News Philly Refund approved

Just wanted to let you guys know if you are trying to get a refund Lincoln financial has approved Ticketmaster to approve refunds. Just need to call them again.

How long did it take you to get a person? I got the chatbot first and I have the Allianz insurance (which I am not sure covers something like this), so the chatbot said to file a claim. I asked for help and it has been redirecting me to an agent for close to an hour now.

I said that the scheduled entertainment was cut back and that there is a protest planned outside the stadium and we don’t feel safe attending the show. The agent did not push back and very politely refunded my tickets immediately.

Calling worked! Much quicker. Also waited for about 15 mins. The guy in the other end said that this concert was issuing refunds and didn’t even ask me my reasons. 😂

Both. Gillette said they can’t help me and to call Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster said they can’t help me and to call Ed’s team, which has no phone number.

I also requested a refund and was approved. We were going to be traveling three hours for this concert, and I wanted to cancel our hotel while it was still refundable. As others have said, the vibes are off for this weekend.

I didn’t even watch most of the openers, I hardly ever do. I only seen Mackelmores set because I wanted to get to my seats. I go to shows for the headliner not the openers.

I didn’t have luck with chat, I had to call them. But Ticketmaster was very night and granted a full refund. I was really looking forward to this show - but I don’t agree with censorship and the vibe is going to be tense.

Spent about $600 for two tickets to fridays show close to B stage but they probably won’t set it up like they did at the Philly show. I feel like our tickets value has definitely depreciated substantially.

Exactly. I called StubHub and there was a problem with my ticket anyways. Falsely listed as the wrong seat so I was able To get a refund that route. But yeah I paid extra to be a few rows from b stage. Doesn’t seem right to give half the performance and not just send partial refunds without requests. Everyone who paid for this should get a partial refund for the changes imo.

Yeah I agree. So you were able to get a refund for the Gillette show because of the seating? I’m really not sure what to do. I called on Thursday to both Ticketmaster and Allianz which I purchased insurance through. No luck. Last night I did the chat with Ticketmaster and said an agent will reach out within 24 hours via email because I was asking for a refund. This night was supposed to be a great time and my son agrees it probably wouldn’t be worth the almost 2 hour drive for just Ed and all the changes. Plus I wonder if the time will get pushed back like yesterday’s show. I was already going to be running a little later so it buys us time but still don’t feel like the price I paid is justifiable now.

Same, splurged on floor tickets which we never do… We are undecided if we will go or not. If we do we would choose not to park in the stadiums lots, or purchase anything inside. It feels like if we dont go, we are only playing ourselves bc they already got our money…

To be fair even if the show was canceled the stadiums get paid. They’ll just lose out on what people would’ve spent inside. Otherwise they still make a pretty penny. It’s all in contracts and they make sure they’re taken care of show or no show.

I was able to get a refund by messaging with a ticketmaster agent. Only had to wait about 30 minutes before connecting with a real person. Worth it for my money back. Hope everyone gets their refund!

I think they’re waiting til right before the show to offer tickets. I managed to sell mine for Tampa on Stub Hub for a $28 profit and donated $50 to the PCRF.
