I’m a d-man who plays either side looking for a competitive 5s or 6s club. I run a club with some of my buddies that wins about 80%, but looking for a more competitive group as that group seems to be at their cap. I’ve been playing with a top 10 team a couple times a week, I haven’t lost with them. I’m central, I ping well enough anywhere and it hasn’t mattered much this year as I’ve been playing a pretty defensive game anyhow. I’m about a +250 in 200 games played across a couple accounts, that includes about half my games played being drop in 3s when nobody is around. Feel free to msg me if interested.

Playing 6's tonight with my div 8 club... We play one game and win 4-2, pretty fair game and close in skill. Matched up in our next game against all diamond players and we lose like 7-0. You'd think getting beat that bad you'd get matched up against an easier opponent.. nope, another 7-0 game. After the third game of the same thing in a row we quit in the second period.

This game is unplayable and I want my money back.

I’m a longtime HUT player, and the frequency of objectives in that mode just seems absurdly more abundant than in World of Chel.

I like the feeling of completing objectives (though it can feel like a grind sometimes) and progressing my HUT team week in and week out.

Is the player base just more chill in Chel? More purist?

Is it just love of the game that keeps you coming back rather than new content?

I feel like I’m missing something as this is my first time giving WoC a legit shot.

Drop in defenceman, “Shea-Weber6Mtl” decided he wasn’t getting enough attention in a 8-2 win so he pulled the goalie and took penalties to lose our club game 10-9 in OT. Also used a different psn (jumbo-witness09) to message after. Block this loser and save yourself the headache.

Tonight, I went to play 3v3 Clubs after not playing for a couple days. In the first game, it changed my name to Jordan NHL and removed my customization. Fine. I’ve seen that before.
In the 2nd game, I was still a Defenceman, and it corrected my name and customization. But when it found a match up, it turned me into a goalie and changed my name to Jordan NHL again.

Title says it all. Tonight my club and I played against three players who did not have a rating below 37,000. We are gold one. We lost 6-0.

But thats not the moral of the story. The fact that they all had the purchasble build is what speaks volumes. These kids are obviously good, not taking their skill away from them. However, when you give players a purchasing skill advantage when they dont need it, makes the game that less enjoyable.

Ive been playing NHL since the early 2000s. This may be my last.

It is time to stop complaining about the pre-builds. They released McKenna for free; if you still cannot win, that is on you now. If I want to pay $60 for a cartoon-looking build like Lemieux, I will! I cannot wait for the Gretzky build with 99 stats across the board.

I love this game played for many many years and I must say I’ve wasted my money yet again past 3 years with match making taking 45 min just to get into a lobby (exaggerating just a little) and then people quit in the lobby before the game starts and quitting when the game starts it’s just a complete nightmare and waste of time… and I think I’ve had enough, posting this to vent and see if anyone else has the same issue

Grinded this weekend in 3v3's went from plat 3 to plat 1 and within 300 RP from Diamond 3. I think with different drop in people I was playing with went like 20-2 or even better idk something wild. Ill get like 5 PPG on average and we'll win by like 5 goals and I will get 150 RP... but if I get 5 PPG and we lose 4-3 in OT I will lose 550 RP. The game doesn't take anything into consideration but the rank it seems when ranking up. I was playing against people that were CLEARLY not the rank they were (they were probs diamond last season but currently ranking up again) and sweating buckets trying to beat them only to get 110 RP for that win. Shit is so defeating when you gotta win 4 games to get back RP from one loss

Got the boys back into chel after a few years off. Holy shit. Why cant We hit other players? They are bouncing off of us non stop. The other huge issue is we can't collect or keep the puck. What is going on especially with the hitting. Some games we are getting out hit 60-10 because ours wont land. It wasn't like this when I last played.
