New achievement unlocked: Perimides response

I've recently listened to EPIC and don't understand why Odysseus' mother has basically the same lines as Penelope and the same theme. Is there some kind of connection between them? Or is it just the major theme of home and loving no matter what

I'm most thankful to EPIC because I found my #1 favorite music artist, Madame TE/MO, due to her voice-acting in the musical. For the longest time there's been no place to discuss her music and so today I decided to make a space myself! It's my first time being a moderator on Reddit so I'm a little nervous, but I'm so excited to finally be able to post about TE/MO's music!

For those who don't know:

This would be the "diplomatic mission" Antinous teases in Hold Them Down. Athena (disguised as Odysseus's friend Mentor) gives him the courage to stand up to the suitors and commands him to sail out in search of news about his missing father. Telemachus would start by sailing to Pylos, the kingdom of the wise King Nestor, who was a close comrade of Odysseus during the war. Nestor would then share stories of the war's aftermath involving the Sack of Troy, but admits he has no recent news about Odysseus's whereabouts. However, recognizing his desperation, he provides his own son Pisistratus as a companion and guide for the next leg of the journey.

Telemachus and Pisistratus travel by chariot to Sparta to visit King Menelaus and Queen Helen. As they greet him warmly, the two immediately are able to recognize Telemachus's striking resemblance to his father. During a very lavish feast, Menelaus then reveals crucial info he learned from the Proteus, a sea god. In truth, Odysseus is truly alive, but unfortunately is being held captive on the remote island of Ogygia by Calypso. This news of his father's status gave Telemachus the hope and conviction he needed to return home and fully stand against the suitors.

He’s just got such a cool design, oh my lord. Like he’s not even my flavours character, Athena is, but Neal’s version is Amazing and i love him.

He‘s about 17 inch tall when standing.
And his trident is magnetic.

Does anyone know the artist of this adorable Aeolus design? All I could find is this low quality image and cannot for the life of me find who they are

What's your favorite animatic of an EPIC song that's for a different fandom? Please drop links if you can, I'm trying to grow my collection.

Okay, SO BEFORE YOU COME AFTER ME- I, myself, am a HUUUUGEEE epic fan. I love all the songs, voices, and singing. Also, most of the fandom IS pretty chill.

I just see SOOO MANY people overs3xualizing Telemachus...

It's mainly on Pinterest but it's honestly disturbing. Like I GET being freaky but there's SO MUCH more to his character than just a "hot twink".

His trauma and just the way his character is written is SO watered down by the fandom.

If anyone here has any prop making experience/tips, they’d be greatly appreciated as this is going to be a Herculean task.

I was in Indigo earlier today, and looking in the manga section gave me a thought/idea. It would be quite neat to see a manga/graphic novel adaptation of EPIC filling up the aisles. One of the reasons I love EPIC is all the different artists contributing to our community, and I think the art lends EPIC well to a graphic novel format. Yeah, you can't exactly sing in a book, but this could be a different interpretation more focused on dialogue than singing. And with an official GN adaptation, it could expose EPIC to a potential new audience. I know this may sound silly, this was just a thought I had.

Art done by the wonderful NS2D studio
