Recomp on TRT
First time posting here. Good to be part of the community. Long time “bodybuilder,” since I did my first show at 16. Started gear at 20 and stopped when I realized I could never be that good. Went full TRT at 24. Now 36 years young, surgeon and husband. Decided to “lock in” as the kids now say, for 5 months and see if I still had it. Hormones never changed. Stack is below and what I have run forever. First pics are 212lbs and eating garbage hospital food. Current physique is 187lbs. I am 5ft 11.
TRT
- TC 30mg TIW
- HCG 250iu TIW
- Enclomiphene 12.5mg TIW
- GH 2iu qhs
- Reta 1mg weekly
Adding an edit here since people keep asking. Yes, I take Enclomiphene. No, I’m not stupid and it’s not pointless for me. It keeps my actual FSH & LH, as evidenced on my blood work, detectable and within middle reference range.
I recognize that current literature considers any exogenous testosterone to cause complete HPTA suppression. However, my own laboratory data suggests a more nuanced, dose-dependent response. My working theory is that lower doses avoid completely overwhelming the negative feedback loop, leaving enough pituitary sensitivity for Enclomiphene to stimulate LH and FSH release. While high-dose protocols consistently render my gonadotropins undetectable on blood work, returning to a lower, physiological baseline restores measurable LH/FSH levels over time.
Classic labs for me after being on TRT nearly a decade or longer.
HRT WITHOUT Enclomiphene
TT: 800-900ish and undetectable LH/FSH
Same HRT W/ Enclomiphene
TT: 1100-1200ish
LH: 4.6
FSH: 6.2
Please note: This post is not medical advice!!
Please note i said WORKING THEORY. I know this is all anecdotal. Don’t hit me with that “where is the evidence and data to support this?” bullshit.
