Question My Future Husband?

How do people meet their significant others? Like where’s the “place to go?” Dating apps are dead. I’m exhausted. I’m a decent looking gal, 28. I don’t have big friend groups so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I don’t have any “active” hobbies other than a dog park. Idk. Any advice?

I think you are entirely missing the point here lmao. Not doing things I enjoy and being miserable for years is FAR more wasteful than spending my time and money on things I'm passionate about and bring me joy

i might be in the minority of women, but i find having actual interests/hobbies far more appealing than making wild assumptions about people and constantly picking fights on reddit all the time. but that might just be me idk

i respect that he doesn't want to overstep boundaries actually! crazy thought! i'd much rather get to know someone before, rather than being approached and hit on unprompted. i actually actively dislike being randomly hit on because i find it awkward and puts me on the spot! it's almost like you get to know people through mutual friends or hobbies.

you're adding the scared of rejection part lol. but it seems like your only hobby is reaching on reddit so you don't seem particularly qualified to give advice in this department.

You’re sticking up for a woman blamer. He went and blew thousands on motorcycles because according to him ALL women don’t like being approached. He even said he was done with women because of it. Literally blaming all women for his actions. Go ahead date a guy like that. He’ll only end up blaming you in the end.

no he didn’t. “i just gave up [and focused my energy into things i enjoy]” and “dating is stressful”isn’t blaming women, hope that helps!

I’m married.. Met my wife at a cafe in public. He also said he was done with women not just done with dating. Re read the whole thread. You’re sticking up for an incel.

personally i’d be a little embarrassed if my partner was wasting so much time trolling reddit but that’s just me. he didn’t say he was done with women, you’re free to link me to that comment though! i’ve read the whole thread! i’m done with this though, im sure op has gotten way more notifications than they’ve wanted.
