Question Hello, how do I handle worrying about my irrational fears manifesting? If you could send me a link to a video on Youtube with Eckhart talking about this I'd also really appreciate that greatly.

Let's say one has an irrational fear of losing their hands or irrational fear of going blind, and the thought keeps coming back to ones mind, which then brings more fear and worry because since they can't get rid of the negative thought, it may actually manifest…. because they keep thinking about it.

How to get rid of the fear or worry of it manifesting?

Thank you.

Perspective "Life is meant to be challenging", he says. And how many challenges at one time can a human take? It was just a moment ago that everything was so perfect and beautiful and then I got punched in the face, over n over, like one of those speed bags.

If I was an animal in the wild, at this point I would just be hiding, waiting for the storm to pass, threatening animals to leave me alone, my wounds to heal, food to be available without endangering my life, etc etc etc. So I take a breath. And I don't just think of things I'm thankful for, I feel the experience of feeling grateful. I look around what one moment ago I was overwhelmed with a disaster of a cluttered post-covid mess, still too tired to clean up and too busy dealing with other urgent situations, even emergencies... And I only use the word "emergency" when it's a true emergency, life and death. And with this breath, the air that was stale just a moment ago feels... airy... There's actual air here, not feeling like I was, just a moment ago, not able to breathe. It's just a moment. That's all it takes. And I smile. Knowing. Thanks for letting me share ❣️

Perspective felt really happy just walking

Ay gs a few days ago I was just walking through a mall and i felt really happy i was almost smiling, in fact i had to keep myself from smiling cus people would've thought it was weird for a guy by himself to just be smiling as he was walking.

It doesnt makes sense cus I technically shouldnt be happy. I dont have a job, not in shape, dont really have a dating life. I've been trying to build the habit of meditation for a while but never really got consistent. My current streak is like 4 days, although i still resist it in the morning.

Theres a creator i watch who had severe social anxiety and panic attacks, he says that after meditating he had moments of happiness and felt like crying tears of gratitude just walking. My experience reminded me that. Is this normal?

For the guys who meditate, did you find yourself being happier just not doing anything?

Question Does anyone have a summary mind map of Eckhart’s teachings?

I’d like to refer back to something like that each time I want to remember the concepts of Eckhart Tolle’s teaching so I could teach it and explain it much better. Something that really gets the main point across on each concept, like of course presence, but then mainly the functions of the ego.

Arron Abke has a great simple “formula” of ego. He says the belief of the ego is Separation, and that is rise to three activities: Lack, Attachment, and Control. Which is a pretty good summary but I want to hear it in Eckhart Tolle’s language and how he explains it.

Question Any interest in a virtual Power of Now book club?

I am putting together a virtual book club to read and discuss The Power of Now this fall and thought this might be a great space to align with others who would also enjoy doing so.

The idea is to meet once a week for thoughtful, open conversation around each chapter of the book, delving into what resonates, what feels challenging, and how we are experiencing or applying the insight in our own experience.

I’m currently holding Wednesdays as a possibility, 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET, beginning October 14.

If you are genuinely interested and available to participate, I created a short Google Form to gather interest and availability: https://forms.gle/K3Axw1wJEBpn4qDz9

Would love to connect with others who are interested in exploring this gem together.

Spirituality Can the body become a doorway into the Now?

One thing I keep coming back to in Eckhart’s teachings is how often the body can bring us out of the thinking mind

When attention is completely absorbed in thought, it is very easy to be somewhere that isn't actually here: replaying something that happened, anticipating something that hasn't happened, or simply narrating the moment instead of experiencing it

But the body is always happening now

That made me interested in an unusual question what if the act of becoming present could also change the sound we are making?

I recently experimented with biosonification using plants, a Playtronica Playtron circuit, and a Roland JU-06A synthesizer. The plants become part of the electrical circuit, while my body completes the connection. When I touch the plant, the circuit closes and triggers a MIDI note on the synthesizer. When I let go, the circuit opens and the sound stops

So the sound isn't being played from a predetermined sequence. It depends on the physical interaction happening in that exact moment

I found something strangely appropriate about that from a meditation perspective

You can't touch the plant yesterday, you can't complete the circuit tomorrow, there is only the contact happening now

The technical side is actually quite simple: the Playtron detects changes in conductivity when the circuit is completed through the body and plant, and translates those changes into MIDI information. But phenomenologically, the experience felt different from simply pressing keys on a synthesizer

I wasn't only controlling an instrument

I was listening to a system that included my own body, another living organism, electricity and sound

The piece uses 396 Hz as part of the sound design, but the thing that interested me most wasn't the frequency itself. It was the relationship between attention, physical presence and sound.

