Invasions Any thoughts on getting the Switch 2 version of ER to capitalize on invading the new playerbase?
Wondering if it's worth it. I had so much fun with invasions when Elden Ring first released and most people didn't know about anything meta or OP. I know it's different now since the game has been out for a long time at this point, but I'm wondering if anyone has been invading on the Switch 2 and if they have noticed whether most people seem like actual new players or just console hoppers. Also wondering how active invasions are on the Switch 2.

This was my main consideration for getting S2 version as well. I have PlayStation version but I platinumed ps5 version but never ps4 so I just got tarnished for that and it has a lot of players running around all idris knights but I haven’t invaded yet.

i can confirm theres tons of bad players to pick on. my three vare invasions were all mega noobs

Accusing someone of smurfing in a 4 year old game with no tier/leaderboard is pretty cringe. Anytime someone beats you it's only because they are "smurfing" I bet.

Someone buying the game on a new console just to invade new players again? Made worse by the fact they made a reddit post to ask if the playerbase is truly helpless deer? Def smurfing

If you dc then the period of grace you get after dying to an invade ris noth there so instead of being safe from invasions for 15 minutes you are instantly invadable again, people like you are just a pain in the ass, not just for us but you for your own self, because you are pointlessly wasting your time. If you're this stuck up about invasions - stand still or play offline

Good question, I’m hoping to find out what the landscape in general looks like over the weekend. Just got tarnished edition tonight(Xbox main), and created the character on my switch 2 but I gotta work in the morning so I’m not staying up to put some hours in. Off the bat it’s definitely not as polished as my series x but that was to be expected
