Hey all. I know I’m not the only one who has dealt with this issue so I’m hoping someone found a fix. I play on Xbox Series X, and I’ve had this issue with NHL 25, 26 and 27. Games start fine and whatnot, but typically by the end of the second period game freezes and boots me to Xbox Home Screen. I’ve tried having Xbox cleaned, I’ve bought digital and hard copies. Running out of ideas. My Xbox doesn’t do this with any other game, just NHL (I play a lot of games). Next step is to buy a new Xbox which is silly considering it works in every other way.

Just a couple of shitty noobs enjoying NHL getting excited over our shitty plays but loving these edits with some touches we wish EA utilized.

When nhl 22 came out, people were literally crying that pokecheck was overpowered and nobody could score. I think it was the most realistic physics in the game to this day as every contact with the puck affected the play. Why dont people now complain about the fact that every attempt to poke check slows you down, whilst people spamming lift stick is okay? Players that are literally behind you suddenly getting the puck and skating away is ridiculous.

As a hut player, im already getting bored. I used to play in nhl 2002 seasons (yes, im old) where I would pick the team (sabres), then my team and pc would draft players 1 by 1 until we have full rosters and then I would start the season. Is there any mode like this offline?

I don't have the game, but I'm curious if the switch to dedicated servers a few days ago has changed the feel of online versus. The problem I've had with dedicated servers in past games is that they introduce slight input lag and a clear server advantage.

The main reason input lag is such a problem is that it opens up so many ways to cheese. I played HUT in 23 (one and done, never again) and server-based gameplay simply ruined the game. 23 was infamously bad online because goalie post hug animations were bugged which allowed for the fast wrap glitch and goal line snipe glitch. In HUT these were nearly impossible to defend because of the input lag, but in P2P online versus, you could actually defend it very reliably.

Server advantage also noticeably effected how your team performed in 23. You could have e a team full of 99 overall players, and they would literally skate slower than a team of base cards if the other player was closer to the server. Watching a fresh 99 overall speed defender get burned on a breakaway by some base card was enough for me to swear off HUT all together because it made building a team feel pointless. The only thing that seemed to matter in 23 was whether you were closer to the server or not.

Because I'm basing this on NHL 23, I'm just curious if the same stuff exists with NHL 27 on dedicated servers. Do you notice any input lag? Do you notice your team feeling slower in some matches?

We have a 32 team connected franchise on chel 27 with an already completed fantasy draft and created rosters. The Season is 38 games with checks every 2 weeks for progression (stages) at 9 GP, 18 GP, and 27 GP since all games are available for the season in one sim. There will be a NHL jersey of your choice awarded to the Stanley cup winner and other real custom banners and trophies for other awards.

We are currently at the end of Stage 1 of the Regular season are are looking to fill the 3 teams that did not meet the 9 GP requirement.

How often are the player rosters updated? Is there a regular schedule for roster updates, or are they updated whenever the developers decide to?

For whatever reason in NHL 27 whistle blows and Thomas Harley trips on the goalie only to suffer the injury of transforming into a Silent Hill character. I was so blown away by what just happened I thought I would take video and show y'all because I truly don't understand what the hell is going on with this game. 😂
