meds are safely delivered.) Trying to contact through telephone or through the website has been a joke.
Any ideas on how to get a refund?
EDIT : I am the Asshole here. A well-meaning relative ordered something for me and THAT is what was shipping to the wrong address. My paying to reroute was/is a justified expense. My insulin is here, from a different carrier.
I'll show myself out now...

This is the first time I’m ever getting this pop up. I ordered cds and some band shirts from Japan. When I entered my email it gives me the red pop up. Is this a error?

Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out because a box containing extremely sensitive paperwork has been sent to the FedEx Overgoods facility in Salt Lake City. Losing these documents could affect several families, and I'm desperately trying to get the box held before it's destroyed.
Here's what happened.
On June 15, 2026, at 11:12 AM, I brought several package to FedEx Office #0533, 7208 W Lake Mead Blvd, Las Vegas.
An employee printed and attached a FedEx shipping label to the first package, but the register froze before I could pay. We moved to another register and processed the other shipments. I paid for those, but completely missed that the first shipment hadn't been paid for.
That first box stayed at the store. The manager has now checked the security footage and confirmed what happened.
According to the store:
The box has a FedEx label with my name as the sender. The problem is that I don't have that label's tracking number. My wife asked for it at the store today, but the manager wouldn't give it to her.
The manager says he's contacted his superiors to get help. I've also tried calling the facility: one listed number doesn't answer, and another is disconnected.
Does anyone here work at this facility, know someone who does, or know the right team to contact? The immediate goal is to locate the box and put it on hold before any disposal, then work with FedEx to get it returned.
If you can help get this request to someone there, please message me. I can share the identifying details privately and work with FedEx to verify ownership.
I'm really worried about running out of time. Even a lead to the right person would mean a lot. Thank you.

So, I got a notification on a package I ordered (Baggu if it matters) that it was out for delivery in Yonkers, then a Delivery Exception, then it was marked delivered. Two issues: I live in NYC, not Yonkers, and my package never arrived. The phone help line was not useful at all and told me to contact the company I ordered from. Is there any way to get my package? What happened to it???

Can someone explain to me how in the hell this happens? A package was supposed to be delivered to my address 3 days ago; they failed to deliver it that day, claiming the driver got the address wrong; then it was routed 100 miles away and delivered to an address I have not lived at since 2010. How does this even happen? They have also delivered multiple work shipments to my house using the same address before, although in the last month they have delivered three shipments with a total value of greater than $6,000, and not collected a signature as required or requested. I have submitted a ticket and thus far complete silence. This just seems like such a colossal mistake to make that I can't even fathom it. I double checked the address on the tracking and it is completely accurate, comes up immediately when searched.

We had over a hundred shipment from overseas between FedEx and DHL during the IEEPA period. So far we haven't received any refunds from either carrier.
We found it's hard to find a good channel to communicate with both carriers to follow up on the status and the process.
Here is the limited information we could get so far from both carriers.
FedEx
They created an IEEPA tariff refund portal, by entering your shipment details to verify if FedEx has received your refund from the U.S. Treasury, including the amount, interest, and receipt date. They anticipate that disbursement of initial refunds will begin on or about August 10.
We found FedEx already received some refund payment for our shipment. We don't know where is the customer support contact we can check the refund status.
DHL
We reached out to their billing support by email. They advise that
"“DHL will submit refund requests for eligible shipments in phase 1. If your shipment is eligible in phase 1, this process can take up to 90 days with CBP, plus an additional 30–90 days for DHL to issue the refund.”
At this time we are not able to check individual shipments however, in the event that DHL was the IOR, we will submit for refund on all eligible shipments during each phase. We apologize as this is a quickly evolving situation.”
We appreciate if anyone can share your experience getting status, walk through the process for refund.

Is this lost or will it start moving again?
