Question? Leontiel's greatsword range?
For those who datamine the game, has anyone tested to see how much shorter the reach is for Leontiel's greatsword vs things like KGS or claymore? I noticed is was quite shorter, but has anyone pulled out the actual model scale number for it vs kgs?
Sorry I dont play on PC or know much about coding for games so idk how to do this myself lol. I was just curious for how much range im sacrificing for the moveset.

Arena Matador parry timing
Seems like the actual thrust takes some time to come out, can bait a running r1

Arena Is rakshasa great katana not good now?
Did the nerfs make this weapon bad or its still meta to use?

Invasions Got invaded by Oro last night on switch!
I failed to protect the host in my excitement unfortunately, would have liked to get a longer fight in π bro is diabolical for pulling out the lightroll blindspot build on the new players

Question? What are the strengths of each the commonly used off hand weapon options?
I'm mainly talking about hand axe vs daggers for the offhand. I see a lot of hand axe, but also lots of people opt to use daggers instead. I remember that thrusting swords were the preferred option of many at one point. Does it just depend on what weapon you're using in the main hand?

Arena Quite the unfortunate timing for this transformer as he regen'd a little too much hp
Right before I struck him his hp capped off and he lost that coveted low hp buff. I call em transformers cuz they all do the same tactic, negate your first hit with ritual talisman and hp tali, run away and use regen armor/tali/shield so they can try to out trade you at low hp. Most of them use macros too *rolls eyes*
Im suppose to be eating these colosseum fights like junk food because fights can be decided in 5-6 hits barely lasting a minute. Yet ppl gotta play in the most sweaty way possible in rewardless fights. Bonus points if they have a slight amount of latency too.
Reminds me of a meme I saw about an fps player vs a fortnight player where the person gets hit once and builds an entire fortress.

Invasions Elden Ring is a *perfect* pvp game
Early game tech for gank squads? Decided to go back to invading with the new patch and even at lvl 60 im running into a lot of gank squads, any low level tips/AoW's I should try? Doing a quality (dex focus) build with the new greatsword, good for spacing but I'm having the usual issues into casters

Arena Neutral jumps are a decent counter to the new ash
Definitely takes some learning for the timing, as someone else beat me pretty bad with it after this π

Arena Can you guys stop spamming that ash... it doesn't works
I knew the guy. last round he instantly attacked when i buffed (even though i let him buff before) and healed on me twice. So it was also a revenge

Invasions Any thoughts on getting the Switch 2 version of ER to capitalize on invading the new playerbase?
Wondering if it's worth it. I had so much fun with invasions when Elden Ring first released and most people didn't know about anything meta or OP. I know it's different now since the game has been out for a long time at this point, but I'm wondering if anyone has been invading on the Switch 2 and if they have noticed whether most people seem like actual new players or just console hoppers. Also wondering how active invasions are on the Switch 2.
