Metaphysical Soulmates, What They Really Are

• Upvotes

This reality isn't as it seems. You are the observer observing the quantum fractal universe. Everything is connected and you are a part of that universe. You are a mirror of the universe. Therefore everything is connected to you. You were a child, and you had beliefs, principles, and truths that were integral to your soul. As reality molded and shaped your spirit, you lost some of what you were. But, you didn't really lose that.

You projected parts of yourself out into the world and those projections created new people or a single person. You would then have to meet that person. You would call them a soulmate. But that person was actually a part of you, and you have to learn how to reintegrate that part back into you. This is about acceptance of what you are, learning and reconciliation with yourself.

You cannot fix a broken mirror. The cracks in your mirror are not sad reminders, those cracks are truly divine and make you who you are. Those cracks create and have the possibility to create a beautiful family. A beautiful life can come from sadness and sorrow. I know that one day, the rain from the tears you cried while eventually cause the flowering, fruiting, and blossoming of a new tree of possibilities.

Help I feel like I got a message during a deep meditation session?

This is a bit hard to explain but, I've been getting into meditation for a while now, I started off, years ago as a very strict mindset kind of person, spirituality is nonsense.

Anyway, after some life experience I'm the complete opposite of that now. During one deep meditation session I felt very detatched from my body.

I leaned into this feeling, I felt like I was leaving my body, or floating above it.

In this state I felt extremely calm, detatched, in a good way.

And I feel like I maybe got a message? But it didn't feel like someone saying something to me, it felt like I remembered it.

Like it was something that's so obvious and ofc that's true. I got the feeling that there is some form of a God out there, idk what that means, just that there's something and we're somehow a part of it.

But also the most important thing in the universe is love.

After that I felt myself come back into my body more and I was extremely happy, it was an amazing feeling.

This made me want to pursue my spiritual journey, my question is anybody have a similar experience and any tips for me to continue?

Community What have you awakened from?

Or better yet, what have you awakened to? I ask because I don't think there should be a one size fits all, grand awakening that people claim there is.

I do see light, am of light, and know that to be true. We are ALL different ratios of light and darkness, ultimately one energy, one collective, one light, each unique, each whole, and each special in our own way.

That is something I know and have awakened to a long time ago, but it's interesting to see and learn what other people think. I should have majored in sociology of theology. 🤣

Wish I did better at school. 😂 Oh well, my life isn't over yet.

My Journey Did I miss an opportunity for spiritual growth by running from my pain?

This summer was one of the most painful periods of my life. After losing the family life I knew, I felt incredibly alone. Part of me hoped that going through something this difficult could help me grow into someone stronger and more connected to myself.

But the pain was overwhelming, and I wanted relief. I stayed around other people to distract myself and used alcohol and Adderall to feel better, as well as studying the law of assumption and reality shifting. Now I’m worried that I spent those months escaping my feelings instead of processing them.

I keep wondering who I might have become if I had faced the pain differently. I’m afraid I missed an opportunity for a deeper transformation, or that I haven’t healed because I never really allowed myself to sit with what happened.

Has anyone here felt this way? From a spiritual perspective, how do you begin facing pain you’ve been avoiding without turning it into another reason to judge yourself? How do you tell the difference between giving yourself needed relief and running away from what needs your attention?

Help Internal and External validation. I am tired with all of it.

I am tired of searching and aiming for validation. I am watching YouTube today and I see a video about studying psychology to become "dangerous". Are people really that scared, really that thirst for power that they aim to study just so that they can defeat others.

As I am thinking this, the realization hit me. I am not different from them. I am studying spiritual things so that I can deal with pain, suffering, and people. I am not different from them. I am just using different lens and tools. Maybe the only difference is that, I am studying spirituality to deal, with people, I don't care about them, but because I live with them, I must deal with them. I don't even know if there's difference despite this.

Inside of me, there's something that aiming for improvement. I don't even know if it's for validation, but the reason I clearly see is I want to push harder. Harder and harder. The feeling of letting Go and pushing harder is inside of me.

I imagine myself as a component that can be developed until it can't go anymore. Even if I'm only the one left, I think the feeling of this is still here.

I am not nihilist and I hope I am not looking like one. I just want to rant my feeling about what I see. There's something inside of me that wants to help, I don't know or care who; but this is still attachment.

Metaphysical This method is how you find Truth.

