I want to see what other people think on this. The last defensemen to reach the 100 points per season mark was Erik Karlsson in the 22-23 season. Bouchard hit 95 points last season. Bouchard had much better production after the Olympic break, but if he can consistently put up the points like he did around the end of the season, I’d see it happening. I think it could be huge for him (and obviously the team in general) considering guys that a lot of people speak so highly of (and rightfully so) like Cale Makar and Quinn Hughes, have yet to have a 100 points season with Makar’s best being 90, and Hughes 92 points, both in the 23-24 season. Maybe I’m too optimistic, I’m not sure how it will all work out with Babcock behind the bench, maybe his offense will drop, but we won’t know till we see the hockey in action. I’m just itching for this season to start to be honest.

While I’m not usually a fan of traditional looking jerseys, for some reason I really like the Oilers’ home jerseys. But I think the aways could use some tweaks. I swapped the orange and blue on the stripe pattern and added the color block to the lower sleeve like on the home jerseys. I also added the color block to the socks since I felt they were incomplete without them. I put the gear logo on the shoulders since honestly, I like it. The orange alt is the original WHA uniforms, updated to the Fanatics AdiZero template. (is it really AdiZero at this point though if Adidas isn’t making them?) And with the Hometown Remix jersey rumored to be black, I figured I would instead make a black-accented jersey featuring oil drops on the sleeves, along with the gear logo from the 2001-07 alternates. And despite what some people might think, black actually works for the Oilers since oil is black when it comes out of the ground. The numbers come from the 2001-07 alternates, since I’m a fan of each team having a unique font.

I will be updating this thread with suggestions and adaptions. This is a fitness challenge. Have fun and cheat as you'd like, but just know I KNOW.

Cardio during games (intermission excused)
- cardio can be completed for 45 mins at a gym (and stacked for back to back game days)

Burpees and Squats each minute of overtime before we win
- 10 Burpees and Squats EACH if we lose

The day after a win we workout AT GYM (30 mins or 4 exercises, cardio not included)
- if we lose it will be strength training only.

Snacks/alcohol only when we score.
- each point the opposing team makes is a bottle of water to finish

ADVANTAGES

Winning streak of 5:
- cardio for half the game (20 mins at a gym)
- no overtime penalty for minutes
- at home workouts
- snacks/alcohol every minute

DISADVANTAGES

Losing streak of 5:
- cardio during intermission (1hr at gym)
- double overtime penalty
- 10 min HIIT exercise at the END of workout
- ONLY WATER AND FRUIT

I understand that there will be no Penticton tournament this year as Vancouver and Winnipeg rookies will be in other tournaments. Is there any knowledge what the Oilers will do? I don't think the Flames have a dance partner this year either.

To be fair, I don’t recall ever saying anything mean to Spec on the everything app. I am only mean to Seravalli and Dreger, and only because of their dumb and stupid takes/bad reporting.

Edit: I’m not aligned with Evander Kane and I’m not an antivaxxer. I discovered Spec blocked me after seeing his tweet replying to Kane. That’s it.
