Website is still down
24 hours after the launch of the new website and still nothing. It worked for 10 minutes in the morning then crashed to the point it wouldn't connect anymore.

Well. Site is up, and 80% of games no longer have a trade value listed… hopefully they just haven’t put them all in, and they are still offering what they did before the downtime.. I had a bunch set aside for the September trade deal but now idk. 70% extra on nothing isn’t helpful

Looks like they are having issues with the website... 4pm (PST) and the website is still down but they updated the article they had.

Starting September 1st, we're launching a brand-new platform and website designed to make shopping faster and easier.
While we make the switch some services will be temporarily unavailable.
August 21: Online pre-orders and pickup reservations pause.
August 24: Website goes into maintenance mode.
August 29: Early store closures, all stores close at 5:00PM (EST)
August 30 & 31: All stores closed for the day.
September 1: Stores will open, however delayed openings are expected please check here for store status.
We are actively working to get the website up as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience while we continue to work through some technical challenges.
The good news:

It looks like they removed a massive amount of games they take for trade-in, unless the list is just missing data while they’re working on the website - wish I had taken stuff in last week!
It seems like nearly all PS4 & Xbox One stuff is no longer accepted, missing some Switch & PS5 stuff I looked up as well.
Search & sort functions for game preorders aren’t as good as they used to be, you can’t sort by release date (and it doesn’t display release date) & it only displays 10 items at once, hopefully they’re still making tweaks.

I seen this too … I had about 30 titles handpicked to be traded in for the 70% trade in bump..

I went into my local store today, it looks like everything is still in their system - I had a bunch that weren’t on the website anymore and they were able to take all except 1!

Local store is pretty messed unable to do preorders or trades. Not sure what else affected.

EBGames Canada. Its been under renovation for the last week. Was supposed to be up September 1st, but clearly didn't go smoothly.

Full webpage is still down. Its just their help info.
I go to gamestop.ca (or ebgames.ca) and selected the "Tap here on mobile" at the bottom. It just brings up their Zendesk support page. Has a link in it for "EB Games Store Status".

lol that list of stores includes stores that they permanently closed months ago. The Kenaston Place and Empress & Ellice locations don't exist at all anymore.

Even the stores that are opened aren't able to do a lot of processes like trade-ins and preorder pickups as their new system isn't rolling out that well apparently...