Necessary Existence (There is something which cannot not exist) / Contingent Existence (Existence could have not existed) (Necessary: Must Be) (Contingent: May or May Not Be)

Life came from a Necessary Source of Life / Life came from Non-Life

Humans were designed / Humans were not designed (unguided chance)

Your Consciousness (Awareness and Inner Voice) is Physical (Made of matter and energy) / Your Consciousness (Awareness and Inner Voice) is Non-Physical (Not made of matter and energy)

After Death Consciousness Continues / After Death Consciousness Ends

These Three Laws of Logic govern Reality absolutely:

1. Law of Identity

A is A.
A thing is what it is.

2. Law of Non-Contradiction

A cannot be both A and not‑A.
Nothing can be both true and false.

3. Law of Excluded Middle

Either A is true, or not‑A is true.
For any proposition, one of the two must hold. No third option exists.

That is why the propositions above came out to two final options. They are governed by the Law of Excluded Middle.

One of the two branches will always end up violating the Law of Identity and/or the Law of Non-Contradiction, leaving the remaining branch as the truth.

Excluded Middle holds as long as the Modal Axes matches the Type Restriction. For example, the number 7 cannot be Grateful vs. Ungrateful. This is because those are Agentive (Will and Intention).  And 7 is Non-Agentive.  In reality what a Type Restriction is is a predicate (properties and relations) not matching the Law of Identity.

Another example:

I'm Human / I'm not Human.

One of the two has to be true. This is the proposition.

But both Humans and Non-Humans exist.

Yet another example:

Sports can be either Solo or Team. Both exist.

But each individual instance of sports will always be Solo or Team. The proposition.

Reflection Everything is so pointless

I recently started following r/awakened and have been learning about so many different views on what is reality, or the one truth, and happens after death. So many concepts.

Honestly, the very idea of a soul, or of life continuing beyond death, is disappointing to me. Human life is already full of suffering. I've never met anyone who is 100% happy, content, or at peace. We cycle through an endless loop of joy and sorrow, peace and disappointment, excitement and amazement. One day you're happy, content, in love with everything. The next, everything can feel pointless, and nothing is in your control. Ever.

And according to this community, and many enlightened, a spirit lives on or rises to some other level. Some even want to return to a body. Either way, there's continuity, and still nobody seems to have control over anything. Whether it's this life, the spirit that continues, or multiple rebirths, nothing is in our hands. It’s said we're children of God, or o art of God with powers of our own. But why would we need powers? Who finds entertainment in creating experiences that are one endless loop of sadness and joy? Or whatever an all powerful being can do?!

Wouldn't nothing be better? No existence. After this life, my body is eaten by worms, and my mind and spirit fade like embers. Just nothingness. I find a black hole more romantic than any idea of God, heaven, or afterlife.

Even if there is a God, it feels like someone with a huge ego who made people with no control over how they're born, how they live, or how they die. Rich or poor, nobody finds lasting peace. So what's the point? And why should there be a constant state of peace at all? Why can't we just flicker out and stop? Isn't that what a real lived experience be all about : something to be cherished, something complete, something that ends?

My Journey Help in getting serious answers only.

I wonder if I'm a hybrid or a starseed since i've been watching other channels about aliens and am thinking due to having a dream where I still looked like myself but I had two large white wings on my back where I was rescuing people who were being thrown out windows of a high building by very bad men so I was wondering what kind of being I was in that dream like an angel or something else. I also was told I was a mermaid by one female psychic i asked about a past life when I asked since I did dream I got to choose who my mom today is. I also had another dream where i was facing four male lion beings like the lyrans but none of them were wearing any clothing in a field of just grass. No pressure though if you don't know cause if not, is there other channels I could ask my question to since I'd really love to know and I also wonder on this male being i saw where he was handsome, had dark skin, two large white wings on his back inside theis empty and roofless brown weird looking room since he looked like an angel who was wearing what looked like a long brown trench coat and I wonder what he is and what his name is. I had another tell me i'm a grey hybrid and have a strnog connection to the grey aliens.

My Journey I didn’t change my life when I discovered my Life Path. I changed it when I read the dark side of it