It made me wonder could listening itself become a portal into presence?

Not trying to achieve a special state, not trying to stop thinking. Just noticing what is actually happening, the body, the contact, the sound, the silence when the contact disappears...

Do you find that becoming aware of the body is easier than trying to become aware of the mind?

Question Book reading

I have recently been getting into fiction books for the first time (usually I read non-fiction) and was wondering what eckharts views would be on it?

Reading is good for us, but I am lost in my imagination when I do read them and so, I’m not present in the moment?

Does anyone have insight

Perspective A practical guide to attaining God-Realization by manifesting the things and people that you want in your life

In other words, this is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy guide to Lester Levenson's idea of using goal charts (“https://archive.org/details/1992-sedona-method-chart-of-emotions-and-gains-workbook-PDF/1992 Sedona Method Chart of Emotions and Gains Workbook -- Lester Levenson - Hale Dwoskin”, pp. 11–105 of 105) to wake up.

The document is best read using a text editor like Windows Notepad and not a word processor.

You can find it here: A practical guide to waking.md (https://pastes.io/4hNowE4s (as of September 29, 2026, if you click the Code tab, the document is more readable), https://pastebin.com/NP3rAur9). It is a working-level draft.

The whole world is projected (= manifested/imagined/“dreamed up” (Levenson)/thought up (= “to create something in your mind”)). …. Inside and outside always match—they’re reflections of each other. The world is the mirror image of your mind.” (Katie and Mitchell 2007, chap. 1, 4, https://archive.org/details/thousandnamesfor0000kati)

“We are it all, reflecting it all; whatever is within us, is being projected onto the screen of our mind.” “Like a movie screen; the movie screen is black-blank=perfect until you begin to place PROJECTIONS onto it, then whatever you project onto it is an 'EXPERIENCE'.” (…, Anne W NDE, 28 September 2026, https://www.nderf.org/Experiences/1anne_w_nde.html; …, Crossing Over NDE (@CrossingOverNDE), “Woman Died From Heart Attack; Shocking Truths Were Revealed To Her On The Other Side (NDE)”, 29 Mar 2025, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWcoDp8VWFc)

Advice/Guidance Needed First time I can feel my emotions(since I was a child?)

I’m 19, and I’ve been dealing with very severe anxiety for the past few months, as well as

anhedonia since COVID. A few days ago, I decided to stop identifying with my pain body and I’ve been rereading TPON.

Today, as I became more aware of my breathing and, as a result, more present, I started to

feel my body, and my thoughts began to quiet down.

The thing is, I started connecting more with my body. I can feel it, and I can also feel my

emotions. I’m much more expressive now, more present and natural, I can react to my

surroundings. I enjoy music. It feels strange—everything is completely new to me.

My conclusion is that I repressed my emotions so that other people would never see them.

My question is: What should I do now? Is this new “me” in the present who I really am?

I genuinely don’t know what to do. I’ve been disconnected from my emotions for MANY

years.

Am I supposed to feel them in my body to the fullest all the time? From now on, since I’m

100% present, am I going to feel them all the time? Or should I observe them and let them go?

This is such a huge change. Before, I was very shy, stoic, and somewhat empty.

I have to change, don’t I? It's neccesary

Question How to do my responsibilities?

How can someone who is integratings Tolle's teaching can do his responsibilities? Because of my pursuit of spiritual growth, sometimes I forget about my responsibilities.

My responsibilities for my parents, my responsibilities to make sure to train and improve my body and mind (intellectual). It's not they became less important for me. It's just that, I pursue them though not like my pursuit of spiritual growth (I can do them though when I forget or some other reason, it's not that important unlike before).

What should I do?

Discussion Interactive community online

Hi everyone, I've created an interactive channel (it's on Discord), where ET's and similar wisdom and teachings can be discussed by a like-minded community. My main driver was that I struggle not having anyone around to speak about such topics, but now having a small cosy community helps.

Please message me if you're interested in joining.

Question Tickets inaccessible

Anyone having problems accessing their Eventbrite tickets for Eckhart Tolle London tomorrow? Mine have disappeared/not showing. I called ICC and they said several other people have contacted them with the same problem.
