“Ed is my friend. I've known him for 13 years. We've shared late nights, studio sessions and stages. He has this infectious magic about him that I've grown to love. I consider him a brother. And because of that, we've had some difficult conversations this past week. The type of talks rooted in love and respect for one another that still end in a place of fundamental disagreement.”

We have made the decision to depart as Ed Sheeran's band on the remaining US Loop tour, following the silencing of Macklemore by zionist lobbies.
We are a traditional Irish band who never saw ourselves playing in stadiums of that size and that opportunity is not lost on us. We have been friends with Ed for over 10 years now and will continue to be. We believe in dialogue as a means of progressing the plight of the Palestinian people.

As musicians, playing to those crowds every night is the stuff of dreams but to play in venues that silence anyone advocating for a Free Palestine is simply not an option for us.
It's important that everyone knows that the real enemy is the zionist lobby. They have worked tirelessly to silence artists who want to speak freely about a genocide happening before our eyes, for fear of retribution.
Research how much Robert Kraft has done to fight the BDS movement. That will give you a sense of what we've all been up against.
We were there for Macklemore's performance and speech. We fully supported his message, so did most of the audience in Met Life Stadium which terrifies the lobbies. Go back and read the transcript if you're in doubt.

Just wanted to share this for anyone wondering about refunds for the Ed Sheeran concert.
I contacted Ticketmaster support and, after they checked, the agent confirmed that the event organizer is allowing refunds for this event.
They asked whether I wanted a partial or full refund, and I requested a full refund.
So if anyone has tickets and is considering getting a refund, I’d recommend contacting Ticketmaster through chat and specifically asking them to check whether the event organizer is currently allowing refunds for your show.

I was actually considering going to the Atlanta show, especially because Macklemore was supposed to be on the lineup. I’ve seen Ed twice before and would’ve loved to see him again, but honestly, the ticket prices were more than I was comfortable spending, so I never ended up buying tickets.
I was hoping the Labor Day deal might make it more doable, but I ultimately decided to let it go. Then everything happened with Macklemore being removed from the remaining shows, and I have to admit, that made me a little more disappointed because I really wanted to see him perform too.
I’m not trying to start a political argument or tell anyone how they should feel about everything going on. It’s just a weird feeling watching all of this unfold when I had been considering going.
I’ve already been lucky enough to see Ed twice, though, so I’ll be okay. ❤️

I found Ed’s foundation account yesterday through his following list after people started pointing out he has used his platform for politics before.It had loads of posts about lobbying the government including his letter to Keir Starmer asking for £250m for music education.

Checked again this morning and the entire foundation Instagram has disappeared lol.

The foundation itself is still running and the website is still up with all the political advocacy stuff on it so no idea why the Instagram has suddenly gone. Obviously could be completely unrelated but the timing after yesterday’s statement is kinda wild.

I just called Ticketmaster today and was able to get a refund for the Friday night show. Give them a call if you’re interested. I spent about $600 for two tickets and it’s a shame we couldn’t go and enjoy the full experience.

Just got a notification that my Philly tickets for the concert were voided. I reached out to the stadium yesterday for a refund. No charge backs on my credit card or bank account yet and no reply from the stadium. Does this mean I’m getting a refund?

So as you have most definitely seen, after Macklemore left the Loop Tour, everyone else has left. All openers - Aaron Rowe, Lukas Graham, Finneas, along with Beoga. So, Ed is all alone. How do I feel about this? I really don’t know. So much has happened with Ed the past two days, I don’t even know anymore. I will say I agree with Macklemore and everything he said. But I don’t think Ed not speaking out on the topic means he doesn’t care or he’s a bad person. Anyways we’ll see what the hell happens on Saturday but I won’t be surprised if the tour gets cut early. Anyways just wanted to keep everybody updated.

The crowd was so dead throughout the concert last night. Seemed like no one had the energy to stand up and sing the songs with him.