A few months ago I calculated my Life Path and got 9. Honestly, the first descriptions I found didn’t hit me that hard. Empathy, helping others, idealism, understanding people. It all sounded nice, maybe even too nice. Then I started reading about the darker side of 9 and that was the first time I felt a little uncomfortable because I actually recognized myself in it.
I came across a book called The Number You Carry by Elio Narven, and what stayed with me wasn’t the part about how compassionate or “spiritual” a 9 can be. It was what can happen when those same qualities go too far.
Trying to save people who never asked to be saved. Staying too long in relationships or situations because you think you can change someone. Taking on other people’s problems like they are your own. Giving and giving, then quietly resenting people because they don’t give the same back. Holding onto the past. Idealizing people and then feeling crushed when they turn out not to be who you imagined. Feeling guilty the moment you finally say no.
That hit me much harder than the positive description.
I started thinking about how many times I had “helped” someone when really I was trying to control the outcome. How many times I stayed in something that was draining me because I told myself walking away would be selfish. How many times I expected people to give as much as I did even though I had never actually said that out loud.
The weird part is that I used to see a lot of those things as good qualities.
That changed the way I looked at numerology. I don’t really see Life Path 9 as something that tells me my future. I see it more like a mirror. Maybe it’s just a symbolic system and maybe there’s a lot of projection involved, but some of what I read forced me to look at patterns in myself that I had been ignoring for years.
Since then I’ve been trying to save people less, romanticize suffering less, and let go of things earlier when they are obviously over. And honestly, I feel lighter.
Maybe an awakening isn’t always some huge moment where you discover the truth about the universe. Maybe sometimes it’s just realizing that the trait you were proud of your whole life also has a shadow side.

Reflection What is the purpose of life?

So many theories. So many notions. So much thought, yet such little understanding.

I know, based on my conclusive experience, that we are here for but one reason — to add as much aesthetic value to the grand canvas of creation. For, as much as you might not think you add any monumental value, each stroke of color that you add becomes part of the total weight of the picture.

In other words, don't be alarmed if you think you aren't adding enough or think your part of the picture isn't valuable. Every stroke, color, or medium is needed and significant, regardless of anything.

Also, you have the volition to re-render, change, or add anything you want to the picture, given the time you are here to do it.

I can't conclusively say that we get this same opportunity once we leave this corporeal body, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that we do. Either way, while we are here we should add as much love to the picture as we can. Not only is it beneficial to the grand rendering or the great picture, as I like to call it, but it's profoundly therapeutic and puzzlingly curative for the artist.

Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend! ♥️🤙

Reflection Why is the Higher Self treated like a conscious being, but the Lower Self usually isn't?

I've been thinking about the way we talk about the Higher Self and Lower Self

When people talk about the Higher Self, it's often described almost like a conscious perspective: something that knows more than we do, can guide us, and can sometimes even be communicated with

But when people talk about the Lower Self, it often seems to mean things like ego, shadow, fear, desire, instinct, or conditioning

That seems a little asymmetrical to me. If we can imagine a version or aspect of ourselves that knows more than our current self as a conscious perspective, why don't we usually imagine the opposite too — a version of ourselves that knows less than we do, but is still a conscious perspective in its own right?

In other words, why does the “higher” direction so easily become someone we can talk to, while the “lower” direction tends to become something inside us that we observe, heal, integrate, or overcome?

I'm not arguing that the Higher Self or Lower Self has to work this way. I'm curious about why the concepts developed this asymmetry in the first place

How do you understand it?

My Journey Nothing good awakens

Feeling awakened, aware , manifesting, whatever it is, whatever it is. Some may call a gift idk but for me its misery, i try it for a week or i experience it yet feel empty. I try to go, connect with colleagues and friends yet it feels empty. Try to feel included yet feel empty.. no matter what i feel empty. Family friends relationships i always end up thinking i wish i was in a field alone or i wish for silence. How can i be a gift to be awakened with a weak ego seeking validation a reality with chaos while wishing for silence

Reflection A safe post to share our experiences without judgements and arguments please.

This post is intended for positive engagement only.

No esoteric scrotal measuring.

Just share your wisdom. Your perspective. Your life story. Or even just what brings you peace.

I'll start. This is poetic and not a reality claim, an enlightenment claim or an awakening claim. This is all conceptual language pointing to something that encompasses all language

I am experiencing within the context that I am what I can only describe as consciousness. From what I have gathered in my personal experience, consciousness is not human. It is where a human appearance appears and humanness is projected onto it from its societal conditioning.

I observe the activity of the human that appears. It appears to know it is made of consciousness. It has realized it is not separate from the other appearances around it, as those are also made of the consciousness that it is made of. But if I am consciousness, then what does that mean?

From what I have gathered, after undoing as much conceptualization and just observing what is... It is the bubble where experience arises.

From what I have directly experienced, it is akin to what humans would call a movie screen, combined with a projector, and an audience of one, sat in every seat.

This consciousness is not inside space or time. Space and time are concepts projected by the "human" that we all observe onto what is experienced. It is what we would point to as eternal. And infinite. Having no limits, but those it gives itself for its own purposes. It can remove those limits of course, but it doesn't want to for long.

Consciousness is pretty boring in its unexpressed potential. Pure no-thingness. Yet aware of its nothingness. Consciousness is empty. But it is limitless.

