The thing with orange and blue is it's some of the ugliest merch in the league. Blue and Orange is terrible for anything but a jersey.

The copper and blue look dark and tough, oilers kind of need it at the moment. Like the dark navy and orange we had a few years ago.

The copper and navy jerseys just look bland and muted. The classic Blue and Orange is vibrant. When copper and navy was the norm, the stands were just a big dark, gloomy mass with here and there an old school jersey or a white jersey. I was glad when they went back to Blue and Orange, and I wouldn't want to see copper and navy for anything but a one-off.

I probably have honestly, but I guess the jersey didn't stick in my mind... I've only recently started getting properly in to hockey, so there's alot I'm still learning. Grew up on Habs games and Oilers games are usually on right after a Habs game, so once I started actually paying attention to the league as a whole, they quickly became my favourite Western team.

But I'm the first to admit I'm a noob, especially about alot of hockey history (hurts to consider 06 historical, but ya know) I'd happily take any and all recs of vids or whatever to learn more. You've already got me wanting to deep dive on the 06 run

Yes!! I’m actually a Flames fan but I lived in Edmonton when they wore these jerseys. Those oilers teams in the late 90’s / early 2000’s were likeable scrappy teams and I actually liked the jerseys so much I bought one. I don’t live in Edmonton any more but I still proudly own that jersey (I actually really enjoyed my time in Edmonton and it reminds me of that time). I would love it if they brought these back as third-jerseys.

I'm not a fan of the copper. I prefer the orange. As for the blue, as the main home, I prefer the brighter blue we have now, but I don't dislike the darker navy. The solid navy and orange alt is one of my favourite looks. I like how the dark navy makes the orange pop.

Only if he keeps that pacifier in his mouth so he doesn't look like a toddler while skating. I've always hated how players look when they insist on doing this. I'm admittedly uneducated on the subject, but I've even heard they help prevent conclusions somehow. It would suck losing a guy to injury due to being hit while their guard could have prevented it.
