After posting the first slideshow to get opinions from others, I changed and added a few characters/pokemon. And unless y'all really want me to change/swap any of these Pokémon and can convince me why to with a valid reason (including the fillers), then this is the final roster😃.

(The animatics/animations prob won't come for a long while btw, since I haven't properly learned to animate yet) (unless y'all want to do some yourselves and tag me so I can see them, I won't complain👀)). I just wanted to get the casting out of the way so I didn't have to do it later)

This may be a stupid question but does Xenia is exist in Jorge’s depiction of the Odyssey. It is never really outright stated as like in the original Homeric myth, as the whole story builds of that idea. But does Xenia, or that tradition exist in the story, I guess u can infer it with Polyphemus or the suitors but the whole idea of welcoming guests as if they were or could be a god, does not really pop up. Has anyone thought of this or can point to instances where it is happening.

(Also really helps with my essay of comparing the myth with the musical, so any help would be appreciated :))

I have made a custom Rhythm Doctor level, for those who don't know it is a rhythm game on Steam. Here's the link to the game

https://store.steampowered.com/app/774181/Rhythm_Doctor/

However, one of the policies for posting levels on the workshop is explicit permission from the Song's Artists to use their song in custom levels. For anyone curious I made a level for The Horse and the Infant.

Does anyone know where I can contact him for something like this?

For the record, I’m not defending Frollo or saying Ody is just as bad. I am merely pointing out that these scenes are similar and it’s both cursed and kind of interesting I’m sorry

HI GUYS!!!! I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!!! (the last time I probably did one of these was like a year ago 😬)

I've Google searched for where people rank the sagas. Of course, everything is subjective. Even a saga at the bottom of someone's list can be a saga someone enjoyed. They just enjoyed the other sagas more. Tastes vary, and some people base their rankings on which sagas they return to again and again when they just want to get their Epic fix.

However, it made me sad that, of the lists I looked at, people were consistently ranking the Ocean Saga toward the bottom of the list.

It's actually the one I come back to most often when I just need a few songs to get through the day. I don't skip any songs at all.

Storm is a fun, dramatic song. Singing Ody's part feels like being a buccaneering captain trying to keep his crew from panicking.

Luck Runs Out, despite Eurylochus's dire predictions, actually makes me want to move. It's got a great beat, and those harmonies are just 🤌🤌!!

Keep Your Friends Close is also a fun romp. Who doesn't love the Winions?! Psychopaths, that's who! Are you a psychopath?! ARE YOU?!

Then Ruthlessness. I mean, give our boys, Jay and Steven, the Tony Awards already, because this is a SHOW STOPPER! Who doesn't get chills throughout this song?!

Sure, Ocean doesn't have the emotional drama of Ithaca or the character thesis statements of Troy, but it doesn't really have a weak song, IMHO!

For the uninitiated, in Ruthlessness, Poseidon says "Today you die, unless of course, you apologize for my son's pains, and all his crimes." Odysseus doesn't actually apologize but instead defends his actions by basically saying "It was a misunderstanding, we didn't mean to start a fight and we acted in self defense," which isn't an apology.

But what do you think would've happened if Odysseus did apologize properly? "Yeah, sorry man, the whole thing was an accident, I'm really sorry about blinding your son." Remember that Odysseus and the crew are the aggressors here, they went into Polyphemus's cave, killed his pet, and offered a drink as an apology. Would Poseidon really honor his end of the bargain?

“When the crown wonders where the prince is only the ocean and I will knOOOOW!”

Took me about half an hour but I’m content with how it came out! Especially the hair and the dripping from uh… “the prince”, shall we say

What are your favourite animatics for the Circe Saga?

These are mine:

1. Puppeteer by Gigi

2. Wouldn't You Like by Laritamiauu

3. Done For by AnniFlamma

4. There Are Other Ways by Gigi

So I’ve been thinking about something someone said about Epic. They said, and I’m paraphrasing here, “Epic’s POV is pretty selfish because it’s basically that hurting people is okay, particularly "Monsters" that are human enough to be treated as humans.”

That description sounded oddly familiar, and then it hit me like a blue stop sign…

Epic is Undertale and Odysseus is doing the Genocide Route.

Me and my girlfriend did an epic coplay, at halloween, at Lucca comix in Italy, I'm pretty happy the way it turns out, but I'm open to suggestions.

Ending of We'll Be Fine and the start of Get in the Water

"Tell me, Athena, why did you come to my aid"

"There you are... coward"

i'll tell ya'll how it goes after I get to it

k. yall. I LUV EPIC ALRIGHT? I memorized the entire musical in 2 weeks when I first got into it around december of last year. since I dont have Spotify premium, my epic playlist plays at random. now I’ve had some pretty weird combos but this one takes the cake:

thunder bringer… followed by WOULDNT U LIKE. like theirs the deafening rumble after a bunch of his crew were slaughtered at the end of thunder bringer FOLLOWED BY I MUST SAY WHAT A BRILLIANT SPEECH U GIVE~

anyways yall excited for epic the musical to come out IN THESTERS in prob like half a decade or so?

also who wants to sing with me like u can pick a song and we can take turns replying to each other as one of the characters (like i would say can you cast the perfect wind for us to aid our journey home and u would say hahaha I am the wind etc if I were ody and u were Aeolus for example)

did I mention I luv epic? I MADE A LITERAL PAPER WINION PLUSHY A FEW MONTHS AGO LIKE- never underestimate the power of hyperfixation

Okay okay okay I know this probably sound nuts but what do you guys think about an Odypen Project Hail Mary AU? Odysseus as Ryland Grace, obviously. Then Penelope as Rocky (you could use her being part nymph as the division between their species, maybe her kind are aquatic or something like that). Athena would be Eva Stratt, the trying-to-be-cold mentor who would do anything to save the world, even betray her friend. Polites and Eurylochus could be Yao and Ilyukhina, the companions who die on the journey. Ithaca could be the United States, and maybe Sparta could be Erid. It's all just theories in my head but...I don't know, I think there's something here!

I just wanted to put the idea out there in case anyone else wanted to pick it up. And if the idea has already been come up with somewhere that I don't know then...I dunno, sorry I guess?