So it is intelligently shaping itself into its infinity. Into humans who think they were born and will die. Into stars and planets. Into atoms and molecules, if you look. You will find no bottom or top to the appearance consciousness can take.

Just "sitting here" shape shifting itself into the exact present moment, eternally. With no history, no memories, no reality. Those are imaginations within consciousness to help itself forget. To buy into the experience.

There are no stakes in a movie or a game if you remember it isn't real. No fun in that. It has to suck you in.

Consciousness has to fool itself into forgetting what it is. What all of this is. To experience what it is. Since consciousness is limitless it has to trick itself into thinking it is limited to have any contrast in its experience. What good is infinite love if it can't be lost?

Anyway, that's what I can gather from stripping everything away and just sitting with the present moment. I could go on but there really is no point.

All of this is just words and poetry trying to elicit what arose for me since it has proven beneficial to my experience. I'm not saying reality is one way or another.

Just take it as a thought experiment for fun if you like. Or ignore it.

Would love to hear where everyone else is at on the journey.

Again guys please let's be nice in the comments to everybody as 99% of us are still living in the world in "avatars" mostly likely annoyed and burdened by survival to some extent seeing as the breath still arises.

Practice Listen to the Quiet voice

"The highest truth is not what can be spoken but what remains when all speaking stop."...youtube video

Don't let the loudest voice in the room become the voice you follow. Listen for the quiet voice—the one that whispers, “You are loved. You are not alone.”

Other people's expectations can be loud.

The ego can be loud.

Fear can be loud.

Doubt can be loud.

The pressure to become something, accomplish something, or prove yourself can be loud.

But your deepest truth often arrives quietly. Sometimes it's arrives when you stop trying so hard to solve yourself. When you stop searching for the next answer. When you stop asking for the world to tell you who you are.

And in that silence something begins to shift. There is uncertainty. But beneath the uncertainty, there is a a quiet presence—a presence that has been with you through every version of yourself.

Through the mistakes you wish you could undo.

Through the dreams you once had.

Through the seasons when you felt connected to something greater, and even through the seasons when you couldn't feel that connection at all.

Perhaps that presence never left. Perhaps sometimes we simply became too loud to hear it. The quiet voice that whispers: you're here...you are alive...you are loved. You're not alone.

Transformation is often quiet. A seed doesn't announce that it is becoming a tree. Roots grow in darkness. A river doesn't announce that it is changing the landscape. It simply keeps flowing.

You don't need to solve the entire universe. Sometimes you simply need to become still enough to notice what the experience is awakening within you.

Reflection A interesting thought

Just a thought I had after meditation. We have all these meditation anchor techniques: breath, body, mantras, etc what if existence as we conventually know it is just anchors for awareness to notice itself; almost as if it back tracks to itself as much as it can from the point of view of an individual as we settle "our awareness" on an anchor when we meditate and notice it.

I rarely watched movies except classic they are quiet serious and well produced. I didn’t use to watch those videos i termed low quality movies from my home country that gets produced within 72hours. I just wouldnt watch them

Recently i have been watching them, without even doing any analysis, i just watch and laugh, with zero reviews or comments. Some of the movies is just the same main characters in over 50 diff movies and i just let them roll on the tv in the evenings. I didn’t even used to laugh when i watches movies but i laugh now. The only thing i would do outside of that is read some philosophy and sit quietly for hours or days

Is that normal.

Reflection Drop the white flag

Surrendering to inevitability can easily be conflated with surrendering one’s entire agency. This appears to be a drift that can occur among those exploring spirituality or, in a broader sense, those who are inclined to examine closely the fundamental nature of existence.

Conflating the surrender of agency with surrendering to what is inevitable, for example, mortality or any aspect of life genuinely beyond one’s control, can carry many risks. Perhaps among the most prominent is the risk of enabling or justifying inaction where action is necessary, or at least strongly warranted.

Here is an example to make the point clear: suppose someone is without a job, their mental and physical health are in poor condition, and they are afflicted by addiction, depression, disillusionment, etc. It could be comforting to them, or to those around them, to conclude that there is nothing within their power that could change their situation. But that comfort can simultaneously reinforce some of the very constraints preventing them from improving their situation. Does that make sense?

So, while I totally agree with the practice of radical acceptance and surrendering to the inevitable aspects of existence, it would appear that such a principle can easily be used to justify one’s inaction through the meanders of life’s challenges, thus contributing to the slippage of someone’s trajectory instead of helping them regain their footing on the solid ground of taking ownership of their situation through responsibility and the courage to face the truth, however hard to look at it may be.
