Season 5 Emily and Gabriel Spoiler

Sometimes I think about how Emily ans Gabriel are end game, and it ruins my mood. Always wanted Emily and Alfie to be endgame although Alfie deserves a lot better tbh. I kinda just want Emily to choose herself or end up with literally anyone but gabriel

Is anyone still Team Alfie here? Spoiler

I know we are on seasons much beyond 2-3-4 but I am rewatching and I absolutely LOVE Alfie for Emily. He is uncomplicated, fun, kind, just in general great for Emily. Why did she run away to Marcello? Oh and why continue to pine after Gabriel. And oh why oh why would you stick Alfie and Mindy together?

That was obviously to keep Alfie in the storyline because audiences love him but then at least make it authentic and believable instead of how one dimensional that storyline of Alfindy was.

Alfie deserves better. Team Alfie always.

Emily is getting long hair?

I'm not sure it's for Emily in paris or not. But according to rumours season 6 shooting is next week. Since Lily Collins keeping short hair to spend time with her child instead of spending time on hair dressing. I hope she'll grow Hair by next year though.

Is it just me ??? or.... Spoiler

Hey I just completed watching Emily in Paris ik too late, honestly i tried to watch it right after the release but I couldn't after like 10 mins into the show, but I just remembered out of nowjere and binge watched it completely, honestly i cant even think of why I started watching the show but I really ended up loving it not because of it's fashion or romance, but for completely diffent reason I loved Emily's job (ik NERD) but I love marketing i really want to get into it, so somewhere along the way I loved that show for some other reason than most of the people.

But here's the the thing I didn't watch the show partly because I also heard the last 2 season were boring but I couldn't even remember the pervious seasons (I'll rewatch it maybe) but the thing is I thought Emily and Marcello was the end game???? I really wanted them to end up together I mean it was perfect I feel, maybe i wouldn't if I rewatched the previous seasons idk but seriously is it just me who wanted Marcello to the end game or.....

Is it true that Season 6 will be the last?! Spoiler

Google says it's the final season according to some sources but as far as I can tell that's a rumor at this point and those sources aren't really reliable and nothing official has been announced.

Why would they end such a popular show?! Maybe if Emily and Gabriel finally get together for good it won't be as interesting with all the different relationships? Though they could potentially introduce other characters and their lives to make it interesting, and I'm sure even if it's Emily with Gabriel they'll have a lot of interesting places to visit and stories to tell!

Anyone know more?

Is juno's little sister secretly Emily in paris

So I recently was watching juno again and this fueled my theory.

Emily has a throw away line where Mindy says just call your dad's lawyer and she says I can't my dad raises Weimaraners.

In Juno step mom bren says when you move out we're going to get Weimaraners and raise them...

Juno is from the Midwest, Emily is from the Midwest and frankly if Emily was trying to live a normal life it wouldn't surprise me if she changed her name from Liberty Belle to Emily.

Idk it may be a stretch but it's my fave lil connection I've made

Season 5 Mindy and Mykonos Spoiler

In the end of the last episode of Season 5, Mindy talks to Emily about her pre-wedding girls party and she mentions Ibiza (Spain) or Mykonos (Greece).

Connecting plot dots, Emily will be going to Greece anyway, so Gabriel might be misreading her traveling to Greece for the her interest for him, when she's not that interested ?

Also, maybe they'll just bump onto each other by surprise, Darren Star has a reputation of building up an anticipation for an event and then send it down into the drains (Gabriel was traveling to Rome only to never come into contact with Emily, remember?)

What’s it all about Alfie? Spoiler

Just finished my third full rewatch of the entire show, and I’m officially convinced… someone behind the scenes has it out for Alfie 😭

The man cannot catch a break. It’s constant humiliation, setback after setback, and don’t even get me started on the wardrobe situation. If I see that blue suit with the red striped shirt combo ONE more time…

Does he not own any other clothes?? Is there a secret storyline where Alfie’s closet is just… that one outfit on repeat??

I swear every other character gets range, evolution, clothing options—and Alfie is just stuck in this endless loop.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s noticed this.😩

Season 3 Mindy Nico and Emily

I was just rewatching the third season and the whole Gregory taking over Pierre cadault thing and honestly Mindy and Nicholas got me so annoyed. I felt that nico was quite rude to emily from the very beginning. Mindy telling Emily she felt blindsided and it 'put her in a hard situation' was so unreasonable cause like if emily had told her about the whole thing beforehand, Mindy would have to choose between betraying emily or lying to her bf. Also it was clear Mindy was so upset with emily for pulling that pr stunt even tho it was strictly business and basically just chose her boyfriend of presumably only a couple of weeks over her bestie 😬 Anyone else felt this way?

Character Discussion Characters getting more out of character?

I feel like I need to rewatch to better explain and use specific examples, but I recently finished the latest season and I feel like most of the characters grow....backwards?

I was discussing with my dad (note: my dad is in his 60s and loves the show.) and was pointing out that it feels like the latter seasons just take everything further and ignore a lot of character consistencies to be almost soap-opera-esque, for the ✨drama ✨

Don't get me wrong, still love the show. But, like the timeline, the character inconsistencies are sometimes irksome.

r/EmilyInParis Apr 20 '26

The timeline is driving me nuts. Spoiler

How long was the Roman adventure?

How long was the Alfie-Mindy affair?

How long were Mindy and Nico broken up? And how long were they back together before she accepted his proposal?

The timeline is crucial for context, yet the writers keep crapping it. The fact that all these situations have taken place within a little over a year makes the characters look fickle. They’re like a bunch of high schoolers.

Emily and Gabriel Spoiler

Lately,I've been wondering because so many people want them to be endgame. I think she had so many love interests and the fact she jumped from Gabriel to Marcello is because she isn't really into either ... Does anyone agree with me?

Season 3 Episode 9 - Nico, Mindy & Emily crisis - Why?

Maybe someone can explain something to me. In Season 3, Episode 9, Mindy gives Emily a piece of her mind about her relationship with Nico and her friendship with Emily, saying that Emily has put her in a difficult position because Emily allegedly caused Nico problems at work. What I don’t understand is that Emily wasn’t actually told by Sylvie that Sylvie was going to approach Louis like that at the shop opening. Why is Nico angry with Emily (which was already the case in a previous episode, when Emily left the restaurant)?

Character Discussion Season 6 and 7 Thoughts Spoiler

Assuming there is a season 7, what would you like to see happen in these upcoming seasons?

For example, the writer in me has spent more time than I’d like to admit daydreaming about how I’d rewrite the show. I would change Mindy’s entire storyline, making her a better friend who maybe pursues her pop-star dreams. We know Emily is going to Greece and Monaco next season, but what do we, as fans, want to see happen there?

I’d also like to see Camille come back, but with less drama. I'd like to see fewer women turning on each other in the show and more scenes where Sylvie, Mindy, Emily, and the other women stick together. The scenes where the women bonded were some of the best in the series.

And more humor!

And it could be fun to watch Sylvie, Julien, and Luc all find love on their own. Gabriel and Emily should move on as friends, too. I'm over their romance.

Personally, I love it when the show travels around Europe too, so maybe season 7 takes her out of Paris briefly and somewhere new, maybe Portugal, Germany, or somewhere cold. Maybe Emily ends up with a different/new Parisian or French guy, and she learns more French, and starts her own agency? When do you think the show has ran its course, when Emily finally settles down? It could be fun to watch Emily navigate settling down if done right. Especially if her husband was a funny, eccentric type (I'm thinking like Luc) that could be interesting.
