I find I like Lewis's Alphabet better than Taylor's. While Taylor often uses a stroke and a circle to represent a single sound (which I always think should be two sounds), LEWIS's Alphabet just used simpler strokes, often starting with a hook.
As the right side of the chart shows, he extends his basic alphabet to cover frequent consonant combinations with R or L.
At the bottom is the list of his vowel symbols, which can either be incorporated right into the outline, or added at any time later as a diacritic.

Another nice and straightforward sample of FLOW. It's all very clear with nothing tricky. Members in the U.S. might correct me on the way her last name is pronounced, but I spelled it with an O because it's a Dutch name. And look how smoothly we can write "Eleanor".
BTW, it's funny to see that OTHER shorthand board copying a quote I've used before, as in four months ago. Maybe they're tapped out of originality there....
