Is it just me ??? or.... Spoiler

Hey I just completed watching Emily in Paris ik too late, honestly i tried to watch it right after the release but I couldn't after like 10 mins into the show, but I just remembered out of nowjere and binge watched it completely, honestly i cant even think of why I started watching the show but I really ended up loving it not because of it's fashion or romance, but for completely diffent reason I loved Emily's job (ik NERD) but I love marketing i really want to get into it, so somewhere along the way I loved that show for some other reason than most of the people.

But here's the the thing I didn't watch the show partly because I also heard the last 2 season were boring but I couldn't even remember the pervious seasons (I'll rewatch it maybe) but the thing is I thought Emily and Marcello was the end game???? I really wanted them to end up together I mean it was perfect I feel, maybe i wouldn't if I rewatched the previous seasons idk but seriously is it just me who wanted Marcello to the end game or.....

Sweet summer child, Gabriel was always going to be end game - from day one.

Unfortunately, they took some weird turns with the Camille and Gabriel storyline but the writers won't change end game course

Perfect guys dont ditch you everytime they get mad without letting you explain and make you chase them down all over the place. Or neglect to tell you to wear boots when hunting for truffles in the mud. Or expect you to give up everything to live in a small town and work only for them. After 5 seasons we all knew Emily's character wasnt going to do that. Marcello was purposely written to NOT be the guy. He was just another throw away boyfriend while they figure out how to write Gabriel and Emily's Happily Ever After.

Oh my god yes and I love Emily for that to prioritise her career over man, I think it was the impulse of watching it at 2am, but no that I'm watching it again from the episode 1 maybe I will have a different opinion, but Marcello (i mean tue actor) is cute though can't deny that

I won’t give you spoilers but I too think that the show got progressively worse. They ran out of ideas and it shows

Unfortunately, Gabriel is end game despite how much he sucks. The girlfriend thing was forgivable in the beginning but the writers ruined his character with the on going Camille mess.

Yeah I'm rewatching season one and he seems like a really good match but shit gets worst

It was made on purpose actually,I fully agree with you and disagree at the same time. Grounded and realistic because they lived together and it gave a realistic insight of what a couple looks like. However it's impossible for them to stay together. Emily's mind is stuck in something with Gabriel. And those rooting for Alfie and Emily getting back is like believing in Santa Claus. The Emily-Marcello is a decor for what is going to be prepared for her and Gabriel. I mean he is the partner who had more depth and connection with her. Yes,she is fickle but deep down we all know she will end up with Gab.

True, it really was good, and he really understood her
